1 lue Point 8-Channel RPU oard Overview 8-Ch Remote Playback oard for RPU Interface his unique microprocessor based control board was designed to allow playback selection for 1-8 channel switching control of a rookshire Software, LLC RPU (Remote dvanced Playback Unit) show control Interface board through direct connected remote switches, relays, RF system, floor mat switches, various sensor inputs, on-board tactile switches or through any of the programmable lue Point Wizard, Puppet boards. oard Size: 3-7/8" L x 3-1/8" W x 5/8" H he switch control board connects directly to the RPU interface board via an 6 foot ribbon RS-232 cable and will allow the user to directly trigger playback of any of 1-8 shows programmed and recorded in the RPU from the VS software without any special control hardware programming needed or any other connected managing device, like a host computer. (No Computer is required for any playback control) RPU playback or testing can be initiated by either pressing the associated tactile switch located on the board or by dry contact closure at the adjacent channel terminal 1-8 blocks. When RPU playback is initiated, a yellow status LED on the switch control board lights and stays lit until the playback has ended. nother show cannot be started while the current one is playing preventing false triggering. board has On and Off power switch, Power Red LED indicator. he board requires a 9-12 VDC 100 m minimum power supply that is attached to the board via a 2.1mm barrel-type power supply or the adjacent wire terminal + / - block connector. ( 2.1mm x 5.1 mm Power Jack for quick setup and connection) Wire tie down holes are designed into the control board to secure all attached wires from remote connected trigger devices, or sensors preventing the attached wires from coming loose or breaking away. Sensors, es, rigger devices connect directly to the control board and are connected to the on-board wire terminal block for each channel 1-8. ( two wire connection) On-board RS Pin connector for communications between switch board and RPU interface board, interface D9 cable (6' length) has both Male and Female 9 Pin RS-232 connectors for quick connection directly to the 1-8 switch controller and the RPU board connector.
