5 How to obtain USER ACCOUNT access within bavel? The following steps will guide you through the process to obtain a user account and password and gain access to bavel s Partner Portal: 1 ACTIVATE ACCOUNT In order to obtain a valid username and password to access the Partner Portal you will need to activate the user s account. There are two ways of activating depending on the system configuration: - Direct activation: The user has received or knows the bavel ID number and the VAT (TaxID) number configured in the system. With these details, it will be possible to complete the whole activation procedure. - Pre-configured activation: The user has already registered the details and the activation procedure will only consist of creating a new password. 1.1 Direct activation The direct activation procedure is as follows: A. The client needs to access the URL and click on the PARTNER PORTAL link as shown below: Figure 1 Next (figure 2), you need to access the option: Activate account Figure 2 A.G. v3.5 Date: 26/02/2015 Page 5 of 11

6 B. In the following window (figure 3), click the OK button after entering the Country and the TAX/User ID numbers. Figure 3 Note: An error message will be displayed in the event the system detects that the entered user (Tax ID or User ID) is not a valid bavel ID. C. A new window will display where different activation details can be entered (figure 4): Login: The user login is used to access the partner portal and it may be alphanumerical with no spaces. The login must be unique; a button is provided in order to check for availability. The activation must be a valid address and will be used to complete the user activation. This address must be unique. Name: Please enter the name of the user. Surname1/2: Please indicate the surname of the user (a 2 nd surname is optional). Enter code: You will be requested to enter a validation code (captcha type) to finish the process. I.e.: 3uxnn in figure 4 example. Accept checkbox: you must accept the service terms & conditions in order to complete the activation process. Figure 4 When all fields are filled in and the system detects no errors, click the OK button to continue the activation procedure. The Cancel button would halt and rest the activation process. 7 D. Once completed, an information message will appear, stating that instructions to set up a username and password has been sent to the provided. Click on the Back to Partner Portal button (fig. 5) to accept the message. Figure 5 E. The system will automatically send an e- mail (figure 6) which contains a link that will enable you to activate your account and generate a password. Click on the link provided to access the activation page (figure 6). Figure 6 Note: this link will remain active for a time period of 7 days. Once this period has lapsed it will not be possible to change the password. This link can only be used once. Figure 7 F. On this URL (figure 7) you will receive your user Login and a field to introduce the password. The password must meet the following conditions: - Must have at least 8 characters. - Must contain at least one number, one uppercase and one lowercase letter. - Cannot be equal or contain the login. For security reasons you will need to introduce the password twice. You will also be requested to enter a validation code (Captcha type) to complete the process. I.e.: uywur in figure 7 example. 8 Once all data is filled in and the system has accepted a valid password (please note the time requirement mentioned in the above note), the system will log you in automatically and display the user menu of the partner portal. 1.2 Pre-configured activation The pre-configured activation procedure is as follows: A. The system will automatically send an (figure 8) which contains a link to a webpage that will enable you to activate your account and generate a password. Click on the link provided to access the activation page (figure 8). Note: this link will remain active for a time period of 7 days. Once this period has lapsed it will not be possible to change the password. This link can only be used once. Figure 8 B. On this URL (figure 9) you will receive your user Login, and the option to introduce the password. The password must meet the following conditions: - Must have at least 8 characters. - Must contain at least one number, one uppercase and one lowercase letter. - Cannot be equal or contain the login. The password must contain 8 characters minimum and you will not be allowed to change the login. For security reasons you will need to introduce the password twice. Once all data is filled in and the system has accepted a valid password (please note the time requirement mentioned in the above note), the system will log you in automatically and display the user menu of the partner portal. 9 2 FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD? When the password or user name has been lost or forgotten you can retrieve it by selecting the Forgotten your password option from the Partner Portal menu. 1. The client can access the WEB address and press on the link Partner Portal as shown below (figure 10): Figure 10 Next (figure 11), you need to click on the option Forgotten your password? 10 B. A new window will display asking for an address. The entered must be the same as previously agreed with your partner. The system will send an to this address with the instructions to renew the password You will also be requested to enter a validation code (Captcha type) to finish the process. I.e.: g4af3 Click the Send button to continue (figure 12). Figure 12 The following window will display the success sending the with the user name and password. Click the OK button to return to the Partner Portal access page (figure 13). Figure 13 Note: once the request has been sent, the system will lock the password reminder option for 1h. 11 C. The system will automatically send an (figure 14) which contains a link that will enable you to confirm and generate a new password. Click on the link provided to access the activation page (figure 14). Figure 14 Note: this link will remain active for a time period of 1h. Once this period has lapsed it will not be possible to change the password. This link can only be used once. D. On this URL (figure 15) you will receive your user Login, and the option to renew the password. The password must meet the following conditions: - Must have at least 8 characters. - Must contain at least one number, one uppercase and one lowercase letter. - Cannot be equal or contain the login. The password must contain 8 characters minimum and you will not be allowed to change the login. For security reasons you will need to introduce the password twice.
