5 UHC2030 s Contribution to SDG process Added value of UHC2030 as a multi-stakeholder partnership: 1. Coordinate annual International UHC Day campaigns with multi-stakeholder partners to maintain the political momentum of UHC both global and country level. 2. Support countries to strengthen multi-stakeholder engagement in VNRs that feed into the HLPF in Contribute to planning for HLM-UHC in 2019, facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement to feed into the political declaration. We propose and promote that the HLM-UHC declaration could advocate for the following 7 points:
6 What are potential added values of HLM-UHC to complete the missing pieces? SDG Progress Report 2019: Increased data availability and effective use of SDG Indicators and (i.e. service coverage & financial protection); HLPF2019/2020 Thematic Review & VNRs process: Strengthened domestic multi-stakeholder accountability mechanisms that feed into SDG3 official accountability processes, including the VNRs & thematic review for HLPF; Action Plan for SDG3: Reaffirm the opportunity of UHC as an overarching umbrella for achieving SDG3, with greater collaboration and harmonization across sub-sectoral health constituencies at country and global levels; FfD AAA & UN-HLC on Health Employment and Economic Growth & Health SDG Price tag: Promote more domestic public financing for health & better alignment of health investments to achieve health related SDGs; Global Compact for progress towards UHC: Support key principle of UHC2030 & joint vision; Political Declaration & UHC Menu: Emphasize quality & integrated people-centered health services & strong referral system to increase effective coverage; FPGH resolutions: Sustainable financing mechanisms for universal health coverage (RES/2012) and Addressing the health of the most vulnerable for an inclusive society (RES/2017).
