3 PRODUCT INFORMATION : We are happy to introduce new version of Little Spr int version 2 (LS-02) series Model: LS - 23 Weigh Batch Controller, a compact small unit giving the accurate weight. The product is supported with a five digit n umeric seven-segment display. It is designed with latest & advanced micro controller based technology. The connectors are of Press and Lock technology for fitting load cell, Relay outputs & Mains input and input switches. It is designed in such a manner to enable us to get maximum benefits for the user and better accuracy with trouble free operation. User-friendly keyboard and easy calibration procedure makes this LS-23 Weigh batch controller very versatile and advanced in all respect. This LS-23 can increase your product features and will give value addition to your product. We thank you for choosing our product and wish you happy usage of the same. Identify your indicator- Front panel Keyboard: TARE KEY : This key is used to tare the initial weight to zero. Long press Tare - Reset counter SHIFT KEY : This key is used to shift the cursor from left to right on display. For set point and in flight setting. INC KEY : The short press with this key enables to increment the individual digit from 0 to 9 during calibration. Long press enables the unit to go in the calibration mode at any stage. ENTER KEY : This key is used to confirm and store the selected data. Used for setting delay. On power it is used for configuration setting.

Fix the indicator in proper slot. Connect Mains supply, load cell connection and relay output connection as per details given. Calibrate the indicator LS-02 with minimum of 25% (500 KG) of the capacity. 5 1. CALIBRATION PROCEDURE : S witch ON supply. K eep pressing INC key till the display goes blank after showing Sprnt. E nter password. The password is - Press the keys insequence from left to right once and then first key again i.e. TARE, SHIFT, INC, ENTER and TARE. D isplay shows counts this is initial offset count and it is approx These counts are automatic and there is no setting for adjustment with INC OR SHIFT key P ress respective weighing hopper and displa yed count should increase(if reduces then load cell wire Green and white is to be interchanged). P ress Enter key, display shows Cal WT& keeps blinking 0 the las t digit. K eep known weight on the load cell pan & set the weight using INC key i.e. pressing INC ke y - blinking digit will increment from 0 to 9 and again roll back. Press SHIFT key to shift the digit to left; and again set blinking digit E.g. If you are keeping 200 kg then press INC key twice and using SHIFT key twice to show 200. P ress ENTER key and display will show final count for some time and once it is stable then display will show Done and come b ack to weighing mode showing actual weight on the weighing hopper. If any error occurs, then display gives Errormessage & goes into count mode. I f you want to abort/cancel calibration in betweenthen press TARE key then display goes into Weight mode with earlier calibration setting present in the memory. 2. SET POINT SETTING : In indicator ON condition; keep pressing SHIFT key for 5 seconds. Display shows Sprnt and goes blank. E nter Pass word keys in sequence TARE, SHIFT, INC, Enter and then TARE again. D isplay shows 2 Step (two set point) and 1 step o Then right most blinking zero with selected configuration of capacity. o Enter the weight using INC and SHIFT key and press ENTER key. o 2 step will display and right most blinking zero. Enter 2 n d set point and press ENTER key.

6 o Then display shows inf with zero blinking - Enterin-flight for set point one and two. T hen it shows M tare this is minimum tare weight where we have to program minimum tare weight. When weight goes below this weight front LED display goes off. And again second cycle starts automatically. 3. DELAY SETTING: Keep pressing ENTER key for 5 seconds, display will go blank then Enter password. Then enter the following delays in sequence 1. Cycle start delay 2. Cycle stop delay ( Delay between first cycle and second cycle) 3. Settling time 4. Discharge Delay (after filling is complete) 5. Discharge stop delay (time after min tare value r eached and before discharge close signal) 4. COUNTER RESET : Keep pressing TARE Key for 5 seconds, display will go blank then Enter password. Then with INC key select the counter reset Y or N and then press ENTER. 5. TEST PROCEDURE : K eep pressing TARE key while switching ON then selftest starts D ISPLAY TEST Display count down from 0000 to 9999 F RONT LED TEST LED from S1 to S6 and I1, I2 will blink one after the other. R ELAY TEST Relay will get ON RL1, RL2 and RL3. K EY TEST You can press the keys and display will show that key on Display. After pressing Enter key indicator will co me out of TEST Mode. INPUT key - Press I1 Input one LED will glow and Press I2 Input two LED will glow. Counter: To check the counter we can short press INC button to see counter. The counter is showing number of cycles completed.

7 Guidelines for no break down E nsure for proper earthing of the unit. E nsure proper voltage supply and frequency of the electric supply. In case of three phase generator is used; always use isolation transformer two phase to single phase to avoid unit failure. E nsure No welding is done with Load cell structure while panel is in ON condition. E nsure proper tightening of load cells. E nsure proper cabling of load cells. 8 TROUBLE SHOOTING PROCEDURE : Please note that the calibration is a factory setting and does not require to be done on regular. basis In case of error, authorized / trained person may carry out the calibration. Given below is certain trouble shooting steps which are to be followed in case the unit is not functioning properly. Problems Action Required 1. No Display a. Check input power supply 2. Check load cell connection Check load cell parameters input resistance = 390 or 350 ohms and output resistance = 350 ohms. If not then load cells is faulty. Calibrate the indicator with proper weight. Use other load cell for testing purpose. Check for any touching of bin with other portion of structure. Weighing bins separation sheet is touching each other. Calibrated with wrong weight Machine is not leveled properly. Re-calibrate the indicator Initial off set count is high and not in the range. Load cell fitting not proper Load cell is touching with other part of system base.

9 WARRANTY : We as a manufacturer provide the warranty of 12 months from the date of invoice supply as against any manufacturing defect. During the warranty period, free servicing (at our office only) can be given, provided the following norms are followed. : 1. The seal should not be broken. If it is broken, the company warranty void. 2. The unit should be handled properly. No physical damage should be observed. 3. The operating temperature & i/p voltage should be with in the limits as given in Technical specification. 4. The user must refer the Operational Manual prior to its use.
