7 Road Map for SEZ-6 Facility as 3 Star Rated Building Reference to BEE Benchmark Zero investment Initiatives Gurgaon SEZ-6 is defined under composite Climate zone as per BEE- Energy Conservation Building Code. Facility is 10 years old with minimal automation but it presently matches to BEE standards of Three-Star rated building with more than 80% of the space is airconditioned. Objective Achieve SEC equivalent to 4 Star rated Building by Year 2019 Road map to 4 Star Rated Building To achieve set objective in coming years, we have planned various Energy Conservation projects like retrofit of old conventional AC units, Retrofit of CFL/T5 light fittings to LED, Retrofit of UPS to Modular UPS in year 2018 to year

8 Energy Saving project FY 2015 UPS consolidation/optimization Zero Investment Initiative Consolidation/Optimization of UPS Load by removing 60 KVA UPS One 60 KVA UPS disconnected from the circuit as running load on all UPS(60KVAX3) was only 25-30%. 9 Energy Saving project FY 2016 HVAC optimization- Zero Investment Initiative Earlier Ductable AC dedicated for Cafeteria was being running 9 hrs. in a day,subsequently we had patched cafeteria duct with builder central AHU consequently now we need to run the same ductable AC only for peak hrs. (11:00-16:00) i.e. 4 to 5 hrs. instead 9hrs Unit Savings: kwh/yr Cost saving : INR/yr 9

10 Energy Saving projects in FY 2017 Pull cord switch Installation Earlier 30 no's lights (14*4) near by façade area was operational for 12 hrs. even without presence of associates & more lux level available than required. subsequently we have installed pull cord switches on all lights near façade glass & educated associates to use the same as & when required. Resulting found reduction in energy consumption Pull cord Unit Savings: 2439 kwh/yr Cost Savings: INR/yr 10

11 Energy Saving projects in FY 2017 Migration of all warm white light to cool white light We have migrated all lights (14watt *4) from warm white to cool white, and by doing this we succeed to achieve the expected lux level in less count of the lights consequently now only we are managing expected lux level with 1500 lights(14watts*4) as earlier this count was Unit Savings: 4066 kwh/yr Cost Savings: INR/yr 11

13 Energy Saving projects in FY 2017 Optimization of UPS Load - Zero Investment Initiative 10 KVA UPS disconnected from the circuit as running load on said UPS was less so we transferred load on another Existing 60KVA UPS which was running with 40% load Unit Savings: 1900 kwh/yr Cost Savings: kwh/yr AMC Cost Savings:7916 INR/yr 13 Optimization of AHU running - Zero Investment Initiative In weekends AHU was running from 8:00 Hrs to 14:00Hrs even after non-availability of associates, we had stopped to run AHU during weekend about 6 hrs every week and save much more energy consumption Unit Savings: 8064 kwh/yr Cost Savings: INR/yr

15 Innovative Projects in FY 2017 Pull cord switch Installation Installation of Pull cord switch on 2x2 light fittings near façade glass The revealed area where the pull cord has been installed was having sun light access through façade. Lux level on those seats were more than 400lumens during day time. During Training session of E&M team this problem statement was raised & afterward we came up with solution of pull cord switch Therefore we had installed pull cord switch so that it can be operated as & when required. 16 Innovative Projects in FY 2017 Migration of Halogen lights to Recessed down lights During review of site Energy consumption Trend, it has been observed that lighting is one of top three major consumption equipment & in this we were using halogen lights(50w) which was of high wattage compare to other lights.
