1 P a g e 1 Log In To Your Participant Center In order to utilize the features of your fundraising account such as sharing your link, sending out updates and more, you need to be logged in to your fundraising account. If you are not logged in, you can follow the simple steps below to do so. To log in to your account, click on your personal fundraising page link that was ed to you or go to and enter your log in information. You can also click the Log In Using One Of Your Preferred Sites button and login with your social media account.
2 P a g e 2 Once you are logged in, click on the Participant Center button. This will bring you to the homepage of your account which is called the Participant Center. Once you are logged in, the Participant Center is always available by clicking on the Participant Center button at the top of your screen.
3 Personalizing and Sending Out s P a g e 3 Sending s through your Participant Center is one of the most effective ways to raise donations and support. You can send out s to a group of friends and family, keep track of who has opened your or responded, follow up with those who have not responded and thank those who have all from one central location. Click on the tab.
4 P a g e 4 Choose an Template based on the type of you would like to send. Send Thank You s to all of your donors. Send Recruiting s to anyone that you would like to join your team. Send Solicitation s to friends and family asking people to donate to your page Use the Other s to write your own We will choose Solicitation for this example, but the process is the same for each of the templates.
5 P a g e 5 The Solicitation template message will appear. Customize the message as desired and hit Next. The first time you send a message from the Participant Center, you need to create a list of recipients to send it out to. Once you have added these into the Participant Center Contacts, they will remain there for you to use for future s: Adding contacts can be done in two ways: -Clicking add contact and manually entering the contact information -Clicking import contacts and to import addresses from your account
6 P a g e 6 To manually enter contacts, type in the First Name, Last Name and address of your contact and then click Add. The name will apear in the recipient list. Once you have added as many names as you would like, click Next.
7 P a g e 7 To add an already existing contact list, click import contacts. Click your provider and then hit Next. For this example we are going to use Google but the process is the same for Yahoo If your is neither google nor Yahoo, then skip to page 10.
8 P a g e 8 Once arriving at this page, a popup window may appear asking for permission. If so, click Allow to allow Team Raiser to access your contact list If the popup window does not appear then click Display Consent Pop-Up text located on the middle right side. This will make the popup window appear.
9 P a g e 9 After giving consent for use of your list, this page will appear. Click Next to go on the next part. Click Import all or Import some and choose which s you would like to add. Click Next.
10 Review the list on the contacts and press Finish when completed. P a g e 10
11 P a g e 11 The newly imported list will appear under available contacts along with any contacts that were manually entered. Skip to page 12 to continue. NOTE: The contacts in your Available Contacts list are available for you to send s to. For the people you would like to send the to, click on the box located to the left of the contact s name and they will be moved to the Recipient List. If you click the box next to the header Name, all your contacts will be selected.
12 P a g e 12 For services that are not Yahoo or Google you must download the contact list into a.cvs file. To see how to export your list see the correspondng link below. Outlook Apple/Mac Mail Export-Contacts-from-Mac-Mail AOL After downloading the contact list, save it in an easily accessable folder. Click the File Based import for box located at the bottom left side of the page. A new window will open up, click the contact.cvs file and then hit Open
13 P a g e 13 Hit the Next botton to continue. The newly imported list will appear under available contacts along with any contacts that were manually entered. NOTE: The contacts in your Available Contacts list are available for you to send s to. For the people you would like to send the to, click on the box located to the left of the contact s name and they will be moved to the Recipient List. If you click the box next to the header Name, all your contacts will be selected.
