2 1) CONTENT Key card Each SL 460 SMARTLOCK has its own key card. Store the key card in a safe place, as smartphones and ZR SL 460 E-KEYs can be paired with the SMARTLOCK with the key card only. Resetting the SMARTLOCK to factory settings or the deletion of already assigned joint user rights is also only possible with the key card. Bracket ZR 20 In the case that there is no standard attachment option at your bicycle, the ZR 20-brackets can be used to mount the lock at the bicycle frame. 2) MOUNTING AT THE BICYCLE

3 3) TRELOCK SMARTLOCK -APP The App for the TRELOCK SL 460 SMARTLOCK can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play StoreTM. The App is needed in order to add SMARTLOCKs to the smartphone, to open the lock and to manage user authorisations. The App is not required when using the ZR SL 460 E-KEY. Install the App on your smartphone. The owner of the lock is able to register with the mytrelock web service on initial use. Only a SMART- LOCK owner who is registered with the service will be able to order additional key cards and block joint-user authorisations online. The echo-location function helps you to locate the NFC antenna of your smartphone. To do this, hold the smartphone up against the SMARTLOCK. End the function when you have located the NFC antenna. d) Then you can assign an individual user designation. 75% d)

4 4) TEACHING THE SMARTLOCK Up to 8 devices (smartphones and ZR SL 460 E-KEYs) may be taught to the SMARTLOCK. In the main menu of the App, select the Add locks option. Hold the key card up against the smartphone/e-key. Hold the smartphone/e-key up against the SMARTLOCK. d) Hold the smartphone/e-key up against the SMARTLOCK again for synchronisation purposes. This step is not necessary when using an E-KEY. The smartphone has now been trained successfully. Note: The smartphone that is paired first with the SMARTLOCK (also after resetting the lock to factory settings), is assigned to the user. Only this user can log in the app and thus block joint users for the use of his lock. e) The smartphone has now been paired successfully with the SMARTLOCK. f) Via the menu item Administrate Locks you can change the designation of the SMARTLOCK. d) e) f)

5 5) OPENING AND LOCKING OF THE SMARTLOCK If you hold an authorised smartphone/authorised ZR SL 460 E-KEY up against the SMARTLOCK for a period of at least 2 seconds, the opening mechanism will be activated. The SMARTLOCK can now be opened by pressing the activation button. If the SMARTLOCK is not opened within 20 seconds of activation, the opening mechanism will be deactivated again. d) The SMARTLOCK is simply locked using the bar whilst pressing the activation button. 6 6) REMOVE SMARTLOCKS FROM THE SMARTPHONE Select Remove lock in the main menu of the app. Hold the key card against the smartphone. d) The message Lock has been removed from the app successfully. signals that the process was successful. Hold the smartphone against the SMARTLOCK. d)

7 7) RESETTING THE SMARTLOCK The SMARTLOCK can be reset to factory settings. In this process, all previously saved rights to open the lock are deleted so that the SMARTLOCK can no longer be opened with the previously paired smartphones / ZR SL 460 E-KEYs. The key card associated with the SMARTLOCK is required for resetting. Select the option Reset lock in the menu item Administrate locks. Hold the key card against the smartphone. Subsequently, hold the smartphone to the SMARTLOCK. d) The message Lock has been reset to factory condition successfully signals that the process was successful. Note: The SMARTLOCK can be reset to factory settings with any smartphone as long as the app is installed on it and the key card belonging to the SMARTLOCK is available. d)

8 8) BLOCKING/UNLOCKING OF JOINT USER RIGHTS VIA SMARTPHONE Using the TRELOCK SMARTLOCK app, the owner of the SMART- LOCK can manage previously assigned joint user rights. In the menu item Administrate locks you can view all locks paired with your smartphone. To block joint users for the use of your SMARTLOCK, you must be logged in (the log in is possible under the menu item Settings ). Select the option Joint user management in the menu item Administrate locks. Hold the smartphone against the smartphone SMART- LOCK. Select the option Block joint user / Unlock joint user for the user / the smartphone in question. Note: Blocking / unlocking of joint users becomes active only when both your smartphone and the smartphone of the joint user was online.

9 9) MANAGEMENT OF THE SMARTLOCK AS JOINT USER A smartphone can be paired with an unlimited number of SMARTLOCK. Under Administrates locks, you can view for which SMARTLOCKs you are registered as owner / joint user. To delete your own right to open a SMARTLOCK as a joint user from the smartphone, proceed as follows: Under Administrate locks select the option Remove lock for the SMARTLOCK you would like to delete. Hold the key card against the smartphone. Subsequently, hold the smartphone to the SMARTLOCK.

10 10) ZR SL 460 E-KEY The ZR SL 460 E-KEY is the ideal alternative for all those who would like to use the SL 460 SMARTLOCK by TRELOCK without smartphone with Android operating system. Using the ZR SL 460 E-KEY the SMARTLOCK can be opened just as easily as with a smartphone, however downloading the SMARTLOCK app from the Google Play Store is not required. 11) PAIRING THE ZR SL 460 E-KEY WITH THE SMARTLOCK Activate the E-KEY by pressing the button. Hold the E-KEY against the key card until the green LED signal lights up. Hold the E-KEY against the SMARTLOCK. A green LED signal shows that the E-KEY was paired successfully. The SMART- LOCK can now be opened using the E-KEY.

11 12) OPENING AND LOCKING THE SMARTLOCK WITH THE E-KEY Activate the E-KEY by pressing the button. Hold the E-KEY against the SMARTLOCK. d) The SMARTLOCK is closed simply with the bracket while the activation button is pressed. A green LED signal shows that the SMARTLOCK can now be opened by pressing the activation button on the lock. PUSH d) PUSH

12 13) UNPAIRING THE ZR SL 460 E-KEY FROM THE SMARTLOCK Activate the E-KEY by pressing the button. Hold the E-KEY against the key card until the green LED signal lights up. Hold the E-KEY against the SMARTLOCK.

13 13) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE E-KEY If the E-KEY is activated, the LED display flashes blue to signal operation. The E-KEY remains active for a period of 15 seconds and is automatically deactivated after expiry of this period to reduce the battery consumption. The E-KEY has a battery that can be charged via micro USB cable. The LED flashes red during the charging process. Once the battery is charged completely, the LED lights up green. When activating the E-KEY, the battery status is shown by the colour of the LED. Battery status E-KEY: Green Battery charged sufficiently. Yellow Kindly recharge the battery of your E-KEY soon. Red Kindly recharge the battery of your E-KEY immediately! Otherwise you risk that you can no longer open the SMARTLOCK using the E-KEY.
