2 Scheduling Update: Panduit Sessions at Today s Kendall Technology Summit T68 Panduit - The Industrial Network Infrastructure, Your Future Business Foundation Industrial network infrastructure is a valuable business asset. Investments in legacy industrial networks require a clear migration path to optimize return on assets while not missing out on performance enhancements from new technologies. A robust, well-executed physical layer is foundational to this asset continuing to deliver value. Rapidly emerging technology advances like the Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor Networks, Power over Ethernet and Time Sensitive Networking can leverage your network more fully, given a little education and judicious planning. These advances are discussed to define their function, fit in industrial applications and time capability. Using real time network health metrics to understand current sate performance, rapidly address problems and identify performance improvements is a best-in-class competency. Choices you make today ensure the future viability of the network. This session focuses on essential knowledge and tactics in current, near future, and distant future time domains that guide your network plans. It also suggests resources and strategies to assist you in assess, design, deploy and maintain. T87 Panduit - Best Practice ANSI/TIA 1005-A Physical Layer Deployment Strategy Harmonizing TIA language with international standards from ISO, IEC and CENELEC leads to a simplified/efficient TIA structured physical communication infrastructure deployment that ensures higher performance, security, and longevity. This session focuses on TIA network deployments standards, how to design an infrastructure that adheres to M.I.C.E standard without overspending, performance expectations, and end-user s benefits. 2

The Partner needs to be a Panduit ONESM Industrial Automation Infrastructure partner accredited in the Deploy competency. In order to receive an IA warranty, all Panduit IA components and General Cable s IA cable must be used for an IA installation. Must access the MICE (Mechanical, Ingress, Climatic/Chemical, Electromagnetic) environment of the installation, and verify that the components used are rated for the application environment (Reference the ANSI/TIA 1005 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Industrial Premises). The installation needs to be tested to TIA/EIA standards including the ANSI/TIA 1005 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Industrial Premises. 54
