1 Headquarters Start by logging in to your profile There are two ways to log in to your headquarters at the top of the page. 1. Hover over Fundraising Tools and click on Log In to Your Headquarters OR 2. Click on Sign In You will be able to login or request login info if forgotten
2 TABS within your headquarters My HQ Tab This is the main tab. A summary of your fundraising and statistics can be viewed at a glance.
3 MY WEBPAGE tab Edit your personal page from this tab. If you are the team captain, you will also be able to edit your team page and team s general donation page from the subheader Update the photo or logo on your page. Select pre-written text for your page or enter your own to the left Choose a theme from the available backgrounds. When done making changes preview your page. If you like it, click submit to save changes.
4 Add a Photo: Click on Select to view standard photos or to use Autism Speaks Logo. Click on Upload to browse your personal photos. (see below for instructions) Note: photo size must be 50k or less.
5 To upload a photo from your computer, click Browse Browse your files for photo, select and click Open
6 Click Submit The photo will show in My Image Library but will look stretched. This is normal. Click here to return at the bottom of the screen to view your page.
7 Click Submit at the bottom to save changes when done. You can display 2 photos side by side. Run through previous process to upload a 2 nd photo. Both photos will show in My Image Library. 2 is the max that can be saved. If you would like to replace one of them with a new photo, click on Delete next to the photo and you will be able to upload a new one. Click here to return to view/save changes
8 Click Submit to save changes If you are a team captain, you will have the options to Edit Team Page and Edit Team Donation Page.
9 Add Webpage Text: Click Select to choose preset text from the template library or enter your own directly in the boxes. You can type your own message in this section Select text by clicking on radio button and then Submit.
10 Choose a Theme: Choose a theme for your page background from the drop down menu. Note: Standard is the default white background shown. Choose a Theme
11 Click Preview A new window will open. This is what your page will look like. Click Close Window.
12 Click Submit to save changes.
13 Tab From the tab you can send s, track history, manage your address book and import addresses from an outside application.
14 Address book Import. Important Notes: This step can be skipped by entering addresses manually. Before you IMPORT, you must EXPORT the file from your current program (Outlook Express used as the example below) STEP 1: Exporting. A. From your Outlook Express go to File, then Import and Export B. Select Export to a file and next
15 C. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows). Then click NEXT D. Select Contacts folder and click NEXT E. Select Browse and save the file to your computer
16 F. Select next G. Select Finish
17 STEP 2: Importing. A. From your Headquarters, Click on Address Book Import B. Select Comma Separated Values (CSV file) and click Next
18 C. Click Browse D. Find the file you exported in previous step. Select file and Open
19 E. Next F. Match all fields and hit Continue
20 G. Process Complete. It will tell you how many addresses were imported. Select Back to Event Management Menu to go back to your headquarters main page. To view address book or to begin sending s, go to your Center. There are a few places you can click to get there. 1. tab. 2. From My To Do List Send s to Friends and Family 3. From Statistics Send More s
21 Click on ADDRESS BOOK to view your address book or to select recipients. OR Manually enter Greeting ( Jane, Friends, etc) and addresses SUBJECT LINE: This is the subject of your . HIGHLIGHTED MESSAGE: Text entered here will show centered and bold at the top of the body of your . Templates: Select a template for the body of your message or start fresh with a blank page. When you are done, you can save your changes to be used again. Suggestion: Create your message in MS Word and paste into the body. This will let you use spell check and will give you as much time as you need to create your message without timing out of your session. SAVE AS: You can save the message you created to be used for future s. This will be saved as a private template only available in your Center. Preview your message before sending.
22 Address Book From your address book, you can manage contacts, view by pre-set groups, create personal mailing groups or select individuals for a mailing. Pre-set Groups Manage groups 1. Check boxes to select recipients of a new 2. Click Send to Selected Contacts
23 Address Book Groups Pre-Set Groups Create a New Group 1. Select contacts in your address book by checking the box 2. Click Create New Group Name your group Click Submit
24 The new group will show on your list Send an Select a group or individual contacts from your address book and click Send to Selected Contacts Select Greeting
25 Greeting and Recipient s will be filled out. Complete letter, preview and send After s are sent, a confirmation will show on screen with a list of addresses that is was sent to History Log All s sent through your HQ are traceable. If a recipient clicks on the link added to the by the system, your History Log will record the activity.
26 Reports Tab In your Reports section, you can view statistics for current and past events. Use View By: to switch between current and past event statistics Donation Report Donation detail will show at the bottom of the page. Remember that a registration will show as a ZERO amount transaction. This is normal. Export, Customize or Print the Donation Detail section: Export XLS: download a copy list to Microsoft Excel. Choose Columns: Add more detail (Address, , etc). Printable: will format the page to print list
27 General Team Donation Report (Team Captain Only) Donations made to the team as a whole will be shown in the General Team Donations section Team Participation Report (Team Captain Only) Team members, addresses and fundraising
28 Tools Tab Print Donation Form This will open as a pdf. Include one with each donation that is mailed or turned in at the walk. Edit Profile Update your profile, change goals, t-shirt size, notifications or team info.
29 Change your username and/or password Edit Login Assign Co-Captain (Team Captain Only) Select form your team member list Gadgets Tab Select the page you would like to copy the code for You can select Walker or Team Honor Roll or Thermometer.
30 Copy the code. Click the box so that it is highlighted, Right click and select COPY Personalize further (optional): If you would like to personalize the code, you can paste it into an open text editor or MS Word page. You are now ready to paste the code to your Networking Pages.
31 Facebook Log in to your Facebook page. Search for and get My Stuff application (Gigya My Stuff) Once in the application, paste the code you copied from your headquarters to the box provided.
32 Click on Add to profile The box will show up on your page. Both sets of code can be added to have the Scroll AND Thermometer (shown below). After you add one set of code, repeat steps to include the next section.
33 Add to Wall (most visible), Boxes Tab or My Stuff tab in your profile. Final example shown below
