3 Vendor Portal Profiles This component allows Vendors enter both their Company and their contacts profile information, which is required for QVC to continue a long term business with Vendors. QVC also extracts certain information like brands, categories, charity information from other systems that currently house and own the relevant details. These fields are critical to be featured together within the respective Vendor profile. Vendor Portal Roles & Access From your Vendor Portal Profile, click on the Roles & Access link. Here you will find three categories: Lead Roles: President or Primary Contact. These are primary points of contact within your company. {3} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

4 Functional Roles: Key Contact. This is the secondary point of contact within your company for QVC business interactions. Access Roles: Controls the level of access each individual has to business applications only. Switching Associated Companies If you are associated with multiple companies, you can use the portal association box to switch companies. Step 1: In the portal association box select the vendor option Step 2: In the list of associated vendors select the vendor you wish to act under, and click Save {4} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

5 Association Search This allows a user to search Vendor and the contacts associated by company name, Merch Id or AP Id. Step 1: In the portal association box select the vendor option Step 2: Click Association Search and then the Filter option at the top of the screen Step 3: Enter the desired search preference and click the red Filter option Step 4: Click the box next to the Vendor and click Contacts. 6 Option 2 Step 1: Under the Company tab, select Contacts Step 2: Select your User Id and you will be taken to your Profile You can edit your profile by clicking Edit and then Save Navigating to Company Contacts Please note: If associated to multiple companies, see Switching Associated Companies Step 1: Under the Company tab, select Contacts {6} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

7 You will be taken to the Company Contacts page Step 2: Click the User Id You will be taken to their profile. Managing Portal Users Creating a New User Please note: If associated to multiple companies, you must associate to the company whose contacts you are trying to manage (see switching associations above). From the Company Contacts Page: Step 1: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Add User Step 2: Enter in all of the required details in the popup Primary phone and primary when creating a new user refers to the user s (not company s) preferred phone and contact information. Functional roles describes the contacts role within your company as it applies to QVC business interactions. Access level roles control the level of visibility and access each individual has to business applications. 9 Please note: If an is already tied to an existing account, you will receive the following message Would you like to link to the existing account that already exists for this ID? This will allow you to associate the existing user to the company. Also, if a user has been selected as a Primary Contact or President, and there are existing users holding that role, you will be asked to confirm that the current President or Primary Contact will be replaced. Editing User Profile Information From the User Profile screen there are 6 tabs which can be accessed; Select the tab containing the information you wish to view or edit. Profile Contains information specific to individual users, irrespective of any company associations. Lists primary contact information ( /phone), current system access (enabled/disabled), user responsibilities (Job duties performed to support a company s business with QVC), whether the contact is an employee, representative or on-air guest for the currently associated (default) company, and if this person is an assistant to a user currently associated with the company. Step 1: Click Edit to alter or modify field information Step 2: Click Save to save any changes made to contact s profile {9} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

10 You can add additional contact information such as s, Phone and Address by clicking the + in the red box. Roles & Access Display and management of user positions and provided portal access under the associated company. Admins can assign or remove positions/access roles to applications and pages as desired. Please note: There may only be 1 Primary or President Contact. There can be more than 1 Company Admin to manage the account. Step 1: In the dropdown select the roles you wish to add to the contact To remove a role click the minus box next to the role. 11 To remove access click the minus box next to the access level. Please note: Reference the Document Sharing Job Aid to learn more about this role. Online Presence The online presence tab allows users to input their social media account names and URLs (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn). Step 1: Click the Type dropdown to the select from which type of online information will be added Step 2: Enter in the name and URL for the selected type and select Add Select the pencil icon to edit preexisting information or the trashcan icon to remove information. {11} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

12 Category The category tab allows users to select their primary category (the category in which they do the bulk of their work with QVC/their associated company), and it also lists an option to add other associated categories pertaining to their QVC business relationship. Step 1: Click Edit Step 2: In the primary and other category dropdowns, select the category Re-inviting Unregistered Users For users that have been added but have not yet registered and need another invitation or reminder. From the Company Contacts Page: Step 1: Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Unregistered Users section and select the user and click Re-Invite Please note: Deleting unregistered users will deactivate their ability to register in the portal and send them an informing them that their registration link has expired. {12} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

13 Reactivating & Deactivating Users From the Company Contacts Page: Deactivations Step 1: Select the contact(s) you want to deactivate and click the Deactivate button Please note: A Primary Contact cannot be deactivated until a replacement contact is designated. Reactivations Step 1: Select the grey Filter tab and select Inactive in the Status drop down to locate the contact you want to reactivate and click Filter Step 2: Select the contact(s) to reactivate and click Activate {13} Copyright by QVC, Inc. 2016, All rights reserved

14 Navigating to Company Profile Please note: If associated to multiple companies, see Switching Associated Companies. Step 1: Under the Company tab, select Company Profile. You will be taken to the company s profile details page. Update Your Company Profile From the Company profile link, you will have access to four tabs of your company s profile. Company Details This tab displays relevant details pertaining to your company s business relationship with QVC. This includes your company s preferred address to receive business related materials, payment and freight terms, and buyer contact details. This tab is predominantly read-only with the exception of the following fields; Doing Business As, and Owned by Parent Company. For changes to any read-only information, please contact your buyer. 15 Product Category Vendors can edit their Primary Category, which is the category that constitutes the majority of a company s business with QVC. The Associated Category list is populated automatically and is not an editable field, but will display other categories that your company works within. Step 1: Click Edit to alter or modify field information Step 2: Select the Primary Category from the dropdown list Step 3: Click Save Online Presence The online presence tab allows admins to input company online accounts and URLs (e.g. company website, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
