9 Energy conservation projects Investment based Initiative UPS retrofit:- 2X120 KVA & 6 X 60 KVA Conventional UPS were retrofit on with 3X150 KVA Modular UPS to achieve UPS savings. 18 Innovation in projects implemented (Adiabatic Cooling system for chillers) Adiabatic cooling system for Chillers: on Due to high ambient temperature, it is hard to cool the high pressure - high temperature refrigerant which flows through the condenser coil of the chiller. In the air-cooled type Chiller, if we can reduce the temperature of the intake air, which is coming to the condenser coil and take heat from high temperature refrigerant, up to 4 to 5 deg. C, the efficiency of the chiller on higher side. The Condenser coil is provided with ADIABATIC COOLING SYSTEM for better cooling of the high pressure - high temperature refrigerant in the condenser coil. 19 Retrofit of High wall Split AC and ODC lights Old 2X36 W light fittings (200 nos.) replaced with 3X13 T5 Wipro Light fittings on 17/12/15 By this light set replacement we have achieved a savings of KWH in a year Old hi wall split AC units have been replaced with Inverter type energy efficient AC on 04/01/2016 which leads to a saving of KWH in X36W PL fittings with 3X13W T5 fittings Old hi-wall split AC with inverter type split 19

20 GHG Inventorisation Replacement of chiller. Phased out R22(CFC) by R132a (HFC) by chiller replacement. Replacement of Spilt Ac. By this process old split ACs with R22 refrigerant (CFC) is replaced with new units of R410a (HFC) gas. This refrigerant is better than R-22 in terms of Ozone Depletion potential and energy efficiency, Installation of 1250 KVA DG Set was done on 2015, which reduces the carbon particle emission from the old DG set.
