2 Sustainability is the new norm According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), global emissions of greenhouse gases grew more quickly between 2000 and 2010 than in each of the three previous decades (April 2014). In Transparency International's 2013 Corruption Perceptions Index around twothirds of the 177 participating countries scored below 50 on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (highly clean). No country scored clean. According to the Global esustainability Initiative (GeSI) Smarter 2020 report, ICT can cut global emissions by 16,5%, which is more than seven times the sector s own footprint. 2

3 Code of Conduct our guiding star Our Code of Conduct is based on the United Nations Global Compact principles (signatory since 2010) for environmental care, human rights, labor rights and anticorruption, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. These values are implemented throughout our operations and value chain. To facilitate management of specific corporate responsibility areas we have separate CR Rules under the Code of Conduct: Supplier Code of Conduct Rule Anti-corruption Rule Competition Law Compliance Rule Environmental Rule 3

5 We base our CR on stakeholder engagement In 2013, 281 people from our stakeholders participated in a public crowd-sourcing arranged by Tieto to help us understand our CR impact. Based on their input and internal workshops we have renewed our CR materiality and long-term CR plan. CR discussions are held on continuous basis with customers as well as investors.

Member of two other sustainability indices: Kempen SNS Smaller Europe Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) Index OMX GES Sustainability Finland Index 12

17 Data centres supporting society and environment Management of energy efficiency, recycling of electronic equipment and disposal of waste and liquids is a natural part of our data centre operations. In 2013, our Espoo data centre recycled 53% of its total energy use and distributed it to local households in Espoo, thereby helping to reduce local CO 2 emissions by more than tons. In Stockholm, we managed to recycle11% of total energy use in data centres. 17
