The PLATFORM can be used for video Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, tele-conferencing, tele-medicine, tele-maintenance and other duplex communication applications. It utilizes the newest generation SCOTTY HD580 hardware coder/decoder and processing unit. There will be airborne, land/mobile, and maritime versions. It has been designed for networks with relatively low bandwidth and high latency. Perfect for the Inmarsat HDR service.
