1 How to delete audio tracks from clips? Posted by - 03 Jun :21 Hello, I'm trying to combine two clips using the dve effect, but when I combine and export them, the audio lags (I'm not combining the audio, just using the audio from one of them). This doesn't happen when I just export the regular clip with the audio, so I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong. One thing I'm trying is to delete the audio that I'm not using from the clip before adding it to the edit (before I was just deselecting the audio tracks, but I want to make absolutely sure by deleting them). However, when I try to delete the audio tracks, lightworks tells me "can only delete tracks from the record machine." Unfortunately, I don't know what this means, and I don't understand why lightworks wouldn't let me delete one of the tracks. Anyone know what this error means or how to get around it? 2 Posted by donkpow - 13 Jul :21 The error message means that you can only delete audio from the record machine. I assume you are trying to delete audio in the source machine. I didn't read all your post, though. I guess you're right, but it's annoying sitting around looking for 15 minutes for just a simple answer without having to watch I video I know 99% how to do. Anyway, the problem is solved now. Usually these questions arise because a user doesn't fully understand the overall process and they are unaware that tutorials are available. These videos are pretty short, in this case the video is less than 8 mins long.
