3 Today's Presenter Doug Yon P.E. CEM CEP Doug Yon, P.E., CEM, CEP, is a project manager with Facility Engineering Associates (FEA) who brings more than 25 years of experience with energy management, facilifes management, condifon assessments, and construcfon management projects. Doug s professional experience began as a facility and energy manager in higher educafon and confnued while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He confnues to work in the built environment with building and facility owners, managers, and operators. As a registered professional mechanical engineer and CerFfied Energy Manager, Doug s responsibilifes include: resolving building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system issues; conducfng ASHRAE level energy audits; ENERGY STAR validafons; and LEED/sustainability assessments. His experience in energy management also includes energy services contracfng, uflity demand side management, and government sponsored energy programs. Doug is also a CerFfied Energy Procurement Professional and has helped guide facility managers through the energy purchasing opfons and reviewing energy purchase agreements. Project Manager Facility Engineering Associates Doug also provides technical and project management support for facilifes related consulfng services with a focus on: infrastructure and facility condifon assessments; staffing, operafons, and maintenance planning; CMMS and equipment inventories; and Capital planning and management program development addressing total cost of ownership deferred maintenance, and reserve planning. Doug has assisted with the design, development and construcfon of energy- savings- driven MEP projects, such as solar domesfc water heafng, ice storage, chiller replacement, building automafon systems, lighfng retrofits, and energy- efficient window treatments.
