1 SCOPING TASTER SESSIONS - Case CATalyst and Eclipse Scoping may be the future for you! There is a worldwide shortage of Scopists. This could be an "in" to working and BIVR is serious about having a Scopist qualification. See the Resolutions we will be discussing at the AGM! Please let me know if you wish to take an active part in these sessions as you will need to download the softwares (yes, both) beforehand so that w are ready to go at 9:30 a.m. Each software, CC and Eclipse will be show in separate sessions, but we will then come together for a joint session. Hope that makes sense! Therefore, you may "taste" both softwares. As some of you may already have one of these softwares, you will only need to download the alternate one. However, some of you may need both. Let me hear from you soonest, please. You should bring your laptop computer and a set of headphones. You may still sit in these "taster" workshops without your computer, but you will derive more benefit if you have some hands-on experience. Plus revised Early Bird date until - Tomorrow - 30 August Please let me know that you are attending the workshops - which begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m. We are taking lunch at 1 p.m., followed by the AGM at 2-4 p.m. Lunch is only being provided for those who book the whole day workshops. The revision has been caused by our proposed speaker not after all being and the lady we have now booked can only attend, via Skype, at the earlier time. Gina has tremendou insight on knowing the value of yourself in not only the reporting profession but also all aspects of life. When she s not tapping on her steno machine, Gina is also a TedX speaker who specialises in empowering women and men from the inside and out of the box. From a reporter s perspective, Gina will talk about knowing your worth, asking for what you want, and giving us some helpful guidance in this area. 13:00 14:00 LUNCH

6 Signed this day of 20." Examination Sunday Examinations on Sunday 10 September 2017 QRR So far I have only heard from three people regarding taking examinations on Sunday morning. We need to have a minimum of 10 people on the Sunday to cover the cost of hiring the room. Therefore, if you wish to take a QRR exam on the Sunday, please let me know now! I need to confirm the booking with the venue, or cancel it soonest. As soon as I have sufficient numbers I can then send you an invoice so that you can pay for them.
