Off/Shut Down To turn the power off. Different Operating Systems have their own process to shut down a computer. Air Can Compressed air is a gas, or a combination of gases, that has been put under greater pressure than the air in the general environment. Compressed air in spray cans (sometimes called canned air ) is often used to clean things that are especially delicate or sensitive, such as keyboards or the inside of computer cases. Screen Cloth To clean the LCD screen we recommend that you use a non-rugged microfiber cloth, soft cotton cloth, or Swiffer duster. Page 4

For example, the operating system's interface and other processes get loaded into memory when the computer boots up. When you open a program like Microsoft Word, it gets loaded into the computer's memory as well. When you quit the program, the memory is freed up for use by other programs. RAM can be accessed hundreds of times faster than a hard drive, which is why active programs are loaded into RAM. Page 30
