Note (2) When the backlight turns on before the LCD operation of the LCD turns off, the display may momentarily become abnormal screen. Note (3) In case of VCC = off level, please keep the level of input signals on the low or keep a high impedance. Note (4) T4 should be measured after the module has been fully discharged between power off and on period. Note (5) Interface signal shall not be kept at high impedance when the power is on. 20 7. PRECAUTIONS 7. ASSEMBLY AND HANDLING PRECAUTIONS () Do not apply rough force such as bending or twisting to the module during assembly. (2) To assemble or install module into user s system can be only in clean working areas. The dust and oil may cause electrical short or worsen the polarizer. (3) It s not permitted to have pressure or impulse on the module because the LCD panel and Backlight will be damaged. (4) Always follow the correct power sequence when LCD module is connecting and operating. This can prevent damage to the CMOS LSI chips during latch-up. (5) Do not pull the I/F connector in or out while the module is operating. (6) Do not disassemble the module. (7) Use a soft dry cloth without chemicals for cleaning, because the surface of polarizer is very soft and easily scratched. (8) It is dangerous that moisture come into or contacted the LCD module, because moisture may damage LCD module when it is operating. (9) High temperature or humidity may reduce the performance of module. Please store LCD module within the specified storage conditions. ()When ambient temperature is lower than ºC may reduce the display quality. For example, the response time will become slowly. 7.2 STORAGE PRECAUTIONS () Do not leave the module in high temperature, and high humidity for a long time. It is highly recommended to store the module with temperature from to 35 and relative humidity of less than 7% (2) Do not store the TFT LCD module in direct sunlight (3) The module should be stored in dark place. It is prohibited to apply sunlight or fluorescent light in storing 7.3 OPERATION PRECAUTIONS () The LCD product should be operated under normal condition. Otherwise, Its reliability and function may not be guaranteed. 7.4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS () If the liquid crystal material leaks from the panel, it should be kept away from the eyes or mouth. In case of contact with hands, skin or clothes, it has to be washed away thoroughly with soap. (2) After the module s end of life, it is not harmful in case of normal operation and storage. 7.5 SAFETY STANDARDS The LCD module should be certified with safety regulations as follows () UL695- or updated standard. 24 .Inspection Specifications The buyer (customer) shall inspect the modules within twenty calendar days since the delivery date (the "inspection period ) at its own cost. The results of the inspection (acceptance or rejection) shall be recorded in writing, and a copy of this writing will be promptly sent to the seller. The buyer may, under commercially reasonable reject procedures, reject an entire lot in the delivery involved if, within the inspection period, such samples of modules within such lot show an unacceptable number of defects in accordance with this incoming inspection standards, provided however that the buyer must notify the seller in writing of any such rejection promptly, and not later than within three business days of the end of the inspection period. Should the buyer fail to notify the seller within the inspection period, the buyer's right to reject the modules shall be lapsed and the modules shall be deemed to have been accepted by the buyer. 2. Warranty Inteltronic Inc. warrants to you, the original purchaser, that each of its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Inteltronic Inc. will be limited to replace or repair any of its module which is found and confirmed defective electrically or visually when inspected in accordance with Inteltronic Inc. general module inspection standard. This warranty does not apply to any products which have been on customer s production line, repaired or altered by persons other than repair personnel authorized by Inteltronic Inc., or which have been subject to misuse, abuse, accident or improper installation. Inteltronic Inc. assumes no liability under the terms of this warranty as a consequence of such events. If an Inteltronic Inc. product is defective, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge during the warranty period. For out-of-warranty repairs, you will be billed according to the cost of replacement materials, service time and freight. In returning the modules, they must be properly packaged with original package; there should be detailed description of the failures or defect. 3.
