1 ResWare Features Adeptive Softwareʼs flagship product, ResWare, is a revolutionary real estate transaction management system. More and more of the industryʼs leading companies are choosing ResWare. See for yourself by scheduling a demo!

2 ResWare Features: Home Page Each employee's Home Page is his or her central dashboard for all work activities and the heart of the ResWare reporting system. Each Home Page is unique, displaying the specific unique tasks that each employee needs to complete, the status of faxes sent, s, reminders and more. The Home Page organizes and focuses the employee on the tasks that need to be completed. Home Page Feature Highlights: Actions Due The employee's actions that must be accomplished today are displayed on their home page. The employee can filter actions to view just their own actions, or their team's actions. The employee can mark actions as being completed directly from the home page, without having to edit the customer file. Recently Accessed Customer Files Employees can view and open recently accessed customer files directly from their Home Page, allowing them to move quickly between files. Links Links to non-resware information that need to be accessed frequently phone lists, health insurance information or important Web sites are displayed on the employee's Home Page. File Summary The Home Page allows employees to view a summary of any customer file, even if it is being edited by another employee or is cancelled or closed. The summary contains all pertinent information, including dates, actions, notes, documents, partner contacts and payments. File Status Each customer file can be assigned a current Status, including Open, Trouble Low, Trouble Medium, Trouble High, Closed, Cancelled and Fall-thru. Each status can be assigned a specific color that visually notifies employees of trouble areas. Fax Log Employees can see the status and log of faxes recently sent right from their Home Page, allowing them to quickly see if a fax has been delayed or failed, avoiding frustration for both employees and fax recipients.

3 ResWare Features: Order Entry Depending on the source of the order, there are several methods by which they can be entered into the system. Create File Wizard A simple-to-use wizard interface walks employees through file creation, including selecting a product and its associated Action List, entering the Buyer/Borrower and/or Seller, property address and other partners relevant to the transaction. Website Orders can be entered by clients via the Web site. The client enters all known information and submits it into the system to begin processing. XML Automatic communication of new orders or updates can be facilitated with clients using XML. File Copy If a customer file exists in the same office or another office, it can be copied to a new file. This feature keeps distinct separation between offices, yet facilitates quick and error-free duplication of information.

4 ResWare Features: Action Items and Action Lists For a real estate business to run efficiently, specific milestones must be successfully executed correctly at the right time. In ResWare, we call each milestone an Action Item, and the total set of milestones an Action List. An Action Item is any task an employee needs to complete, such as sending a letter to a buyer or receiving a contract from an agent. Through the life cycle of the customer file, as Action Items become due, employees are prompted to complete them. ResWareʼs exclusive Action Lists leave very little room for important steps on files to be missed. From the moment the file is opened, Action Items are triggered, defining what needs to happen next. For instance, if an employee must confirm an order with a client two hours after the file has been opened, that Action Item will appear on the employee's home page immediately after the file has been opened. Action Lists are defined through an administrative interface and can be customized to meet the specific needs of your business and even different types of products. Action List Assignment An Action List is automatically generated and assigned to each customer file when it is created, dictating and organizing the set of tasks that need to be executed for the file to be completed. Individual employees are assigned roles in the file that correspond to tasks. These tasks appear on the employee's Personal Action List on their Home Page. Action List Modification Once a file has been created, the associated Action List can be modified to best fit the file, the employees and the workflow. Employees can add new actions, remove actions, change due dates, mark tasks complete and even attach notes and documents to individual Action Items.

5 ResWare Features: Vendor Management Vendor Management functionality is built in to ResWare. All partner, buyer, seller and client information is stored within the system. ResWare also features an advanced filtering technology that allows restrictions to be placed on partners. For example, if a client dictates that only a certain set of underwriters can be used on their files, then only those partners will appear in searches on that client's files. Partners can also be filtered by geographic area (per state or county) and per product and can be assigned a grade as well as a weighting, for even distribution of work. Attachment to Files Any partner can be attached to any customer file, making them visible in the main information screen. Partners on a file can have notes or documents sent to them, have checks cut to them and can be used in Excel and Word merge fields. Partner Administration ResWare features an extensive partner administration interface to allow easy editing, adding and merging of partner information. Partner Approval When new partners are entered, they can be placed in a queue for approval. Unapproved partners can be attached to customer files, but they cannot have checks cut to them until they are approved. Client Coverage Partners can be assigned to certain clients, meaning that a client specifically requests that only a given set of partners (for example, notaries) be used on their files. Changing a partner's coverage affects the files on which a partner will show up in a partner search. Geographic Coverage Specific partners can be designated to only perform services in certain counties or states. For example, a title company may only be licensed to do business in a certain state, or only certain counties within a state. Changing a partner's county coverage changes the files on which the partner will appear within a partner search. Preferred Vendors Have a vendor thatʼs leading the field? Show them to your employees as a Preferred Vendor. Any vendor can be assigned a preferred status, which will show their listing at the top of a partner search. Fees Fees can be specified for each partner, automatically adding those fees to the file when the partner is chosen.

6 ResWare Features: Document and Note Repository Documents can be scanned or sent electronically and then attached to customer files within ResWare. ResWare also has the ability to attach documents that are created via document templates. By design, ResWare becomes the central repository for all documents and communication regarding each customer file. All notes and messages that are sent from within ResWare are automatically attached to the appropriate customer file to ensure complete and accurate documentation. Incoming messages that have a valid file number in the subject line can also be automatically attached to the specified file. Document Attachment Any type of document can be attached to a file, classified into one of several categories and described. ResWare also allows files to be marked as Internal Only and such files are not viewable on the Web site. Files can also be sent via or fax, reclassified, viewed (both within the application and through the Web site) or removed, all without leaving ResWare. Note Attachment ResWare allows your employees to add notes at any time to any customer file. Notes can be marked as Internal Only so they canʼt be seen from the Web site, sent via or fax, viewed both within the application and through the website. Send Notes/Documents Notes and documents can be sent directly from ResWare to partners, internal users, entire teams or any address or fax number. The system keeps track of when notes and documents were sent, who sent them and to whom they were sent, eliminating the need for additional tracking. Word and Excel documents can be automatically converted to PDF files when they re sent. Notes Views Users can view the entire contents of all notes or a compressed summary view to quickly scan through all notes associated with a file. Incoming Attachments This component allows outside parties to send an to you with the file number in the subject line; the and its attachments will automatically be attached to the specified file.

7 ResWare Features: Searching and Reporting ResWare has several interfaces that allow employees to search for information. In addition, standard reports are available to quickly gather and summarize important business-related information and statistics. Partner Search Employees can search for partners by company name, abbreviation, partner type, employee names, location and ability of a partner to do business in a given county. Partner Rolodex An employee does not need to have a customer file open to search through the partner list, saving time by limiting context-switching. File Search Employees can search for customer files any way they like, including file number, client, status, team, coordinator, opening and closing dates, property address, partner, transacteee name and office. Action Item Search Employees can search for action items in a variety of ways, such as file status, action name, office, team, coordinator, due dates, and closing dates. This powerful interface gives both employees and managers the ability to keep track of what needs to get done. Audit Trail All customer files contain an audit trail that tracks actions that have taken place on a customer file. The audit trail is available as a record of who did what and when, eliminating finger pointing. Reporting Standard ResWare reports include: Order Summary, Customer Inventory, Monthly Reports, Report Card, HUD Report, Balance Audit, Trial Balance, 1099 Report and Receivables. Additional custom reports can be created by Adeptive Software or by the customer using SQL Server Reporting Services.

8 ResWare Features: Templates Microsoft Word and Excel templates can be created that will be auto-populated from information within ResWare. These Templates increase efficiency, ensure consistency and place all necessary data properly into documents. Templates This component allows employees to run previously created Excel/Word templates on the current customer file. The pertinent information from the file is automatically inserted into the proper location on the template. Word Sub-Templates & Hotkeys When inside Word, an employee can insert sub-templates defined within the system. Any merge fields inside the sub-template are automatically populated. In addition, sub-templates can be quickly inserted using hot-keys. Word and Excel Merge Fields Administrators can easily create Word or Excel templates that contain merge fields as well as create documents using the templates. The merge fields automatically extract information from the customer file being edited into the document with more than 300 merge fields to choose from. Additionally, custom fields and conditional fields can be inserted into Word documents to allow an employee to quickly enter information that can be inserted into areas of a document that need to be populated. Word/Excel Print/Save All Within Word and Excel, buttons have been added to update the document on the server, print all open documents, save all open documents and attach the current document to the customer file as a PDF.

9 ResWare Features: Settlement ResWare has all the necessary modules to make real estate closings smooth and error-free, as well as produce HUDs and Settlement Statements. Settlement Entry This component facilitates performing a real estate closing as well as producing a HUD Settlement Statement. Settlement Screen Locking Only employees with the Settlement Editor role enabled are allowed to edit the settlement/hud screens. Other employees have view-only access to the screens. In addition, an employee with the "Settlement Lock" role enabled can "lock" the settlement screens into a read-only mode for all employees. Loan Information Employees can record information about loans, including loan amount, rate, broker, lender, sales price, escrow amount, commissions, and referral fees. A commission calculator is available to calculate commission percentages and amounts. GFE Information Employees can enter information about the GFE that appears on the 2010 HUD. Lenders can also enter and modify portions of this information on the website.

10 ResWare Features: Partner-Facing Website Listed clients and partners can can view information, leave notes, download and upload documents and have access to information 24x7, significantly reducing phone calls from partners. Clients can also have online order submission enabled, allowing them to submit new orders via the website. Web Site Employees of partners and clients, as well as transactees, can be given a username and password to access their files via the ResWare website. In addition, text on each user's welcome page can be customized per partner. File Search When a user logs in, he can view recent files or search for files where his company has been added as a partner. File View When a user views a file, they are only shown portions of the file to which they have been granted access. Users can be granted access to view partner information, notes, documents, disbursements, actions, and settlement information. Note/Document Attachment Users can add notes and documents to files to which they have access. Notifications of new items are sent to coordinators on the file. Order Entry Clients can be allowed to enter new orders on the website. The orders will automatically be created in the system and routed to employees to begin processing.

11 ResWare Features: Administration Through an easy to use administration interface, ResWare can be configured to meet your businesses changing needs. Action List Definition Action Items and Action Lists can be defined, modified or disabled. This powerful interface gives administrators the flexibility of creating Action Lists that are customer and business-type specific. Action Lists can easily be modified as business needs change. Document Types and Templates An administrator can add document types, create new Word and Excel templates, define document packages and organize templates into categories. Internal Users Internal users can be added, modified, and disabled. The administrative interface gives precision control over user access to various features, such as the ability to modify settlement information, cut checks, void checks, create invoices and more. Business Information Address and contact information about the business and offices can be modified at will. In addition, footers can be attached to all outgoing messages. Homepage Links A set of links can appear on every employee's home page. These links typically point to external resources, such as websites regarding benefits, client websites, or other useful industry information. Links can be added, removed and modified through an administrative interface. Teams Employees can be organized into teams to facilitate cooperation and responsibility within a group. Team members can see actions that are due by other members of the team, giving them the ability to assist others when appropriate. And on and on Nearly every aspect of the system is configurable by an administrator, giving you unprecedented control over how the system behaves, without having to rely on your software vendor to make changes.

12 ResWare Features: Application-Wide Features There are several efficiency-improving features that are available throughout ResWare. Icon Bar Users are always within a single click of frequently used features such as document and note attachment, partner search, create new customer file, save or close current file, reports, file search or action search. Multiple Business Support ResWare can support multiple businesses, with user-specific access to each. Familiar Tabbed Interface Significant development time went into making ResWare as user-friendly as possible. As a result, the interface uses tabs, a mechanism familiar to users of other standard Windows applications. Teams Employees can be segmented into teams. This makes the team aware of tasks that other members need to accomplish, creating a more team-oriented work environment. Spell Check Spell check is available on notes, legal descriptions, and other areas of the system. File Locking When an employee is editing a customer file, it is locked other employees can view the file's summary and attach notes and documents, but cannot edit the file, which preserves data integrity. Online Help Extensive, context sensitive help is available within the application for use by employees after training has been completed. Access Roles The system contains over 100 different roles to enable/disable employee access to various features and portions of the system. Fax Integration ResWare allows employees to send a note or document to somebody as a fax and see fax confirmations on the homepage of ResWare. Fax integration can be done with a variety of internet and hardware-based fax servers.
