3 Log Into AdPro To access AdPro, enter your User Name and Password, and then click Sign in. Upon logging in, the AdPro landing page displays three sections Explore, Campaigns, and Help Center. Apply TAB (Traffic Audit Bureau) Explorer Open the TAB Explorer to begin your media location search using the TAB database, which contains Out- Of-Home (OOH) media locations in markets across the country. Using TAB s database, AdPro can: o o Calculate and display demographic audience, reach, and frequency estimates. Facilitate planning, buying, and selling out-of-home media advertising using audience information Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 3
4 From the Home window, click TAB Explorer (outlined in green). AdPro displays a map with a list of functions in the right panel. Log Into TAB On the Tab Explorer window, the TAB Login dialog displays. To apply TAB data, type your Username and Password, and then click Login. You can also Cancel to close the dialog or select Work Without TAB Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 4
5 Log Off AdPro or TAB As outlined in yellow in the upper right of the Explorer window, click AdPro Log Off or TAB Log Off, as appropriate. Navigate within AdPro To return to the Home window, click Home in the upper left of the Explorer window (outlined in green). At the bottom of the window, you can go to a specific page and click the arrows to navigate forward or backward within selected locations. Explorer Window The window that opens displays a map with clusters of available advertising sites within the contiguous US Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 5
6 1. Navigate to the appropriate advertising site. As you zoom to a location, the site clusters become more specific. Use the displayed map to focus on areas that contain the target markets for your advertising combined with available media opportunities. 2. Optionally, use the Search box at the upper left of the screen to type, for example, an address, zip code, or panel number to zoom to a target market area Intermap Technologies. 7 3. Zoom to the appropriate media cluster and AdPro displays the specific advertising sites contained within that media cluster. Reach and Frequency Calculations 1. On the right, click the appropriate drop-downs to select Market Type, Market, and Demo Category. 2. The Demographic drop-down is affected by the Demo Category you select. 3. Reach and Frequency Calculations also displays a specific campaign s Impressions, GRP/TRP, Reach, and Frequency. 4. On the right, click the appropriate drop-downs to select Market Type, Market, and Demo Category. The Demographic drop-down is affected by the Demo Category you select. 5. 8 Current Location 1. Expand the Current Location to display Actions, which are analytical tools that provide detailed data about a location. 2. Click the caret on the right and hover over each icon to see its label 2D Map, Street View, 3D Map, Exposure, Proximity Ruler, and Draw Tool. Points of Interest In the right panel, expand Points of Interest, and then click Add New Layer to apply a new layer to the map. The Add New POI Layer dialog displays Intermap Technologies. 9 Predefined Points of Interest 1. Click the Predefined Points of Interest radio button to set the Predefined Layers and the Appearance of the marker icon. 2. Click the corresponding drop-down to apply Layers, and then click the appropriate Marker icon under Appearance. 3. Click Add Layer at the bottom of the window to apply your preferences. AdPro displays the new layer in the Points Of Interest section and applies the new layer to the existing map Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 9
10 Custom Points of Interest 1. On the Add New POI Layer window, click the Custom Points of Interest radio button to apply Layer Type, Description, Content definition, and Appearance. 2. Type the appropriate Layer Name. 3. Click the appropriate Category from the drop-down list, and then type a corresponding Keyword. 4. Under Appearance, click the appropriate Marker icon Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 10
11 5. Click Add Layer at the bottom of the window to apply your preferences. Demographics 1. Expand Demographics in the right panel to apply specific filters to a map and better understand the population surrounding a certain site. 2. As appropriate, click Do not show demographics or Google Demographics. 3. Click Settings to open the Nielson Extended Geographics dialog. 4. Click the appropriate Geography, Year, and Gradient Field in the Map section Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 11
12 5. In the Filter section, click Criteria, click the appropriate population demographics to apply more narrowly defined filters to the site, and then click Add. 6. Under the Info Window section, click Fields, click a population to apply, and then click Add. Note: AdPro toggles between Add and Remove for the Criteria and Fields. 7. To save the changes you made in the Nielson Extended Geographics dialog, click OK at the bottom of the dialog. Traffic 1. To view traffic patterns that affect your campaign s visibility, expand the Traffic tab. The color legend displays the traffic speed Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 12
13 2. As applicable, click Disable Traffic or Speed. 3. To customize traffic speed settings, click Speed, and then click Settings. The Traffic Speed Settings dialog opens; use this dialog to view the traffic patterns of a specific day and time for the campaign area. 4. Click the appropriate Day. 5. Use the slider bar to set the Time, which is in 24-hour military time format, and then click OK. AdPro also allows you to view traffic congestion at a specific site. 6. If necessary, click Congestion, and then click Settings Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 13
14 The Traffic Congestion Settings dialog opens. 7. Click the appropriate Day. 8. Use the slider bar to set the Time, which is in 24-hour military time format, and then click OK. Under Public Transit, click either Show or Hide, as appropriate. Reports To view the campaign s data in an Excel spreadsheet, click Export to Excel Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 14
15 Manage/Build Campaigns Use the Campaigns functionality to apply updated vendor location data using the map interface. From the Home window, click Manage/Build Campaigns (outlined in green). The Campaign Actions window displays Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 15
16 Create a New Campaign 1. Click Create New Campaign to open the Create Campaign window. 2. In the Campaign Details section, type: The Campaign Name The campaign name reflects the campaign item and goal. For example, if you are working with Subway on a new sandwich campaign, the campaign name could be Buffalo Chicken Sub and the client would be Subway. The name of the Client Note: If the client already exists in AdPro, simply click the appropriate Client from the dropdown list. 17 TAB Demographics Use the Create Campaign window to add TAB information to your campaign. 1. From the respective drop-downs, click the appropriate: Market Type (optional) Market Category (optional) Demographic Group 2. Type the values for: Reach Goal Frequency Goal GRP (Gross Rating Point) Goal Impressions Goal 2014 Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 17
18 Locations and Sites AdPro allows you to upload specific locations and sites. 1. As necessary, click Choose File, navigate to and click the appropriate File in Windows, and then click Open. 19 Click Location Ingest Template to view the campaign s location data in an Excel spreadsheet. Click Client Sites Excel Format Help to display the Sites Ingest Help window. Click Sites Ingest Template to view the campaign s site data in an Excel spreadsheet. 2. Click Create Campaign at the end of the Create Campaign window Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 19
20 Create New Campaign From Existing If necessary, click the Campaign Actions link (outlined in green) to return to the Campaign Actions window. 1. On the Campaign Actions window, click Create New Campaign From Existing. The Select Campaign window displays. 2. Under Campaign List, type the Start Date, End Date, and the name of the Client. 3. If appropriate, type Notes. 4. Click Apply Filter. Note: To remove the filter, click Clear Filter Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 20
21 5. Under Campaigns: To create a new campaign from an existing one, click Create New. The Create Campaign window displays. Follow the steps listed in the Create a New Campaign section. To choose an existing campaign, highlight the appropriate campaign, and then click Select. The Create Campaign window displays and the fields reflect the data from the existing campaign. The navigation path displays the Clone Campaign window. Browse Campaigns 1. From the Campaign Actions window, click Browse Campaigns to manage existing campaigns Intermap Technologies. 22 2. Use the fields in the Filter section to sort campaigns by applying a Start Date, End Date, Client, or Notes, and then click Apply Filter. 3. Click Clear Filter to reset the Filter fields. 4. In addition, click the appropriate Campaign in the Campaigns list. 5. Click Create New to open the Create Campaign window; follow the steps listed in the Create a New Campaign section. 6. Click Download Contents. AdPro creates a zip file of the selected campaign and downloads it to a default location on your computer Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 22
23 7. Click the zip file to open it in Excel. 8. Click Delete to remove the appropriate campaign from the Campaigns List. 9. Click Yes at the confirmation prompt. 10. Click Details to open the Campaign Details window. The Campaign Details window displays prepopulated fields under the Campaign Details section that correspond to the appropriate Campaign Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 23
24 Click Save Changes to save changes made to the current Campaign. Click Custom Icon Settings to manage the custom icons for the campaign planner and define the owner-specific colors and media type-specific shapes to appear on the map Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 24
25 Click Manage Documents to view, add, modify, and delete documents associated with the Campaign. Click Share Campaign to share this campaign, maps, and documents over the web Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 25
26 Click Share Page Preview to display this screen with Campaigns and Panels sections. Click Download all documents in zip file or Download to download the file to a default location on your computer Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 26
27 Click Manage Sites to manage the client sites associated with the Campaign. The Manage Sites dialog opens. In the Manage Sites section, click Add New to add an additional client site to the Campaign Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 27
28 The Add Client Site dialog opens. Click Edit or Delete to make changes to a site or remove a site Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 28
29 In the Campaign Details/Actions section, click Edit Campaign Locations (outlined in blue) to make and save changes to uploaded locations. The Location Editor window displays. Under Panel Details: Type any additional location details City, State, Zip, Address, Type, and/or Size. If applicable, select the Illuminated checkbox. Click the Facing and Reading dropdowns. Click the respective navigation tools in the satellite and street view panels to obtain the appropriate perspective. Enter Height in feet. Using seconds, enter Spot and Loop. Enter any appropriate Notes. If applicable, select the Use Street View or Use Stock Photo checkbox Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 29
30 Click Preview Image to check and adjust your specifications. If necessary, AdPro allows you to Upload Photo to use for the stock photo Intermap Technologies. All Rights Reserved. 30
