3 HOW TO FIND THE ONLINE CUSTOMER CENTRE. go to our website, and select the Customer login button. NOTE: If you have already registered and want to know how to sign in to the Customer Centre, please turn to page 9 of this guide.

4 Starting the registration process. select the Register button. TIP: There is a also video guide on this web page which talks you through the registration process (See arrow ). 3

5 STEP : YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. enter your forename, surname and date of birth.. enter your postcode and select Find address, or enter your address manually. 3. Enter your contact details. 4. To help speed up the registration process, please enter one of your account numbers. 5. if any of your accounts are held by a company or trust, tick the box and enter the name. If you are not sure do not tick this box. 6. Select Continue. 4 3 TIP: If you are unsure what you need to enter for your account number, take a look at the help text on the right of the webpage. Examples of accounts that are held by a company include self invested personal pensions (SIPP), small self-administered schemes (SSAS), or offshore bond products. Accounts held in trust are typically named The Trustees of, or similar. If you hold more than one position on accounts held with us (for example an investor on one policy and a trustee on another) you will need a separate online account for each position you hold

6 STEP : Verify your identity To keep your financial information secure, we need to verify your identity by asking for details from your UK driving licence, UK passport, or a recent electricity bill.. select the image of the document you are using.. if you do not have any of these forms of identification, tick the box indicated by the arrow. You will need to contact us at the end of the registration process. You will need to make a note of the reference number that will be displayed to you on the final screen (see page 8). 3. enter the required details from the document, such as your drivers licence number. 4. select Continue

7 STEP 3: ACCESS INFORMATION. select an image and enter a memorable word or phrase that you will recognise each time you log in. NOTE: Every time you sign in, we will display the image you have chosen, and your memorable word or phrase. This is to reassure you that you have reached the genuine website. 6

8 STEP 3: ACCESS INFORMATION (cont). enter a username, password and confirm your password. The characters you can to use for your username and password are: A to Z in upper and lower case Numbers 0 to (full stop) - (hyphen) _ (underscore)! 3. enter a question and answer of your choice. We may ask you this security question should you need your password reset, for example. 4. select Continue

9 Confirmation Your details have been sent to us and we will send you an confirmation. To complete your registration and activate your account, click on the link on the . In some circumstances we may ask you to call us on a Freephone number to complete your registration. 8

10 HOW TO SIGN IN. go to our website, and select CUSTOMER LOGIN.. enter your username and select Sign in. TIP: If you need a reminder of what to enter, select Forgotten your username? and we will send it to you in an . 9

11 HOW TO SIGN IN (cont) 3. Check that the image and memorable phrase you chose at registration are displayed to ensure you are signing in to our genuine site. 4. Enter your password. 5. select Sign in to be taken to My accounts Tip: Use Forgotten your password? to reset your password. 0

12 MY ACCOUNTS PAGE: overview. You can change your security information and address using My details.. The total value of your accounts is shown in this section. If you have one account, the graph will show the funds that you have invested in. 3. use Personalise your account to give it a specific name to help you identify it in the online Customer Centre; for example University fund. 4. if you have multiple accounts they are listed here. 5. select View your account for a more detailed valuation and fund information and to instruct fund switch transactions You can also view documentation from here for the following accounts: ISA Collective Investment Account (CIA) Collective Investment Bond (CIB) Collective Retirement Account (CRA).
