How To Create A Recurring Session

1 Q: What is a Recurring Session and how does it work? A: These are multiple sessions that recur over a period of time. When this option is chosen, the system will create one Master Session and multiple Recurring Instances based on the day, time, and date specified. Q: Where do I add assets? A: Assets can be added into the Master Session and each Recurring Instance. If added into the Master Session, the assets automatically appear in each Recurring Instance. If added to a specific Recurring Instance, the asset added only shows in that session. Q: How do I invite people to attend? A: Session links and participants are unique to each Recurring Instance. So, adding invitees or creating session links is done by editing the specific instance. From the My Sessions page, choose Create Session. Select Recurring Session and choose Weekly, Twice a Month, or Monthly. Select the day(s). Choose New to specify start and end times. Page 1 of 5

2 Enter times and click Submit. Enter the Session Start Date and Session End Date. This must be a date range. Based on the parameters specified, one Master Session will be created and Recurring Instances for each day and time within the date range given. Notes: Assets added in the Master Session show in each Recurring Instance. Assets added directly in a single Recurring Instance only show in the session to which it was added. Session Participants are handled within each Recurring Instance. To cancel the recurring series, cancel the Recurring Master Page 2 of 5

3 Session Name: Name of your session. Recurring Session: Sessions that repeat over a period of time. Session Start Date: Date the session is to start. Session End Date: Date the session is to end. Session Start Time: Time the session is to start. Session End Time: Time the session is to end. Send Reminder: Select hours or days in advance to send reminder. Session Accessible: The default is the end date, but the session can be extended. When extended, the Session can be joined by anyone invited without a presenter present. Features such as text chat, Audio Method: Three methods: 1. Voice over IP with Push- to- talk. 2. Voice over IP. 3. External Conference Line. Lock Group Noteboard: By default, the group noteboard is not locked. If locked, the Presenter can manually unlock it within the session. Lock the Chat: By default, the chat text window is not locked. If locked, the Host/ Presenter can manually unlock it in the session. Contact Phone: The phone number of the session s point of contact. (Included on the session invitation) Auto Start & End If selected, the recording automatically starts and stops Recording: when the Host enters and exits the session. Automated Sessions: If selected, the session is available as an upcoming session (A.K.A On Demand ) and can be joined by Attendees without the presence of a Presenter. (This feature is an upgrade item) Follow- Up Session Adds ability for attendees to schedule a follow- up session. Additional Appear on the Session invitation. 4 Invitation Type: There are four ways to invite to a Jigsaw session. 1. Invitation List: Invitees must be added to the Invitation List. 2. Link Password Requested A specific url link is created for the session. The link can be copied and the Host sends the link via to those he wishes to attend. This method requires the participant to enter their and Jigsaw user password. 3. Link Password Not Requested - A specific url link is created for the session. The link can be copied and the Host sends the link via to those he wishes to attend. This method requires the user to enter their , first and last name. Once all of the details have been entered, click the Create button. Confirmation message is given. Page 4 of 5
