3 01 INTRODUCTION Thank you for using DBS IDEAL, we appreciate your support. We continually strive to make IDEAL more powerful, more secure and easier to use. Every enhancement is designed to achieve these objectives, and thus make online banking faster, simpler and smarter. This release, we have made several upgrades that include: New Mandatory Alerts for added protection on higher risk transactions Usability enhancements such as educational tooltips and a brand new approval workflow to make IDEAL easier to use Upgrades to Cheque Inquiry functions (for Singapore only) We are confident that you will benefit from these improvements. 02 WHAT S NEW 2.1 New / Mandatory Alerts We are introducing 2 new mandatory alerts that will be sent via both SMS and e-mail.

4 02 WHAT S NEW 2.1 New / Mandatory Alerts We are introducing 2 new mandatory alerts that will be sent via both SMS and . This is to provide you with added protection on higher risk transactions and transaction approvals. Create Outward Telegraphic Transfer (OTT) Alert Users who create Telegraphic Transfers will receive this alert via both SMS & . Transaction Post Approval Alert Authorisers who approve a transaction will receive this alert via both SMS and . When a transaction has been approved by the respective User ID. If an Authoriser approves multiple payments at once, only one alert per Account and Payment Type combination will be sent. If a transaction is approved by an Offline Approver on behalf of an Authoriser, the alert will be sent by both SMS & to the respective Authoriser. Release Notes March

2.2 Select an Approver User can now have the option to select specific approvers for each transaction. You can choose to alert the selected approver via SMS or email.
