1 Welcome to MoneyTracker. Tracking your finances has never been easier with this free personal financial management tool. Just log onto Internet Branch and click MoneyTracker to enroll. MoneyTracker allows you to view all of your accounts, from all of your financial institutions, from the convenience of Internet Branch. It s easy! Once you get your external accounts set up in MoneyTracker, you just have to remember your Internet Branch password to see all of your financial information in one central location. 2 Create A Dashboard The MoneyTracker Dashboard provides a convenient way to view the information you care about most in one place. You can create new items by clicking Add on the right. Then easily arrange and prioritize what is most important to you by dragging the widgets around the page. To see this screen first when you log in, click Set Home on the top menu bar. 2

3 Set Up Your MoneyTracker Profile Set up your contact information on the Profile tab. Your primary will be set for you based on the information we currently have on file. Please note, this information only applies to MoneyTracker. To change your primary address, go back to Internet Branch and click the Self Service tab. In order to receive text messages, your mobile phone number must be formatted as an address. Instructions to format your mobile number as an address are available for most mobile providers when you click Edit on the Profile page. You can also add backup contact info for yourself or your joint account holder. 3

4 Set Up Alerts Receive custom alerts via , text message or both. Alerts can be created based on balance, transaction amount, specific transaction or search results. You can start with MoneyTracker s pre-built alerts or create your own! Be sure to enter your contact and text information on the Profile tab. Add External Accounts You can see a consolidated list of all your balances and financial transactions by entering your usernames and passwords for your other financial institutions. Click the icon on the Accounts page to add an external account. Then browse our list for the name of your other financial institution and securely enter your username and password for your other financial institution s online banking. 4

5 Search Transactions You can search your transactions across all accounts or by individual account. Just type what you are looking for in the search bar on the accounts page. You can search by: Date (e.g.: this week, September or 01/2010 to 03/2010) Amount (e.g.: over 100, about 100 or over 100 under 500) Description (e.g.: name, check #101) Category (e.g.: category: Groceries, category: Automobile) Combined search (e.g.: store name over 100, store name around 25 August) You can easily make any search into a custom alert by clicking the Make This Search An Alert! link to the right of the search button. You will then be notified whenever a transaction meeting your search criteria is posted to your account. 5

6 Categorize Transactions MoneyTracker is set up to auto-categorize many transactions for you. You can also create your own categories or change the categorization of an existing transaction. To make edits, click the Reports & Budgets tab, then click the edit icon next to the category. Here you can add keywords that will autocategorize your transactions. If you want to change the categorization of an existing transaction, remove the keyword from that category and add it to your desired category. 6

7 Create Budgets Set up monthly spending budgets by category so you can keep your spending on track. An easy way to get your budgets started is to click Suggested Monthly Budget from the Reports & Budgets menu. This will automatically set your budgets based on your last 3 months of spending. You can go in and make custom edits from there. By clicking on the edit icon you may add keywords to your budget. For instance, you may want to add the name of your favorite restaurant to your dining out budget. 7

8 Charts Click on one of the chart icons on the budget page to see a chart of your spending. You can view a bar graph of your spending over the course of the year or a pie chart of your spending by category. Notebook The Notebook tab helps you stay organized. If you need to jot down a note about a donation to charity, a charge dispute or a billing question, then the Notebook is the place to do it. By adding entries (pages) to your notebook, you are creating a private, searchable area for your financial related notes. 8
