1 May 1, 2008 TO: ALL MOHAWK DISTRIBUTORS RE: MOHAWK EXTRANET AND WEBSITES DISTRIBUTOR MEMO: # Ladies and Gentlemen; Attached are two documents to help you navigate around Mohawk s website better. One is a step by step guide on how to get into the extranet and use the tools. The other is a listing of our websites to find other information that you may need. If you have any questions at all or need help, please feel free to call me. Thanks, Bree Smullen Sales Admin , ext. 11
2 MOHAWK WEBSITES #1 is our public website where you can browse all lift models, options and brochure/specs which are all tools to help you sell. Also look at the book titled WHAT MAKES A MOHAWK A MOHAWK (posted on almost every lift model page.) In addition, there is a streaming video on the 12,000 and 16,000 lb. capacity 2 post lifts. #2 this is our picture gallery site. It has DETAILS of all the items we might not have printed in every product brochure. This is especially helpful when you're selling a transit fleet, be assured there are photos of transit buses on either mobile lifts, or the parallelogram lifts. If you look around the mobile lift section, you ll find that this area has the most pictures of the 101 special features our lifts have. This picture website has images (in either high or low res) with actual shop photos as well as many pictures only showing the lifts themselves. #3 is our government section. Please check the area marked US DoD MEEP evaluations. This area is full of sales tools, because when you read the evaluations, they're almost an endorsement by the DoD of our lifts. Other sales tools on this site include; #1 The U.S. DoD QRIP (Quick Return Investment Procurement) which shows a man how to justify the cost of a new lift. #2 MEEP evaluations #3 HUBZone status #4 A Defense Dept. Acquisition memo. #5 A listing of Mohawks National Stock Numbers #6 Government Co-ops such as HGAC, MARC and BRCPC #7 Our state contracts #4 this site has all operational, installation and parts manuals. #5 Extranet Site is secured by password ONLY for use by Mohawk distributors. The site allows you to keep track of your leads, weekly sales memos and updates from Mohawk, and will soon contain a photo library of competitive lifts so customers (resellers) can show a prospect the Mohawk VS. Brand X feature. Sorry, but we don't let you in here until you become a family member of Mohawk Lifts. You can take a non-interactive look at
3 #6 is a sample of the basic template website we have built for our reps. If you click the link marked Let s Talk Shop you ll see a chat room, that is sponsored by 7 different Mohawk reps nationally. By joining the (NON- COMPETING) reps together, the COLLECTIVE websites all appear higher on the search engine listings, thereby benefiting all Mohawk reps who decide to have a similar site built (the one time cost is $650). If a lead comes to you from outside of your area, the lead gets forwarded back to Mohawk for distribution to the proper salesperson.
4 Using the Dealer Extranet from Mohawk Lifts 4/2008
5 1) Double click on the Internet Explorer icon from your desktop 2) Enter in in the address line 3) Click on the Dealer Extranet Tab to the far right The next page will appear
6 4) Here is where you enter your address and password, then click the login button to enter the site The next page will appear to manage your personal account 5) Your options here are the tabs at the top; my leads, broadcast s, distributor memos, and my account. All you have to do is click on a tab and it will bring you to that section.
7 6) Your personal page will default to your leads to look over MANAGE MY LEADS: This is a list of leads generated via , website, trade show and magazine inquiries. All you have to do is simply click on the blue font and the lead information will appear for you to contact them. They can be organized by date, company, last name or status This will give you all contact information, and what the prospective customer is interested in buying You can also post notes on what you have done so far in contacting the lead, the conversation and where the prospective buyer is at in the process of purchasing in the lead follow up box at the bottom. BROADCAST S: This is the place where our service and engineering departments post important messages to you To open an , simply click on the blue font and it will allow you to read the message
8 DISTRIBUTOR MEMOS: VERY IMPORTANT!!! This is where we post memos on various topics like; pricing changes, lead information, lift changes, parts changes, etc. It is a GREAT place to find SALES TOOLS! You simply click on the blue font and it will allow you to read the memo, which is also mailed to you. Example of a Distributor Memo posted

Once you are done with your changes- just click the update info button and it will be automatically updated on your account.
