11 . Accessies f Training, Development, Testing and Servicing Starter Kits F a project to be effective it is necessary to have the right accessies and suitable tools to hand. In the case of application development the individual components must also be properly combined and must be compatible with each other. If some application software is to be developed f a HYDAC mobile controer, it is best to use one our starter kits. These kits contain a the necessary tools and products f the operation of a HY-TTC controer. The project s senss and actuats can be connected to the particular connect interface thus ensuring that the electronics and valve technology actuay used are always connected directly to the controer. This makes developing and perfming initial tests much less time-consuming. The starter kits are also available in two different versions:. F programming and development in CODESYS. 19 Controer Test Benches With the development of controer test benches, HYDAC ELECTRONIC has expanded the testing and servicing capabilities of the HY-TTC series. Fast and reliable test procedures are a key fact in the efficient implementation of functional safety control software. This is particularly so in respect of functions with functional safety. Cruciay, the HYDAC controer test bench offers significant reductions in total development time. HYDAC s controer test benches can bring about significant reductions in this regard. As almost any input variables can be generated, and load applied to almost any outputs, the machine behaviour can be simulated. The time gain is particularly evident during commissioning of the machine. Nmay a that is required is fine-tuning. The tests aow programming errs to be discovered and rectified we in advance. Configuration A our controer test benches offer freely configurable input and output wiring. The connection to the controer is realised with a universal connect. Each pin of this connect is permanently assigned to a module channel. Plug-in input and output modules are available f operation. Using the output modules, a resistive load can be applied to the channels of a controer. The remote-control controer test bench (RTB) can be configured and controed via the TSE (HYDAC Test and Simulation Tool). F configuration of the RTB, a basic version of the TSE is enclosed with the RTB. The fu version of the TSE, which requires a license, makes it possible to emulate controers and entire controer architectures on the PC. Furtherme, entire test sequences f a function and err test can be automated. These devices can be configured and controed externay via PC-based software. The test bench is modular in design and can therefe be adapted to the individual requirements of the application. The RTB is cascadable via addressing. Over rows, the stable 9ʺ rack provides capacity f modules in total. Four modules f supply voltage, communications and internal supply f the controers senss are already instaed in the rack in fixed module positions. These modules provide the battery supply, reference points (GND) f analogue and digital signals, the communication interfaces (CAN, RS, LIN), plus a sens power supply. The optional labeing sets can be used to label the fuy populated RTB on the back, to suit a our controers. On the back, input terminals are available f battery voltage with max. 90 A. The controer can also be instaed directly here. To connect the controer to the RTB, there are plug-in connection terminals on the rear. Each of these plug-in terminals is aocated to a fixed slot on the front which guarantees unambiguous assignment to the connected ECU pin. Through the use of pluggable I/O modules, a essential controer functions can be tested. This means that each of the I/O modules provides the drive f four controer pins. In addition, the connection between controer pin and module channel can be broken via the Break-Out Connection Block. When disconnected, external senss actuats can also be directly connected to a controer pin. Configuration switches are used to drive the input and outputs individuay. Automatic function The test bench can be configured and remotely controed via the CAN interface located on the back. The software required f this is not included and must be dered separately from HYDAC ELECTRONIC. However, a functions can also be activated directly on the device. 27 Universal Module f RTB ZBS RTB-IN Special features Up to controer pins on one module Digital signals, high and low-side Frequency signals Voltage signals Current signals External signal supply possible Two alternative functions can be configured Description The Universal Module aows a signal to be applied to the input of a controer. Almost any output signals from a sens can be simulated with this module via a selection menu. The type of signal can be selected from the selection menu. An incremental control provides adjustment of the required signal value. Possible signal types are digital switching states, frequency, voltage and current signals. The module can be used to drive both digital and analogue inputs. To test signals with increased requirements of functional safety, two channels can also be configured as master-slave. F this type of operation, various antivalent signal types are available. The real-time signal level can be measured at the Break-Out plugs. This jumper plug connects the pin of the controer with the electronics of the module. When this plug is disconnected, external senss can also be directly connected to the controer.
