1 User Manual for Uploading Service Voters Details Election Commission of India Requirements: Device supporting internet connectivity with UI like computer, mobile. Internet connectivity with browser. Step 1 URL for Service Voter Portal Servicevoter.nic.in. Use this URL in your browser, following home screen will appear. Step 2 Login: Here Nodal officer enters username and password and click login button.

2 Step 3 You will be redirected to the Instructions for Uploading Data. Step 4 To enlist the Record office, click on Record Office available on top of Home page. Fill the details. Save the entry using Save button. Saved Record office can be seen under the List of Record Office on same page. If you want to edit or delete the existed Record Office, click on Edit/ Delete option under Action heading.

3 Step 5 To enlist the Unit office, click on Unit Office available on top of Home page. Select the Record office from dropdown list and fill other details. Save the entry using Save button. Saved Unit office can be seen under the List of Unit Office on same page. Step 6 To upload XML, click on Upload XML available on top of Home page. Select Record Office from dropdown list. Then select Unit office from dropdown list. To choose the XML file from local, click on Browse button.

4 One popup window named File Upload will appear. Choose XML file and click Open. To check the records available in XML file, click on Show Record button. All the records available in XML will appear under List of Records of Service Personnel. Total number of records of service voter available in XML file can also be seen in red color. Click on Upload File to Server button to upload the Service voters details available in XML file in the server. After successful Updation click on Download Acknowledgement to download acknowledgement.

5 Click on download Acknowledgement and new page will open from where you can download acknowledgement for uploaded XML files. Step 7: Click on Convert Image tab and a new form will open, select voter image to be converted to Base64String, and click on convert to Base64String. Your image will be converted to Base64String. Copy the generated Base64String and paste into XML file. Inside <VoterImage> paste string here<//voterimage>

7 (Entry will be done by Record Officer/Unit Officer whoever is applicable) Step 8 Click on Form(s) option and select Form 2 (Statement as to place of Ordinary Residence by a member of the Armed Forces). Fill all the details and click on submit. (All fields are mandatory).

8 Step 9 Click on Form(s) option and select Form 2A (Statement as to place of Ordinary Residence by a member of the Armed police force of a State, who is serving outside that State). Fill all the details and click on submit. (All fields are mandatory).

9 Step 10 Click on Form(s) option and select Form 3 (Statement as to place of Ordinary Residence by a Person employed under Government of India in a post outside India). Fill all the details and click on submit. (All fields are mandatory).
