1 Sales Simplicity X Release Notes Version 18.2 All updates included in this release are referring to Sales Simplicity X. If you are still accessing Sales Simplicity via the Legacy application, note that it no longer receives any updates and support is being phased out. Some of these updates only apply to our Subscription users, which are all listed under the separate Subscription Environments Only category. Please contact the Professional Services Training Department at account@salessimplicity.com for additional information or training on the functionality of these updates, or for information about switching to Subscription. If you are unable to see any newly added tab, make sure they are turned on in your User Settings and that you and your users have access to it. 1

3 New Features SSN Field Updated On the Customer>Buyer tab, the field historically labeled as SSN, for capturing social security numbers, has been updated to simply an additional available field to label as needed or hide. The SSN field label has been removed, as has the forced formatting (data previously had to be in format). This was done for security reasons as well as a decline in use. If your company does still utilize the field to store SSN, you will need to add the label back in. If you have already renamed this field, it will be unaffected other than the format restriction on data being lifted. 3

4 Subscription Environments Only Control Center A new tab called the Control Center has been released that will allow users to see a more comprehensive snapshot of the prospects with the most activity. The Control Center is made up of several widgets, with additional widgets and customization coming soon. There is a General View and a Customer-Specific view. The General View is seen when first navigating to the Control Center tab, and the Customer-Specific View is shown when you click on or search for any customer name on the General View. 4

5 General View: The General View focuses on recent activity of all customers assigned to the logged in user. From this view the last 10 customers opened are listed, you can search for additional customers, view and complete any due tasks, view the most recent completed tasks and mark them as incomplete again if needed, view appointments, latest s*, and most recent web visits. Anywhere a customer s name is listed (including when looking them up on Customer Search) it is a link to their Customer-Specific View. 5

6 Customer-Specific View: The Customer-Specific view offers a dashboard about everything relating to a chosen customer s activity and the marketing done to them. From here you can view their Web Visits, current tasks due, recent history, their Individual Demographics*, and quickly add a Note. *Individual Demographics is a new feature, detailed on page 11 6

7 SMS Functionality Expanded On the previous 18.1 release, mass SMS texting functionality was added to the Customer Marketing Tool for those with an integrated Twilio account. This release adds the ability to put an SMS task in a FollowUp Campaign plan in the Builder>FollowUp Admin tab, as well as send a one-off SMS message from a customer s Action pane. SMS Tasks inserted into the follow-up campaign Drag and drop the new SMS icon to the follow-up campaign flowchart to add an SMS task 7

8 A new action has been added to the Action Pane that appears on all Customer tabs. Click this to send a one-off text message to the customer that will be recorded in the customer s history 8

9 Add Lenders and Loan Officers Button Lenders and Loan Officers can now be edited and added directly from the Customer>Mortgages tab. 9

10 This button will trigger a pop-up that looks and functions similar to the Add/Edit Realtor button found on the Customer>Buyer tab. 10

11 Individual Demographics With this release we have introduced a new approach to Demographics; answers will be applied to the customer as an individual, not specific to their single scenarios in which it was entered. Because they will need to work across all communities that an individual might span, they are created from their own tab in the Field Labels section. A new Demographics editor has been created that allows a much more hands-on custom approach to designing the questions. Drag and drop the type of Demographics field you would like to use from the list on the right to the available area on the left 11

12 When the desired field type has been dragged to the editor, buttons to Delete, Edit, or Copy will be available on the top right corner of each field. As soon as any Individual Demographics are added, a new tab will be added to the Customer section with them included. 12

13 Miscellaneous Fixes A variety of minor fixes are included in this release. If you have opened a ticket reporting an issue that has been fixed in this update, you will be notified in the ticket.
