3 1. Introduction UBS-SFA Online allows you to access information about your UBS-SFA portfolio(s) whenever you want. All you need is an internet connection. The service can be accessed on various devices such as a desktop computer, notebook, tablet, even smartphones. Besides basic account information, the system provides various portfolio analytics, as well as a secure connection to your Wealth Management Consultant. The system also provides secure delivery of e-documents (including statements), lets you download printer-friendly PDF versions of selected screens, and has a function to download portfolio data to Excel. Good to know: UBS-SFA Online runs in your browser no software is installed on your system. For best results, don't use the browser back button, use the button on the page itself. To print a page, use the button, where available. This provides a more printer-friendly format. You can download the data from a page for use in Excel and similar programs by using the button (where available). With UBS-SFA Online, you can send documents to your Wealth Management Consultant using secure, encrypted . Page 3 of 36

4 2. Logging in 2.1 How to log in To log in, you will need your contract number as well as the token and personal identification number (PIN) we have mailed you separately. The token enhances the security system by generating a unique, one-time-only password each time you log in. To ensure the best possible security, it is very important that you change the PIN on the token when logging in for the first time. See the instructions in section 2.2. Changing the PIN on your token. Once you have changed the PIN on the token, you can log in. The process is simple: 1. Go to the website ubs.com/ubs-sfa and log in using which is located in the upper right-hand corner. On the following page click on. Alternatively go to the website sfa-online.ch to log in. 2. At the login screen, type in your contract number in the top field (marked Contract Number ). 3. Turn on your token by pressing. 4. Enter your PIN in the token. CAUTION: Entering the wrong PIN for 6 times will block the token. Please get in contact with your Wealth Management Consultant at UBS-SFA to unblock the token. 5. Press again. A numerical password appears on the token screen. 6. Enter the numerical password in the bottom field of the UBS-SFA Online login screen (marked Password ). 7. Click. 8. You will be logged in with a secure connection to UBS-SFA Online. 2.2 Changing the PIN on your token 1. Turn on your token by pressing. 2. Type in the PIN code you received from us. 3. When NEW PIN appears, enter a new, four-digit PIN. 4. Press to confirm. 5. When CONFIRM appears, re-enter your new PIN. 6. Press to confirm. 7. The message COMPLETE appears, confirming that your new PIN has been set successfully. From now on, use your new PIN with the token when you want to log in to UBS-SFA Online. Do not reveal your PIN code to anyone. Page 4 of 36

Finances Check on your portfolio(s) and assets 3.1 Portfolio Overview Get an overview about your portfolios The following screen is only shown if there are several portfolios linked to the e-banking contract. If you click a portfolio, or if you have just one portfolio to begin with, you will be forwarded to the screen shown in chapter 3.2 Portfolios Check positions, transactions performance or maturities. Unlike other screens the portfolio screen doesn't provide column configuration. Instead, appropriate filters and table columns are shown based on the underlying data. Shows the customer name the portfolio belongs to. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order and group portfolios by customer name. Shows the portfolio number. 6 3.2 Portfolios Check positions, transactions performance or maturities Select to find information about your portfolio(s) such as positions, transactions, performance or maturities Positions View details of a single portfolio Context functions, allows you to Add portfolio position to your favorites or your dashboard Show / Hide columns Export a CSV-formatted text file which can be opened in Excel Export screen to PDF file. Allows you to filter your positions. Beside choosing the following standard filters you can define your own filter. Allows you to search your portfolio positions by various criteria or keywords, like security type, currency, market value, etc. Click to hide / display graph. Page 6 of 36

7 Create your own graph by defining two dimensions, e.g. sector by currency. You can choose from the following values for each dimension. Choose if the graph should display absolute values or percentages. Expand or contract positions. Type of investment, e.g liquidity, bonds, equities or other investments. Sector of security. Region of security. Title of investment / security. Symbol of security. Security number / ISIN of security. Maturity of investment / security. Currency of investment / security. Risk currency of investment / security. Nominal / Quantity of investment. Cost price of security. Click on any position to see further details as described in chapter Portfolio position detail view. 8 3.2.2 Transactions View your past transaction The Transactions section lets you see all relevant movements across all your accounts. These can include such things as purchases, sales, corporate actions, rights issues, redemptions, etc. Context functions, allows you to Add a portfolio position to your favorites Show / Hide columns Export to CSV formatted text file which can be opened in Excel Export screen to PDF file. Allows you to filter your positions. Beside choosing the following standard filters you can define your own filter by clicking. Allows you to search your transactions by various criteria or keywords such as security type, quantity, trading currency, etc. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order based on the date when the transaction was booked. Title of investment / security. Type of transaction. Nominal / Quantity of investment. Currency of investment / security. Price of security. Value of transaction. 9 3.2.3 Transaction details Find more information about a transaction On the screen there is detailed information about the transaction. Transaction date. Name of the investment / security. Symbol of the investment / security. Swiss identifier for investment / security (Valoren Number). International Securities Identification Number. Quantity or nominal of transaction. Abbreviation of the stock exchange. Price of transaction. Settlement value of transaction. Booking text. Page 9 of 36

10 3.2.4 Performance Get an overview about past and current performance The Performance section provides you an overview of the performance of a single portfolio. By default UBS-SFA Online will show you the performance of the selected portfolio. Click on or to get information about your monthly, respectively yearly performance Current performance Find details regarding your year-to-date performance On the screen you see a detailed breakdown for the chosen portfolio. All amounts are shown in reference currency. Shows the initial capital at the beginning of the period, usually the start of the year. The total amount of inflows and outflows. Shows the reclaimable taxes. Shows the sum of above, i.e. the start value of the portfolio corrected by assets inflows and outflows and VST / source withholding tax. Average assets over the period. Interest credited over the period. Page 10 of 36

11 Dividends credited over the period. Other income of the period. The change in accrued interest over the period. Total of above. Flat fee and other fees. Profits / Losses and valuation differences. Shows the final capital at the end of the period, usually the last business day. Shows the net performance calculated according to TWRR (Time Weighted Rate of Return) Monthly performance Find details regarding the monthly performance On the screen you see a detailed breakdown for the chosen portfolio. All amounts are shown in reference currency. Context functions, allows you to Add monthly performance to your favorites Export screen to PDF file. Click to hide / display graph. Graph shows you the performance contribution and the cumulative performance for a period of up to 24 months. The respective value for each value in the chart can be seen when hovering over the dot and bar. Shows which month in a given year you are looking at. Page 11 of 36

Allows to select the date range. Allows to filter maturities. Beside choosing the following standard filters you can define your own filter by pressing. Click to hide / display graph. 17 3.3.1 Accounts overview Your accounts at a glance The section gives an overview about accounts. Context functions, allows you to: Add accounts overview to your favorites or to the dashboard Export a CSV-formatted text file which can be opened in Excel Export screen to PDF file. Shows the customer name the account belongs to. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order and group portfolios by customer name. Shows International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and account type. Shows the currency of the account. Shows the current balance of the account in account currency. Shows the current balance of the account in reference currency. Click on an account to see the postings. Shows the current balance of the account in account currency. Shows the net amount in account currency of budget entries recorded previously by you. Shows the available balance on the account considering the upcoming budget entries recorded previously by you Account postings See debit and credit entries booked to an account When you click on an account on the screen (described in chapter Accounts overview Your accounts at a glance) you will be redirected to the following screen. 19 Context functions, allows you to: Add account postings to your favorites or to the dashboard Show / Hide columns Show collective bookings as individual rows Sow booking details Export to CSV-formatted text file which can be opened in Excel Export screen to PDF file. Allows you to search your postings by various criteria such as booking date, amount, beneficiary, etc. Allows to filter postings. Beside choosing the following standard filters you can define your own filter by pressing. Date of posting. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order and group postings by booking date. Value date of posting. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order and group postings by value date. Type of posting. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order and group postings by type. Booking text of posting. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order. Click on to toggle between showing more or less details. Amount in account currency for debit postings. Amount in account currency for credit postings. Page 19 of 36

Click on any posting to see account posting details as described in chapter Account posting details Account posting details When clicking on an account posting the following details are displayed Account details and account alias When clicking on as described in chapter Account postings See debit and credit entries booked to an account the following details are displayed. Click on this button to get to the following master data for the account. Page 20 of 36

21 Allows you to enter an alias, i.e. a nickname of the account. The alias is displayed on various screens in UBS-SFA Online and should help you to easier identify an account, e.g. by naming it by its purpose like "My daughter's account" or "Income account". Click on this button to discard your entry. Click on this button to save your entry. 3.4 Budget Entries Manage your planned spending or earnings The section allows you to record and manage future spending or earnings. Budget entries will be considered in the future account balance. Budget entries always reflect planning, they will not trigger an outgoing or incoming payment. Page 21 of 36

Services Documents, messages and more This chapter contains information about how you can reach your Wealth Management Consultant by using messages, how you can access your documents like asset statements, account statements, tax statements and advices and other functions like blocking your account or logout. 4.1 Messages Communicate with UBS-SFA The section of UBS-SFA Online is where you can communicate with your Wealth Management Consultant via secure . The number of unread messages is displayed inside a red dot. (Note: Messages are handled in the ordinary course of business and during regular business hours; in particular, they are not handled or dealt with on a priority basis. In the event that the transmitted information is time critical, you should choose alternative means of communication which ensure timely handling. UBS-SFA may refuse to act upon any message at any time or make further inquiries before acting upon a message. UBS-SFA is under no obligation to inform you of its refusal to act upon any message and, accordingly, you should not assume that any message has been acted upon without having received a separate confirmation from UBS-SFA.) Messages overview View your messages Click on and then on to get an overview over your messages. Here you can see, read and reply to the messages sent to you by your Wealth Management Consultant. Click on the message to display it. The screen shows you by default your inbox and the latest messages. Context functions, add to your favorites or your dashboard, export to PDF, or show / hide column visible. Page 22 of 36

23 Select another folder or create your own folders. Inbox contains messages sent to you. Sent contains messages sent by you. Archive contains messages which you archived Deleted messages go in to your Recycle bin, where they can be undeleted later. Deleted messages are available for a period of 90 days. Allows you to create your own folders. Select which messages you want to have displayed. The following options are available. Allows you to search your messages by various criteria or keywords. Message is unread. Message is important. Displays date and time when message arrived. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order. Shows the sender of the . Subject of the message. Click on subject to read the message. Date and time you read the message. A paper clip icon alerts you that a message has an attachment. Download the attachment of an . Move a message to another folder. Delete one or several messages. Create a new message, see chapter Send mail Send a message to your Wealth Management Consultant. Good to know: This mailbox is solely for messages to and from your Wealth Management Consultant. The system uses secure . Page 23 of 36

24 4.1.2 Messages Read and reply to a message When you click on a message your message will be opened and you can read it. Any attachments are available for download at the bottom of the message. Context functions, allows you to export the message to PDF. Indicates that the message has an attachment. Click on it to open. Move this message to another message folder. Delete this message. It is moved to the folder Deleted messages where it can be undeleted later. Deleted messages are available for a period of 90 days. Respond to the message. For further information see chapter Send mail Send a message to your Wealth Management Consultant Send mail Send a message to your Wealth Management Consultant Click on to create a new message to your Wealth Management Consultant. Type in a message subject in the Subject field. Type your message. The maximum size is 4,000 characters. While typing you can see below the text field a count of how many characters are remaining. Tick the box if this message is of specific importance. Press in order to add one or several attachment(s). The maximum size is limited to 2MB. Click this button to discard your draft. 26 4.2 Documents Receive, read and download important electronic documents The section of UBS-SFA Online is where you will receive important electronic documents. These include all account statements, asset statements and transaction advices that are available, and that you have chosen to have shown in UBS-SFA Online. The screen shows you by default the last 50 documents of your inbox. You can click anywhere on a document to display it. Context functions, allows you to add Select another folder or create your own folders. to your favorites. Inbox contains documents provided to you. The figure in the red dot shows the unread documents. Archive contains documents which you archived. Deleted contains documents you have chosen to delete. Allows you to create your own Page 26 of 36

27 folders. Select which documents you want to have displayed. The following options are available. Allows you to create or edit your own filter, e.g. to show your portfolio statements only. Allows you to search your documents by various criteria or keywords. Document is unread. Displays date and time when document was provided. Allows you to sort in ascending or descending order. Shows the subject of your document and listing the relevant portfolio or account number. Displays the date and time you have read the document. Shows you the first page of documents. Click on another number to see another page of your selected documents. Click this button to refresh the screen. Click this button to select the documents you would like to download. Click this button to select documents you would like to delete. They will be moved to the folder. From this folder they will be periodically erased. Click this button to select documents you would like to move to another folder, e.g.. Page 27 of 36

28 4.3 Settings Define your start page and other settings The section of UBS-SFA Online is where you can define your preferences. The following screen will open: Select the page you would like to start with after log-on to UBS-SFA Online. As default the star page is set to Dashboard. Select the number of entries which should be displayed per page. The more entries you choose the longer it may take to load the page. Define whether the account number should be displayed in the format of International Bank Account Number (IBAN) or bank specific. IBAN format: CH Bank-specific: Not applicable. Decide to see account bookings including or excluding details. Click this button to reset the general settings to the default values. Click this button to confirm your changes. Page 28 of 36

29 4.3.1 Alias Name portfolios or accounts for easier recognition Choose a name for each account and portfolio to make it easier for you to recognize them. The aliases will then replace the description of the portfolios / accounts. Click this button to reset alias. Click this button to confirm your changes Change address Inform us about your new address Click this button to reset your entries. Click this button to send your new address to your Wealth Management Consultant. Page 29 of 36

30 4.4 Block Access Lock your UBS-SFA Online contract If required you have the possibility to lock your UBS-SFA Online contract yourself. To block your contract choose from the menu. You will be directed to the following screen. Click on and you will see the following screen. Click on this button to cancel your request. Click on this button to confirm your request and block your contract. To unblock your account please contact your Wealth Management Consultant at UBS-SFA. Page 30 of 36

31 4.5 Logout There are two possibilities to terminate your session with UBS-SFA Online. Both use the following sign: Option 1: Option 2: For security reason we strongly recommend to always terminate your UBS-SFA Online session by using one of the above described logout possibilities rather than by simply closing the browser or window. 32 5. Dashboard Get the most important information at a glance The is the first page presented upon logging on to UBS-SFA Online. This provides an overview over portfolio and accounts, as well as information about unread documents and messages. Furthermore it provides a direct view to your UBS-SFA online mailbox and allows you to send a message to your Wealth Management Consultant. You can customize the dashboard according to your own preferences. Page 32 of 36

33 Context functions allow you to add widgets to the dashboard, edit the dashbaoard or reset the default settings. 5.1 Add widgets to the dashboard Add information to fit your needs Select from the context menu to add a widget. The following screen will open: Click on any of the widgets in order to add it to your dashboard. Click and hold to move the window to another place on your screen. Page 33 of 36

34 Select this row to add a widget showing account bookings. When you have several accounts you can add this widget more than once to the dashboard. In a second step you can filter account bookings of a specific accounts. This allows you to see the bookings of account A in one widget and bookings of account B in the second widget. Select this row to add a widget showing account balances. Select this row to add a widget showing messages. You can add the widget more than once to the dashboard. In a second step you can filter. This allows you to see the messages of your Inbox in one widget and messages e.g. of your Outbox in the second widget. Select this row to add a widget showing the value of each of your portfolios in a graph. Page 34 of 36

35 Select this row to add a widget showing portfolio(s) and balance(s). Select this row to add a widget showing portfolio positions. When you have several portfolios you can add this widget more than once to the dashboard. In a second step you can filter portfolio positions of a specific portfolio. This allows you to see the positions of portfolio A in one widget and positions of portfolio B in the second widget. Select this row to add a widget which allows you to directly send a message to your Wealth Management Consultant. Page 35 of 36

36 5.2 Edit the dashboard Rearrange your dashboard Select from the context menu to rearrange your dashboard, delete widgets or to set filters to widgets. Click the Settings icon on a widget to set a filter. Depending on the widget you can filter portfolios, accounts, positions, bookings or mailboxes. Click on the Dustbin icon to remove a widget from your dashboard. If needed you can later add it again. Click on the title of any widgets and hold. Then drag the widget to the preferred place on the dashboard. Click on this button to leave Edit Mode. Some widget cannot be moved or deleted from the dashboard. 5.3 Reset to default Get back the default view of the dashboard Select UBS-SFA. from the context menu to erase personal settings and get back to the standard dashboard set by On the following window confirm the reset by pressing on the dashboard, press. button.
