1 Installation Guide for Android Revision v4.02, November 29th 2016 Guide AirWatch Agent setup Before you begin, please make sure that you: 1. You need a Google Account. If you haven t already, you can create an account from your device or sign up here: 2. Perform initial setup on your Android device, including Google Play. 3. You need more than 80% battery on the device. 4. You also have the AC power supply to your mobile device. 5. Follow the instructions below. Screenshots may vary depending on device model. By following this guide, you will improve the security for your mobile device for both private and enterprise use, in addition to higher usability. 2 STEP 1: Remove existing account If your Statoil account is set up on your device, please delete it before enrolling into AirWatch (Settings/Accounts/Exchange Activesync/Statoil.com account/remove account). AirWatch configures your Statoil account in the next step. STEP 2: Setup 2.01 Start Chrome browser on your device Navigate to and then click on Go to appstore Choose Google Play if you are asked about application to open the link with Tap on Install and wait for the app to download and install. 3 2.04 Tap OPEN Tap ADDRESS 2.06 Type in your Statoil mail address and tap on Continue 2.07 Tap Allow NOTICE: The purpose of is to secure the operating system and applications on the device. Not under any circumstance are Statoil able to read account information, , files, SMS, pictures, videos or other privately related content 2.08 Type in your Statoil mail and your Statoil password, and tap sign in Click Continue in the Multi-Factor Authentication screen to send a verification SMS to your mobile phone To complete your verification, enter the 6-digit one-time passcode you received on SMS and click Authenticate. 4 2.10 Tap Get started Tap Continue Tap Activate. Go directly to step 2.19, if you don t have a HTC, LG, Samsung or Sony device Tap Device Settings Enable allow Unknown sources, confirm OK and hit back button. 5 2.16 Tap Next (this step may vary between device models) Tap Install and Open, or wait a few seconds to confirm that app is installed Tap Activate This is Samsung privacy policy. 6 2.22 Tap OK. It may go directly to next step only after a few seconds. If you already have an encrypted device, go directly to Tap Device Settings Tap PIN and choose a 4 digits code and confirm the PIN. Depending on software version some devices asks for at least 6 characters. If required tap Password and choose at least 6 characters containing at least 1 number and confirm the password Tap Device Settings First, Connect device to a charger. 7 2.28 Confirm encryption by tapping Encrypt device The mobile device will now reboot and start to encrypt the storage space. This may take a little while 2.30 Enter Pin or Password to confirm encryption. Then log on to the device with PIN or Password and then finally your PIN-code (for SIM-card) to start the device Tap Continue Start installing the applications. 9 2.40 Hit the Home button on your device Tap on Inbox or Outlook mail client for 0365 users 2.42 Type your Statoil password Tap on Browser for access to Statoil intranet and teamsites 2.48 Hit the Home button on your device. Your Device is configured and ready to use!
