3 Fixed Blade External Louvre Introduction pg. 2 pg. 2 pg. 2 pg. 2 pg. 2 Model FBL fixed horizontal blade external weather louvres with 50mm blade spacing are particularly suitable for smaller intake or exhaust applications, where a balanced appearance is required when installed on external walls. Constructed from extruded aluminium sections with either a cleated or welded frame (subject to size and/or specification). Each louvre is fitted with a bird guard as standard, insect screens also available (please note insect screens will reduce the free area). All flanges are supplied plain un-drilled, as an alternative countersunk screw holes in the flange are also available. Model FBL is supplied as standard with a 25mm wide flange frame, maximum size 1500mm x 1500mm. For continuity of appearance, if you require various sizes from 300mm x 300mm to over 1500 x 1500mm, we would recommend using the FBL-75 to keep all flanges the same. Model FBL-LF is supplied as standard with a larger 44mm wide flange frame. A drip cill may be specified as an optional extra. Finishes available are:- standard mill finish aluminium:- alternatives include polyester powder coating and anodised. (Colour must be specified separately on all orders). 5 Fixed Blade External Louvre Model FBL Dimensions Minimum nominal size is 150 x 150mm for the FBL and 300 x 300mm for the FBL - LF, up to a maximum single section of FBL 25mm (Standard flange) 1500mm x 1500mm. Where the nominal louvre height is not divisible by 50mm, the blade pitch will be adjusted accordingly. (This may marginally affect the resultant free area). Rear mounted stiffener bars are fitted as standard to louvres over 1000mm width. Cleated frame same as standard. 5 5

7 Fixed Blade External Louvre Model FBL - 75A and FBL - 75AC Introduction Model FBL 75 fixed horizontal blade external weather louvres with 75mm blade spacing are particularly suitable for larger intake or exhaust applications, where a clean continuous appearance is required when installed on external walls. Constructed from extruded aluminium sections using a mechanical fixing for frame and blades (subject to size and/or specification). Each louvre is fitted with a bird guard as standard, insect screens are also available. All flanges are supplied plain un-drilled, fixing details are as shown on page 10. Model FBL 75 A is supplied as standard with a 40mm wide flange frame. Size Range Minimum size: 300 W x 300 mm H Maximum size: 2500 W x 1500 mm H or 1500 W x 2500 mm H Model FBL 75 AC is supplied as standard with a flangeless frame for recessed fitting. Finishes available are:- Standard mill finish aluminium, alternatives include polyester powder coating and anodised. (Colour must be specified separately on all orders). 9 Fixed Blade External Louvre Model FBL - 75A and FBL - 75AC Dimensions Minimum nominal size is 300mm x 300mm up to a maximum single section of 2500mm wide x 1500mm high or 1500mm wide x 2500mm high. Where the nominal louvre height is not completely divisible by blade centres, the head blade will comprise a formed section. (This may marginally affect the resultant free area). Rear mounted stiffener bars are fitted as standard to louvres over 1.2m in width. A continuous external appearance is maintained to the louvre blades with stiffener bars fitted to the rear of the blade assembly.
