To address the issues, the market mega-trend is moving toward the ubiquitous transport networks by use of Ethernet to transport TDM, SONET and Packet. By supporting PBT/PBB-TE, MPLS-TP(*) and OAM(802.1ag, Y.1731), G200 and G300 are well positioned to the Packet Transport Network and are capable of dealing with cost-effective transport aggregation traffic for many high-speed access networks. E-LINE, E-LAN and E-Tree services in G200 and G300 can provide differentiated QoS and SLA assurance for Ethernet private line services. In addition, G200 and G300 significantly reduce OPEX by providing easy migration from legacy TDM to Ethernet networks with seamless support of SONET/SDH grooming, cross-connect and transport service. Wireless backhaul solutions Today s traffic in the wireless backhaul is steadily increasing by video and data traffic over the voice service network. Unfortunately current TDM based wireless backhaul capacity is hardly able to keep pace with the relevant bandwidth growth. On other hand, the ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) is not growing as much as bandwidth growth is. We believe that Carrier Ethernet is a unique solution to reduce OPEX and CAPEX for the wireless operators. 8 G150 Ethernet Access Device for Demarcation Key Advantages All functionalities are accomplished throughout Network Processor based programmable devices. By upgrading Network Processor software, the operator can add, modify all the features without service interruption. The operator can achieve any customization based on their own service policy and provide such level of differentiation to customers. High level of protection based on standards will provide the operator and customers the reliable service. Specially, Ethernet Ring Protection based on ITU -T G.8032 can achieve 50ms protection as the same level of SONET/SDH protection. Clock synchronizations as the built-in feature realize Timing over Packet based on IEEE 1588 v2, Synchronization Ethernet based on G.8261 and hybrid of them. The G150 is a complete set of hardware and software for actual service and ready for MEF certification including MEF 9,14 and 18 of OEM/ODM customer name. The Actus G150 is cost-optimized Customer Premises Product for Ethernet Demarcation. The flexibility of the latest network processor served by LSI on G150 enables service providers to deliver ubiquitous Ethernet service by supporting E-Line/E-LAN services and E1/T1 service by circuit emulation.
