3 An Elegant Setting The Carnegie Conference Center features more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space, including four meeting rooms, a reception foyer with garden patio, and a business center. The state-of-the-art conference center is designed for comfort and accessibility. Key features include: Audiovisual services, including audio recording, videoconferencing capabilities, large-projection screens, and Internet access. 4 Meeting Rooms Root Room is the largest available space in the conference center and can accommodate 15 to 250 guests, depending on the room arrangements. Choate Room, on the first floor, can seat 15 to 95 people and is often used for press conferences. Shotwell Room, which seats 14, is a setting for a board meeting or small meeting that requires privacy and elegance. Butler Room seats 20 and creates an ideal breakout room for larger meetings. The Foyer and Patio offer an elegant space for receptions up to 200 people. Natural lighting, original artwork, and soaring ceilings create a dramatic space, adjacent to an outdoor patio. The Choate Room opens into a lovely foyer for receptions and registration.

7 An Ideal Location Located off Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C., the Carnegie Conference Center is easily accessible to hotels, public transportation, and commercial cab and limousine services. The Dupont Circle Metro stop is one block away, and four public parking garages are near our main entrance. Union Station is minutes away via cab or Metro, giving access to Amtrak and MARC trains. The Conference Center is 20 minutes from Reagan National Airport, 50 minutes from Dulles Airport, and 35 minutes from Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
