1 COMMUNICATION METRICS Overview This page will allow users to easily search and review information regarding client activity for the practice. Once a practice has logged into epethealth, the Home page is displayed. To access the Communication Metrics, simply click the Communication Metrics button. The Communication Metrics can also be accessed by going to the Practice Tools menu and selecting it from the drop down list at any time. Information available includes being able to see the last successful synch time for the practice, a quick view of the practice s enabled communications, graphical displays of sent services and the potential to search by date range the various types of communications sent, including an exportable list of Pet Owners the communications were sent to. 1. Synch History. This section shows when the last successful synch of data to epethealth for the practice occurred. The time at the end of the line indicates when the synch has finished on the epethealth servers; not when the synch extraction was scheduled to start. 2. Sent Communications History. In this area, a practice can pull information about communications sent to clients based on the different media types, such as s, texts and postal items. a. Sent Services by Media. This area shows sent details by date range and media type. The date range is customizable for whatever data set may be needed, but is automatically displayed for the past 30 days by default. A user is also able to select or deselect different media types using buttons in order to customize the tracking of communication types. Practices can also view or save data to a CSV file, which can be used in conjunction with epethealth Newsletters. i. Start/End date. ii. , Text, Postal, All buttons (Media buttons). These buttons allow a user to view information for the selected media type or all media at once on the chart below. iii. The Chart. This chart shows each type of communication sent, next to the others. Using the media buttons, the chart can show the different communications for either one type of media or all media. Above the chart, a key is listed that shows the different communication types. To the right of the chart is a listing of all the communication types and media types. This shows how many communications were sent for each type. 1 P a g e
2 Click here for CSV File of Statistics. By clicking on the hyperlink, it will create a downloadable CSV or Excel file. The first two items listed in the example below, are newsletters with no corresponding client or pet name. This indicates that a test communication was sent; in this case, the test was for a newsletter. b. Historical Data at a Glance. This area shows historical data by date range and media type that allows for comparison. The date range displays for the last 90 days from the current date by default. It is possible to change the date range. The data will display according to the date range selected: If GREATER THAN 90 days are selected, the data will display in a monthly view. If BETWEEN days are selected, the data will display in a weekly view. If LESS THAN 30 days are selected, the data will display in a daily view. A user is also able to select or deselect different media types using buttons in order to customize the tracking of communication types. To view this data in more detail, a user can go to Practice Tools Reports and select the appropriate reporting tool. Practices can also view or save data to a CSV file, which can be used in conjunction with epethealth Newsletters. i. Start/End Date. 2 P a g e

This chart shows the total communications sent, including all media types, next to each other. Each dot on a line corresponds to a date and data point. When hovered on, it will show the number of items sent. If a communication was not sent during a particular month, there will be a dot at zero because there is no data to be represented. Below the chart, a key is listed that shows the different communication types. c. Link to Surveys Plus/Reputation Builder Metrics. This area of the Communication Metrics page includes a button that allows users to login to the Surveys Plus/Reputation Builder, if the practice is enrolled for either of those services, and view metrics for enhanced survey services. This button is a single sign in feature, meaning that after the initial login, the user would be able to return to Surveys Plus/Reputation Builder without being asking to login again. * If your practice is not currently using Surveys Plus or Reputation Builder and is interested in learning more, there is a link underneath the button for more information. 3. Enabled Communications. This part of the Communication Metrics shows what communication types are available. Each check marked item reflects a feature that is enabled by the practice and sent on 3 P a g e
4 their behalf. To make changes to what is being sent, go to the Client Communications area of epethealth and select the appropriate option to update. 4. Client Subscription Settings. This area allows the practice to see an at-a-glance list of totals of how many pets are subscribed or unsubscribed for each communication and media type. The numbers shown are based on individual pets, not accounts. Practices can also view or save data to a CSV file, which can be used in conjunction with epethealth Newsletters. a. Client Subscriptions. b. Click here for CSV File of Subscription Statistics. By clicking on the hyperlink, it will create a downloadable CSV or Excel file. This file shows the following information: address, client name, pet name, communication types and if the client/pet are subscribed (true = subscribed; false = unsubscribed) and if a cell phone number is available. 5. First Time Logins Stats. This area shows demographic totals of the number of active clients and pets in the system. This is a live number. Because this number is live, it may increase or decrease as a 4 P a g e
5 practice adds or removes clients from their practice management software. The numbers are based on the most recently synch d data. Pets must have at least one invoice, visit, or reminder to be considered active. There is also an exportable CSV file type listing which details clients that have logged into epethealth at least once. Practices can view or save this data to a CSV file, which can be used in conjunction with epethealth Newsletters. a. Active Client Count. is the total number of clients found in the practice management software that have at least one pet with at least one invoice, visit or reminder during the extraction time frame. b. Active Pet Count. is the total number of pets that have at least one invoice, visit, or reminder during the extraction time frame. c. X of Y users have logged in for the first time. The first number listed, X, is the number of active clients in the practice management system, have an address listed, and have logged into epethealth. The second number listed, Y, is the number of active clients in the practice management system, have an address listed, but have not logged into epethealth. This is a live count based on the most recent synch data. *** The addition of X plus Y will not necessarily equal the Active Client Count. For example, it is possible that there 100 active clients (clients with patients that have history), and 50 of those 100 active clients have addresses. Of the 50 active clients with addresses, 30 have logged into epethealth. In that case, the line would read, 30 of 50 users have logged in for the first time. d. Click here for CSV file. This file creates a downloadable Excel spreadsheet that shows the Client Name, the Login Count, Client Id and Address for each client that has logged into epethealth. The LoginCount (how many times that client has logged in) and Client Id are pieces of information that are created within a practice s practice management software. 5 P a g e
