1 Enrolling Android Devices onto AirWatch Note: All Android o/s differ slightly depending on manufacturer and provider therefore as it isn t possible to give exact instruction for all flavors of Android, we give a generic overview, but give this warning that your steps may differ slightly You will now have received your Welcome from AirWatch containing your account credentials and instruction on the steps to take. If you have lost/misplaced or was never received, this it can be resent on request. First you must download and install the AirWatch MDM Agent from the Google Play Store You can do this in 2 ways Go to the Google App Store, search for AirWatch MDM then download and install it. Use a QR Code scanner on the QR code square in the Welcome , this will automatically take you to the correct location in the App store then download and install it. ** Recommended QR Code scanner Apps are: Scan life & QR Code Reader ** Once the AirWatch MDM Agent/App is installed on your device you will need to open it and complete the following actions to enrol your device. Now, open the Welcome you received from AirWatch on your PC/Laptop so you can view the information & credentials required to complete the enrollment. On your device, there are now 2 methods you can select to Enrol your device (Note: We do not use the Address option ) 1. Manual Configuration Selecting Server Details Ignore the Address option and click on the Server Details button, then add the Server & Group ID information as indicated in your Welcome . When completed, click Continue

2 (Note: The Group ID will change depending on which Region a user is located i.e. A UK based user will be AC_EMEA, an Australian user will be AC_APAC and a Canadian user will be AC_NASA). Once this step is completed jump direct to the Completing the Enrolment section below. 2. QR Code Scanner Select the button. From your Laptop/PC open the AirWatch Welcome . Select the QR Code button. Position your device so the camera aims at your Welcome and adjust the distance away until the QR Scanner accepts the QR code Once this step is completed jump direct to the Completing the Enrolment section below. Completing the Enrolment Add your username ( your internet address i.e. joe.bloggs@xx.atlascopco.com ) and your current Active Directory password (usually the password you use to logon to Windows) Once you have authenticated yourself. You will be prompted to specify whether you are using an Employee Owned (personal) or Corporate (company owned) device. You will note there are 2 Corporate options, please only select Corporate Dedicated if you have a Corporate device. (Note: A company owned or corporate device is a device that was paid by the company, either directly or through re-imbursement. An employee owned or personal device is a device that was paid by the end-user. For more details you can consult the Mobile Device Policy in The Way We Do Things.) Next, you will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions. These terms and conditions reflect the Mobile Device Policy as specified in The Way We Do Things. Until you accept these T&C s your device will be unable to connect to Atlas Copco data. [ A better way to view the full Terms & Conditions is by using the link below where it is posted on our Wiki: To complete the enrollment, accept and install any profiles that are pushed to your device. The installation of these profiles might imply that you need to change/update your passcode(s). You will be prompted if required.

3 Once successfully installed the AirWatch MDM Agent on your device will display an overview of your device and it s compliance to our Group standards. If you touch any of the arrows >, you will see further information about your device and the AirWatch service If you require a new Welcome , simply request your local IT Service Desk to re-send the mail. Please be aware at the end of this document there is a section detailing how to Un-Enroll ios devices from AirWatch if it is needed. Atlas Copco App Catalog/Store. The Atlas Copco App catalog will now be installed on your device. This will allow you to access and download Internal Atlas Copco & Public Apps that you may need.

4 NOTE: The next section Configuring on the AirWatch controlled device should only be used AFTER your Corporate has been migrated from Notes to Outlook. If you are not yet migrated, the required actions are now completed. Removal of existing Corporate account. ( Traveler ) If you have already set up your corporate (Notes) on the device and currently use our Traveler service, you will need to remove the corporate account prior to configuring your new Outlook connection. To remove the existing Traveler corporate Notes account, follow these steps from the Android device: To uninstall Traveler from your device, you must first disable the device administrator. select Apps > Settings > More > Security After you have disabled the Lotus Notes Traveler device administrator, you can use the operating system to remove Lotus Notes Traveler, by navigating to: Menu > Settings > More > Application manager and selecting Uninstall Configuring on the AirWatch controlled device. AirWatch can only connect to our Corporate Outlook system. Therefore as part of the project to migrate a user to o365 (Outlook) each user that requires mobile access to will be sent information about the changes required and, at the point of migration to Outlook, AirWatch will send an profile down to the enrolled device(s) of each user.

5 For most Android types, as long as the device is enrolled onto AirWatch, the profile will configure the connection to the users Outlook mailfile and the user will have to take little or no other actions other than providing an authentication password when prompted. However for a small number of Android device types additional actions will need to be taken and the account configured manually. Prompted for authentication password: Goto the device s native solution. On entry you should be shown a username & password authentication window, simply add your username ( address) and password and you should then have access to your corporate . Manual setup of account: If you are not prompted for your authentication, you will need to add the account manually. To do this goto Settings Accounts Add Account. The default information should be ok other than you will need to set your username ( address), password and set the server setting to outlook.office365.com and follow the reset of the account process. Note: There are 2 types of user access to Outlook and depending which type you fall into will dictate which password is being requested. You should be aware of which type you are as you would need to be aware of this when you first connect to Outlook from your desktop pc. Standard User If you fall into this group you will need to use your current Active directory password (used to log on to Windows). VIP User If you fall into this group you will need to use your 16 digit MFA/App code password. This password would have been created when you first connected to Outlook from your desktop pc. During the initial configuration of you may receive an stating your device has temporarily been blocked from Exchange Active Sync (Outlook). This is normal, and will only effect the device for 5 10 minutes whilst the device it activating/configuring, at which point it will be released and normal usage will be possible. access is only possible on an AirWatch enrolled device and via the native solution for that device. The use of the OWA App is not permitted within Atlas Copco and access to it is restricted and enforced by rules on the Exchange online/outlook service.

6 Un-Enrolling Android Devices from AirWatch. To un-enroll AirWatch from your device open the AirWatch MDM Agent, select the Menu option for your device, and then Select Un-enrol. Follow the prompts that appear and you will eventually complete the un-enrolment and will be left with the original AirWatch Agent that waits to be enrolled. If you no longer require an AirWatch account, inform your local IT Service Desk so your account can be removed from the server.
