2 Welcome to the PeopleManager Employee Self-Service (ESS) User Guide. This guide is designed to provide you, the Delaware North Associate, with the information you need to successfully use the Human Resources ESS features of PeopleManager. 3 A. Log into PeopleManager To access PeopleManager from WORK, copy and paste the link below into your Internet Browser: TIP: Save this web site/url to your Internet Browser s Favorite menu. **END** Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 1
4 B. Change Name You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you have updated your name since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. After completing and submitting your name change in PeopleManager, you must provide your unit HR representative the proper supporting documentation (i.e., social security card) confirming the name change. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. Click the Name Change link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 2
5 3. Enter the date the name change takes effect in the Change As Of field, or click the Calendar button to select the date. Next, click the Edit Name button. 4. Enter the new name and click the Refresh button when complete. 5. Next, click the OK button. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 3
6 6. Click the Save button to confirm the change. 7. The message shown here will display when the change is successfully submitted. Note: After submitting your name change, you must provide your unit HR representative the proper support documentation (i.e., social security card) confirming the name change. 8. 7 C. Change Home/Mailing Address You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you have updated your home or mailing address since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. Click the Home and Mailing Address link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 5
8 3. To modify an address, click the Edit button 4. Enter the date the address change takes effect in the Change As Of field, or click the Calendar button to select the date. 5. Enter the new address. IMPORTANT: The Change As Of date must be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format to reflect the date the new address will take effect. 6. Click the Save button when done. 10 D. Change Phone Number You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you have updated your phone number since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. 11 3. To add a new number, click the Add Phone Number button. Note: To delete an existing phone number, click the Delete button. 4. In the new row, enter the Phone Type, Telephone number, Extension (if any), and indicate whether this new number is the preferred number at which to be contacted. Note: Only one number can be marked as Preferred. 5. When done, click the Save button. 6. Click the Sign Out button in the upper right corner of the screen to log out of PeopleManager when done. **END** Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 9
12 E. Change Emergency Contact You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you have updated your emergency contact information since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. Click the Emergency Contacts link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 10
13 3. To modify or change an existing emergency contact, click the Edit button next to the contact you wish to edit. 4. Enter or Edit the address and telephone information as necessary. Click the Edit Address button to edit the contact s address if it is not the same as the employee s. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 11
14 5. Enter the phone number information as necessary. (Click the Add Phone Number button to add an additional number.) Click the Save button when done. 6. A confirmation message will display when the change was successfully saved. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 12
15 7. To add an additional emergency contact, click the Add Emergency Contact button. 8. Enter or Edit the address and telephone information as necessary. Click the Edit Address button to edit the contact s address if it is not the same as the employee s. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 13
16 9. Enter the phone number information as necessary. (Click the Add Phone Number button to add an additional number.) Click the Save button when done. 10. A confirmation message will display when the change was successfully saved. 11. 17 F. Change Address You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you have updated your address(es) since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. 18 3. To add a new address, click the Add Address button. 4. Select the type, and enter the new address. Note: Only one address can be marked as Preferred. 5. Click the Save button when done. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 16

20 G. Change Ethnic Group You provided your personal information to Delaware North Companies when you were hired. If you need to enter or change your ethnic group since your hire, follow the instructions below to make the necessary modifications. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Personal Information link. 2. Click the Ethnic Groups link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 18
21 3. If the ethnic group listed is incorrect, click the Delete button to remove. (If an ethic group is not listed, ignore this step.) 4. The message shown here will display confirming the deletion. Click the Yes- Delete button to confirm and continue. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 19
22 5. Click the Add an Ethnic Group button. 6. Select the appropriate ethnic group from the pulldown menu. Click the Save button when done. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 20

24 H. Enter Direct Deposit You can set up (or modify) your Direct Deposit elections in PeopleManager. Follow the instructions below to setup or modify your Direct Deposit elections. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Payroll and Compensation link. 2. Click the Direct Deposit link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 22
25 3. To add an account for Direct Deposit, click the Add Account button. Note: There is no limit to the number accounts that can be setup. 4. Add/select the following information to add an account: a. Routing Number - It is important to ensure that the Routing Number Jane Smith represents a Checking and/or Savings Account only; must be 9 digits long (see Check Example to the right). b. Account Number - It is important to ensure that the Account Number represents a Checking and/or Savings Account only (see Check Example to the right). c. Account Type Use the pull down to select Checking, Savings, or Issue Check. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 23
26 d. Deposit Type Use the pull down to select Amount, Balance or Percent; this allows you to determine the amount or percent of money to be direct deposited into the specific account. e. Amount or Percent If you selected Amount or Percent in the Deposit Type field, enter a number to indicate the amount or percent that gets deposited into this account. The total Amt/Pct for all account allocations must add up to 100%. If you select more than one account, you must designate the last account as a balance account. f. Deposit Order Enter 1, 2, etc. to indicate the order in which you want the funds to be deposited into the account, i.e., 1=first account deposited, 2=second account deposited, etc. 5. When done, click the Submit button. 6. The message shown here will display if the account was successfully set up. Click the OK button to continue, or click the Sign Out button in the upper right corner of the screen to log out of PeopleManager. 7. To add another account, click the Add Account button and repeat steps 4-6. Jane Smith 8. 27 I. Change Federal W-4 You can enter or update your Federal W-4 tax information at any time in PeopleManager. Follow the instructions below to view and/or modify your Federal tax information. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Payroll and Compensation link. 2. Click the W-4 Tax Information link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 25
28 3. First, enter the total number of allowances you would like to claim, as well as any additional amount you would like withheld from each paycheck (if needed). 4. Indicate your Marital Status by clicking in the appropriate check box. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 26
29 5. If either of the statements here are true, click in the appropriate check box. 6. Enter the current year for which you are completing the W-4 form. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 27
30 7. If both of the statements highlighted here are true, click in the checkbox. 8. When done, click the Submit button to continue. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 28
31 9. The message shown here will display requiring you to enter your PeopleManager password. Enter your password and click the Continue button. 10. A confirmation message will display. 32 J. View Benefit Elections You can view your benefit elections in PeopleManager. This is only available for benefit-eligible associates. Follow the instructions below to view your benefit elections. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Benefits link. 2. Click the Benefits Summary link. 33 3. A summary of your benefits elections will display as of the current date shown. 4. Click the Sign Out button in the upper right corner of the screen to log out of PeopleManager when done. **END** Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 31
34 K. View Paycheck You can view your current or previous paycheck online in PeopleManager. Follow the instructions below to view a paycheck from January 1, 2013 and later. 1. From the Main Menu box (pagelet), click the Payroll and Compensation link. 2. Click the View Paycheck link. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 32
35 3. Your current and previous (if applicable) paychecks back to January 1, 2013 will be listed. Click on the Check Date link you wish to open. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 33
36 4. The paycheck selected will display in a new window as a PDF formatted document that can be printed. Important: Your Internet Browser s pop-up blocker must be disabled in order to view a paycheck. To view a different paycheck, close the window and click on a different paycheck date link. 37 To view a paycheck prior to January 1, 2013, follow the instructions below. 1. From the Main Menu, navigate to: Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > View Paychecks Prior to 1/1/13 2. Enter or select the date range of the paychecks you want to view in the From Date and End Date fields. When done, click the Populate Checks button. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 35
38 3. The list of paychecks issued to you during the selected time period will be displayed. You can select to view one paycheck by clicking on the box next to that check, or you can choose to view a sum of selected checks. To do this, you can either click on each one individually or click on the Select All button. Delaware North Companies, Rev. 1/7/13 36
39 4. Once you have made your selection of the paycheck(s) you want to view, click on the Check Summary tab at the top. You will then see the check or checks you have chosen to view and the date range you have selected. Important: Your Internet Browser s pop-up blocker must be disabled in order to view a paycheck. 5.
