3 IEEE HPSR Conference Budapest, 2015 July 1-4 FMC Tutorial FuncEonal convergence 3 State of the art: Mobile traffic offload to Wi-Fi networks 3GPP and non-3gpp wireless interworking is addressed in the mobile core The 3GPP AAA server connects the HSS and the non-3gpp (e.g. Wi-Fi) network In a Wi-Fi network mobile users are authenecated and authorized through registered AAA clients

Subscriber: As defined by 3GPP TR version Release 12: A Subscriber is an en.ty (associated with one or more users) that has subscribed a service with a provider. The subscriber is allowed to subscribe and unsubscribe services, to register a user or a list of users authorised to enjoy these services, and also to set the limits rela.ve to the use that associated users make of these services. Example Alice (mother of Bob): Subscriber to mobile, fixed line, public hotspot and video-on-demand OTT services User of all the above services has her own user profile for each service Bob (child of Alice): User of fixed line and video-on-demand services with limited user profiles
