49 Infrared Sensors & Systems Thermal Detectors Uncooled Thermal Detectors DRS Infrared s thermal imaging detectors boast superior image quality with frame rates up to 60 frames per second. These uncooled, Vanadium Oxide (VOx), long-wave infrared (LWIR) detectors are available in a variety of resolutions, pixel pitches, and packaging options for both ruggedized and low cost applications. Cooled Thermal Detectors Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) sensors developed by DRS operate at extraordinarily high temperatures. The high operating temperature infrared technology enables the detector to be cooled only to 110 K.
