2 Thank you and congratulations on your purchase of the TRiLOC il1000 Locator. Worn on the wrist, the il1000 incorporates the latest in GPS, 3G/2G cellular network and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technologies to accurately communicate the individual s location, right to your computer, cellular or smart phone. Please read this manual before using your Locator to fully understand its functions and capabilities. TRiLOC watch USB cable AC wall adapter and 12VDC lighter plug Quick start guide Locking key(2) GETTING STARTED The TRiLOC includes an AC Adapter and car charger. Use of another type of AC adapter or car charger can result in malfunction and/or possible fire hazard due to battery overheating. The battery in the TRiLOC is rechargeable and should not be removed. In the event that it should need to be replaced, please contact iloc Technologies Technical Support at System Requirements For optimal results we recommend a computer with the following: Operating system: Windows 7 or higher // Mac ios version 10.x Monitor resolution: 1024 x 768 Web browser: Internet Explorer ver. 9.0/ Chrome 5.0 / Firefox ver. 18 / Safari 5 **Cookies must be enabled Hi-speed internet connection Step-1. Connect the USB cable to the USB power adapter. On the back of the TRiLOC you will see a USB receptacle, plug the USB cable into this receptacle and plug the power adapter into a 110 VAC electric receptacle. On the TRiLOC you will see a battery level indicator showing that your Locator is charging. Charging your TRiLOC will take between 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Step-2. Using your personal computer or laptop ensure that you have an internet connection. From your web browser visit Click on the button located on the top right-hand side of the screen. This will take you to the Dashboard admin screen: Click on the button and you will be presented with the following: 2 P a g e

3 Click on the button. You will now be presented the following screen: Fill in all the fields. Choose a personal Username and Password. Note down this Username and Password as well as the Locator ID number and store in a safe place. Once completed click on the button. You will be presented with the following screen (Dashboard): Dashboard Menu bar Alerts received for each particular TRiLOC Click on Find me. TrackNow will search for the location of the TRiLOC and display it on a map. Tracking Mode allows caregiver to set the time intervals when receiving alerts and notifications. Default is Standby. Google earth map provides the precise location of the TRiLOC Configurable tracking history Alert Settings allow the caregiver to enable/disable alerts. Alert Emergency Settings allow the caregiver to set emergency alerts so when triggered, tracking of the TRiLOC will be on a minute-by-minute basis. 3 P a g e

4 Tracking Mode Select the TRiLOC that you would like to configure Choose at what interval you would like the information to be displayed. Selecting a one(1) minute interval will discharge the battery faster than setting at a sixty(60) minute interval. You should only setup Tracking on Every 1 min. in an emergency situation. Standby indicates that the TRiLOC position will be displayed only when an alert will be triggered Alert Settings Enabling breadcrumbs allows the user to visualize the path taken by the wearer over a period of time. The path will be stored on the TRiLOC until a find me is performed or an alert has been triggered. The Airplane mode is used for air travel where electronic transmitting devices need to be shut off. In order to remove Airplane Mode the wearer will need to hold the SOS button until the airplane logo disappears. The Tether mode is related to iloc s Tether-Charger. The Tether- Charger is comparable to an electronic leash. Refer to the Tether Charger documentation for more information. The Clasp Open/Closed settings will notify if the Locator was removed or affixed. The Over speed setting can be configured so that in the event the Locator is travelling in excess of the configured Threshold an alert will be sent. The Silent Listen provides the caregiver with listening capabilities. A discreet call is placed and the caregiver can hear what is occurring at the Locator. The Fall Detection notifies the caregiver that the wearer may have fallen. The SOS Button automatically places an emergency call to the caregiver. The Tether Zone Enter/Exit setting will notify the caregiver on the event the Locator should exit or enter a predetermined area. Auto-Emergency Settings The Auto-Emergency Settings allows the caregiver to enable particular settings that they consider emergencies. Enabling any one of these options will change the Tracking Mode interval to minute-mode. Whereabouts of the Locator will be on a minute-perminute basis. Once the alert is acknowledged the Tracking Mode returns to its pre-configured state. 4 P a g e

5 Tracking History Click and drag the icon to a particular location on the map for a street level view. The larger Locator icon indicates the last position the Locator was. The smaller ones show a trail of where the TRiLOC has been. Each one has a time stamp to indicate at what time the TRiLOC was at that particular position. You can specify a date range to display on the map where the TRiLOC has been for that period. 5 P a g e

6 The account settings allow you to configure the format the information is displayed. You can also change your password should the need arise. Account Settings A Geofence is a virtual perimeter that the caregiver can configure. The caregiver is notified once the TRiLOC enters or exits a designated Geofence area. Geofence Zoom into the area where you would like to add a Geofence and click on your mouse to set. Click on any icon to: View the location of the Geofence Disable the Geofence Delete the Geofence Up to four(4) Geofences can be configured per locator. The caregiver can set a specific date and time on when the Geofence is active. 6 P a g e

7 Geofence Advanced Schedules The Geofence Schedule Settings allows the caregiver the option to select a specific day and/or time for the Geofence to be enabled. 7 P a g e

8 The TRiLOC is equipped with a reminder setting. The caregiver can add a message that will alert the wearer of an action to be done at a particular time. The message can have up to a maximum of 12 characters. Two reminders can be configured. Reminder Select the TRiLOC that you would like to set a reminder on. Set the Reminder to On. The reminder message can be displayed as a 1 line message or spread over 2 lines. Remember to click on the Update reminders setting when done. Select the day, time of day. By setting the Confirmation required to Yes, the wearer will need to confirm that they received the reminder message. In the above example, the message Blue Pill will be sent to the TRiLOC every day at 9:00am 8 P a g e

9 The Notifications page is where the caregiver sets up their contact information. Enter the phone number, text message number and the address to where the Alerts will be sent. Select the TRiLOC A Maximum of 5 Contacts are permitted The Phone Number is the number that will be contacted should the SOS button be pressed. Enter the Text Message Number and Address where alerts will be sent. Select the options you would like to be notified for, either by Text Msg, or both. 10 The Reference Contacts allows the caregiver to add important phone numbers, similar to an address book or contact list. There is an Address Book section that allows you to store important telephone numbers. Add the name and phone number and click on the Add Contact button.
