4 1. Introduction An easy-to-use , communication, and collaboration platform, OX App Suite provides access to a wide range of white-labeled applications. From secure to cloud storage, OX App Suite is designed for speed and efficiency. The OX App Suite offers a wide range of cloud-based services designed to manage your customers digital lives, s, tasks, and files from a single interface, on any device. Easily upsell customers to higher value packages or encourage them to buy other hosting products from the Resello Cloud Marketplace. You will achieve your business goals faster than you ever thought possible! Boost customer lifetime value Easily acquire new customers Get the best pricing Provide an all-in-one platform Fully hosted & integrated Suitable for multi-device users Different types of licenses are made possible to ensure a logical upgrade and cross-sell path. A regular plan is based on the Basic license as a standard. The plan can be configured with a couple of options, such as IMAP, POP and SMTP. Mailboxes with this license and plans have a maximum of 2 GB. When you need a larger mailbox than 2 GB, you will need another license. Business and a Pro licenses are offered and the main difference is the space you can use for the mailbox. For more details and specifications, you can check our OX App Suite page on Resello.com. Note: The Basic license is a free license and an extra fee applies for Business and Pro licenses. The plan offers the space for the mailboxes. However, with a Business and Pro license, the space is insufficient with the regular plans and the space will be invoiced separately. 4

5 2. Create a customer Before you sell products, you will need to have customers. If you already have created a customer, skip this step. Follow these steps to create a customer: 1. Login to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Customers in the menu bar 3. Click on the blue Actions button and then click Create customer 4. Fill in all the details and click Save to apply You have now created a customer and can go to the next steps. 5

6 3. Create Customer prices for plans To use Open Xchange for your , you will need to define plans. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Log in to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Products > Hosting & > Customer prices 3. Click on the blue Actions button and click on Create plan 6

7 4. You are now able to specify your plan. Fill in the details and choose a preset. These presets are the same as the ones on our website, on our product page 5. When you have filled in all the details, you can click on Save 6. An plan is now created, but you will also have to create a price for it. Click on the create link 7. Define the price, interval and if your customers can order it at your Storefront. When done, click on Save to apply 7

8 4. Create Reseller prices for plans When you want your resellers to be able to offer as well, you will need to create prices for them as well. 1. Log in to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Products > Hosting & > Reseller prices 3. Click on the blue Actions button and click on Create price list 8

9 4. Name the price list, set the currency and fill in the prices. If you haven t done so already, you will need to create prices for all hosting products in the tabs 5. Fill in all the details and click Save to apply 9

10 5. Create Customer prices for licenses As the different licenses have their own prices as well, you will need to define these separately. 1. Log in to your Reseller area 2. Click on Products > Open-Xchange > Customer prices 3. Click on the blue Actions button and click on Create plan 4. Define a name for the license, the type and if you want additional storage. You can also check the box when you want to host the license remotely. More about remote hosted licenses and additional storage will be discussed later in this guide. Note: The difference between the types of licenses can be found on our website, on the Open-Xchange product page 10

11 5. Click Save when you are done 6. Now you will need to define a price for the license. Click on Create pricing interval 7. Define the prices, interval and if it can be selected from your Storefront. If all is done, click on Save 11

12 6. Create Reseller prices for licenses When you want your resellers to be able to offer all Open-Xchange licenses as well, you will need to create prices for them as well. 1. Log in to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Products > Open-Xchange > Reseller prices 3. Click on the blue Actions button and click on Create price list 4. Name the price list, set the currency and fill in the prices. If you haven t done so already, you will need to create prices for all hosting products in the tabs 5. Fill in all the details and click Save to apply 12

13 7. Add an plan to a customer After defining an plan, you can add it to a customer. 1. Login to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Customers and find the customer you want to add the plan to. Click on details and you will be guided to the customer details page 3. Here you can click on the blue Customer actions button and select Add hosting account 4. First up is to which customer you want to add it to. If it is correct, this is already filled in and you click on Next 13

14 5. Select which plan you want to add to the customer and for which interval. You can also choose which domain should be linked to the plan 6. Click on Add and you will be asked to confirm. Click on Create to confirm and the plan will be added to the customer. If you selected a domain, it will automatically be linked 14

15 8. Add an Open-Xchange license to a customer After defining licenses, you can add it to a customer. 1. Login to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Customers and find the customer you want to add the plan to. Click on details and you will be guided to the customer details page 3. Here you can click on the blue Customer actions button and select Add Open-Xchange license 4. First up is to which customer you want to add it to. If it is correct, this is already filled in and you click on Next 15

16 5. Select which license you want to add to the customer and for which interval. 6. Click on Add and you will be asked to confirm. Click on Create to confirm and the plan will be added to the customer. If you selected a domain, it will automatically be linked. 16

17 9. Linking domain to an plan If you did not link a domain to the plan during the previous steps, you can also link a domain afterwards. 1. Login to your Reseller Area 2. Click on Customers and click on details at the customer you wish to link the domain 3. Then go to Products Domains (from the tabs, not the menu bar) and click on the domain you wish to link to the plan 4. At the details page, go to Actions and select Link to hosting 17

18 5. You will now be able to select which hosting plan you wish to link. Select the plan and click on Link 6. The domain is now linked to the plan and you can start creating addresses 18

19 10. Create an address You have defined plans and licenses, you know how to add it to a customer, it is now time to create an address for the customer. 1. Log in to the Customer Area. As a reseller, you can log in to the Customer Area by looking up the customer in the Reseller Area and click Log in as customer. 2. Go to Products > 3. Here, you ll find an overview of all plans and the domains linked to it 4. Click on the domain for which you want to create the address 19

20 5. You will see an overview of the users. Click on the blue Add user button to create a new mailbox. 6. Fill in the address prequel, select the license and set the password. For the Basic license, you can also set the size of the mailbox. Click Save to apply. 7. You have now created the address, but the webmail license is not activated yet. Click on the Open-Xchange link to the right of the mailbox. You will be guided to the webmail, but it will first activate the license. The address is now created and ready for use. 20

21 11. Upgrade license An plan is based on the Basic license. However, you can also upgrade it to a Business or Pro license. 1. Log in to the Customer Area. As a reseller, you can log in to the Customer Area by looking up the customer in the Reseller Area and click Log in as customer. 2. Go to Products > 3. Here, you ll find an overview of all plans and the domains linked to it 4. Click on the domain for which you want to upgrade the license. 21

22 5. Next to the mailbox, click on Change plan and select the license you wish to upgrade to. Note: When you have an unused license, use the swap license link at the top of licenses. 6. Click Next and the price for the license will be shown. Agree with the terms & conditions and Confirm order. An order will be created for the license and when paid, the license will be activated at the mailbox. 22

23 12. Log in to the webmail When you created an address, you can use it in an client. But you can also use it through the webmail. To log in to it, go to Hostedox.com. Log in with your address and password. 23

24 13. Reset password With all the accounts and passwords we all have nowadays, it can happen that you or your customer forgets the password. To reset it, follow these steps: 1. Log in to the Customer Area. As a reseller, you can log in to the Customer Area by looking up the customer in the Reseller Area and click Log in as customer. 2. Go to Products > 3. Here, you ll find an overview of all plans and the domains linked to it 4. Click on the domain for which you want to reset the password 24

25 5. Click on Modify and set a new password. You can also change the size of the mailbox here. Click Save to apply the password. All is left, is to login to your mailbox with the new password. 25

26 14. Create a forward You can add an automatic forward for your . Note: When creating a forward, you cannot create a mailbox with the same name. 1. Log in to the Customer Area. As a reseller, you can log in to the Customer Area by looking up the customer in the Reseller Area and click Log in as customer. 2. Go to Products > 3. Here, you ll find an overview of all plans and the domains linked to it 4. Click on the domain for which you want to create the forward 26

27 5. At the left, choose the Forwards tab. An overview will be shown and more important, the add forward button. Click it. 6. Fill in the address and destination. The destination can be an external address or one of the domain itself. Click Save to apply. 27

28 15. Hosted remote You can also use the Open-Xchange licenses for your own mail server. We call this hosted remotely. You will have to enable this at the Create Open-Xchange licenses step. An extra fee applies to have this option enabled. We have to set some settings at our end to make this possible. For more information, please contact our support department. 28

29 16. Additional storage As we have discussed earlier, when defining an Open-Xchange license, you can add additional storage. This can be done for OX Drive, but also for the mailboxes themselves. This extra storage will be invoiced separately. 29

30 17. Link an unmanaged domain to an plan When you have registered a domain with another provider, you can add it as an unmanaged domain from the Customer actions menu of the customer. To make it work with an plan, it can be linked to an plan just like a normal domain. However, the domain needs to be configured correctly at the provider. To secure the working of the , you will need to use our name servers. They are: - Ns01.hostcontrol.com - Ns02.hostcontrol.com - Ns03.hostcontrol.org The rest of the settings apply the same as a normal domain. 30

31 18. OX Drive OX Drive is an extra feature of the Open-Xchange App Suite. This can be compared with Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. It can be managed through the webmail, but also through an app for ios and Android. To set this up, you will need the webmail URL and your username and password. 31
