5 1 Introduction 1.1 OBJECTIVE This User Guide documents the features of InsitePro, a Web-based application that utilizes Intermap s best-in-class elevation data to provide fast, address-specific flood and fire risk information. InsitePro allows you to add any peril information, such as an earthquake, and provides easy portfolio upload, a uniform worldwide flood model, and data export for risk management, risk assessment, and risk analysis. 1.2 FEATURES OF INSITEPRO InsitePro encompasses: Risk mitigation Global SaaS risk management solution for governments and enterprises Data integrity that includes Intermap s proprietary WorldFlood and USA WildFire models High volume capability to analyze thousands of locations in minutes Quick access to full risk visualization, analysis hazard maps, and portfolio locations InsitePro contains six areas of functionality Portfolios, Overlays, Analysis, Underwriting, Reports, and User. The features of Portfolios pertain to groups of properties. Underwriting features are more related to a single-point location. 6 2 Minimum Configuration 2.1 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS InsitePro runs on servers that have this minimum configuration: Quadcore processor 32 GB memory Sufficient storage for the data and tile cache 2.2 OPERATING SYSTEM InsitePro currently runs on PCs only. System Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2012 or newer. 2.3 SUPPORTED BROWSERS The most compatible browsers for InsitePro are: Firefox Chrome Sil Safari Internet Explorer 9+ Copyright Intermap Technologies. 7 3 Portfolios 3.1 OPEN THE PORTFOLIO LIST Click Portfolios in the right panel to access the list of portfolios. InsitePro displays the existing portfolios with Open, Delete, and Details functions; you can also create a new portfolio. 3.2 SEARCH FOR A PORTFOLIO To search for a specific portfolio, type the relevant address into the Search text field in the upper left of the Portfolios thumbnails window Open a Portfolio 1. Click Open to access the appropriate portfolio. Figure 2. List of Portfolios Note: Depending on the scale of the map, InsitePro clusters areas of portfolio locations that cannot be individually plotted. The clusters are labeled with the number of locations they contain. To view locations in a cluster, click the appropriate cluster to zoom to the locations. Copyright Intermap Technologies. 8 3.2.1 Open a Portfolio, continued 2. Click one of the symbols outlined in green (Zoom to, Edit, or Delete) to manipulate a portfolio s map view. Figure 3. Zoom to, Edit, and Delete icons Search for a Location To search for a specific location on the map, type the relevant address into the Place Search text field in the upper left of the InsitePro map. 9 Use the Measuring Tool Use the measuring tool to display the horizontal and vertical distance and elevation between points on the map. 1. Zoom to the appropriate area on the basemap. In this example, General Hospital is highlighted. Figure 4. Zoom To Icon 2. Click the measuring tool (outlined in yellow). A blank box opens and the cursor changes to a navigation tool icon. 10 Use the Measuring Tool, continued 3. Click the appropriate start point (A) on the map and then click the appropriate end point (B). Figure 6. Navigation Start and End Points InsitePro displays the distance and elevation between those two points. The maximum distance displayed is one mile (1,609 meters). To change the units of measurement: o Click User in the right panel, and then click Units. o Set your preference for units of measurement (Feet or Meters), and then click Save Changes. 11 Edit a Location 1. Select a location in one of two ways: Click the location in the map window. Click the location in the data table. The location example highlighted is General Hospital. Figure 7. Data Table Example 2. Click the Edit icon to the immediate left of the location; the Edit dialog displays. 3. In the editable text field, type a new Name. Note: Latitude and longitude table values are not editable. Figure 8. Edit Dialog Delete a Location 1. You can delete a specific location in one of two ways: o Click the appropriate location in the map window. o Highlight the appropriate location in the data table. 2. Click the X. Sort Table Locations To sort locations, click the appropriate column header to toggle between ascending and descending order. Copyright Intermap Technologies. All rights Reserved. 11

12 Add a New Location 1. Right-click the appropriate point on the portfolio map. Alternatively, click the symbol highlighted in green to add a new location to a portfolio. This is a less accurate way to add a new location, since InsitePro uses the center of the displayed map as the latitude and longitude coordinates point. Figure 9. Add New Record Icon InsitePro opens the Edit dialog with prepopulated latitude and longitude fields that reflect the location you selected. The latitude and longitude coordinates are in the required decimal degrees format. 2. Type the appropriate Name for the new record, and then click Save. Figure 10. 14 3.2.2 Delete a Portfolio 1. To remove a portfolio, click Delete on that portfolio s thumbnail. Figure 13. Delete a Portfolio 2. Click OK at the confirmation prompt. 3. 15 3.2.3 Details of a Portfolio 1. Click Portfolios in the right panel to open the Portfolios list. 2. Hover over the appropriate portfolio, and then click Details. The Portfolio Detail window opens, displaying that portfolio s Overview, Information which includes the number of locations in the portfolio, the date the portfolio was uploaded to InsitePro, and the date modified with new locations or Analysis output and Notes, which is an editable text field. Figure 15. Portfolio Detail Window The functions available on the Portfolio Detail window are Open, Delete, Export to CSV (Comma Separated Value), and Save Changes. 16 Delete 1. To remove a portfolio, click Delete, and then click OK at the confirmation prompt. 2. Click Cancel to return to Portfolio Detail. Export to CSV Figure 16. Delete Confirmation Prompt InsitePro accepts CSV files for portfolio creation. The CSV file format is a default for sharing data among different software applications. Note: Each CSV file used to create a portfolio must contain respective columns for Name, Latitude, and Longitude. You can include as many columns as necessary. Row 1 in the spreadsheet must contain column headers; cell A1 cannot contain an ID. 1. Click Export to CSV to output the current portfolio. Note: If you are using InsitePro within the Internet Explorer 9 environment, InsitePro instead prints all the output to a browser tab. 17 Export to CSV, continued InsitePro downloads an Excel file, saving it to the default location where your browser is configured to save files. Figure 17. Export to CSV When you export to CSV, the current portfolio is output and the information is separated into cells in an Excel spreadsheet. 2. 19 Create a New Portfolio InsitePro allows you to create as many portfolios as necessary. Your organization s InsitePro license determines the number of locations you are able to analyze. 1. After clicking Portfolios in the right panel, click Create New (outlined in blue). Figure 20. Create a New Portfolio InsitePro displays the New Portfolio Wizard dialog. 2. Type the Name and any Notes for the new portfolio. Figure 21. New Portfolio Wizard 3. Click Browse to navigate to the applicable file to add to the portfolio. 4. In the Windows folder that opens, click the appropriate.csv format file, and then click Open. The file displays in the New Portfolio Wizard dialog. 5. Click Create. Copyright Intermap Technologies. 20 4 Overlays 4.1 OVERVIEW Open Overlays in the right panel to customize a basemap s appearance Portfolio Section Hide Locations in the Map To hide locations on the map, clear the portfolio name s checkbox (outlined in green on the following screenshot). Select the checkbox again to reactivate the map s locations. Display the Data Table Use one of two ways to toggle between displaying or hiding the data table from the map window: o Click the grid icon (outlined in blue). o Click the X in the upper right of the data table (outlined in red). 21 4.1.2 Basemap Section Hybrid The Hybrid view combines Roadmap, Satellite, and Terrain views. Roadmap Figure 23. 22 4.1.2 Basemap Section, continued Terrain To apply a topographic map view to a location, select Terrain. Figure 26. Overlays/Basemap Section/Terrain View Models Section Intermap Technologies provides the WorldFlood RTP (Return Time Period) and the FireIndex data overlays. The FEMA model lists the Special Flood Hazard Areas, in addition to: The Base Flood Elevation, where available The Distance to Special Flood Hazard Zone (SFHZ) The Depth of Base Flood The Distance to water The Height above water Data for Storm Surge for the USA s East Coast and Gulf Coast is from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA. InsitePro uses the Maximum of the Mean Slosh (MOMS) models at High Tide. If you have your own FEMA models you want to use, Intermap adds them to the Overlays tab as a professional service. 23 InsitePro outputs the model data for single, analyzed locations to a log; multiple locations are output to a CSV file. You can also add and delete logs and CSV files. Note: The colors used for the corresponding models are predefined. For reference, the Models are displayed side by side. 24 5 Analysis 5.1 OVERVIEW Use Analysis to compare the currently selected portfolio against any of the available overlays. InsitePro applies an overlay to each location to determine the output specific to each model. 5.2 ANALYZE A PORTFOLIO 1. Click Analysis in the right panel to view a record of each location in a portfolio. 2. Click Analyze to run the data for the appropriate location. InsitePro displays a progress bar during the analysis, and then displays a date/timestamp and a Completed Status for the analysis. 3. Click Show Report to go to the report page for a completed analysis and to view information pertaining to a specific location. The same data displays when you click Reports in the right panel. 25 5.2 ANALYZE A PORTFOLIO, CONTINUED 4. Click Portfolio Download (outlined in blue) to view an output glossary that defines the analysis columns. 5. 26 6 Underwriting 6.1 OVERVIEW Underwriting works with a single point location and functions independently of the features in Portfolio. 6.2 ANALYZE A SINGLE LOCATION 1. Click Underwriting in the right panel to open the Underwriting Analysis dialog, which is dockable anywhere on the screen. Note: If you have opened InsitePro using Internet Explorer 9, the Underwriting Analysis dialog is not dockable. Figure 31. Underwriting Analysis Dialog 2. In the Find Location editable text field, type one of these three search values: A physical address, The name of a structure, The coordinates for latitude and longitude in decimal degrees, separated by a comma. Alternatively, you can drag and drop a specific location on the map window, or pin, and drop it onto the Find Location text field. InsitePro takes the coordinate information from the center of the map window, so latitude and longitude values are less exact. Copyright Intermap Technologies. All rights Reserved. 26

Click the Send To drop-down to select the appropriate output location Save text file, Printer, or Copy text to clipboard. Figure 33. 28 7 Reports 7.1 RUN A PORTFOLIO REPORT 1. Click Reports in the right panel, and then click Portfolio Download, Elevation, FEMA, Wildfire, or WorldFlood, as needed. 30 8 User 8.1 VIEW PORTFOLIO USAGE Click User in the right panel, and then click Portfolio Usage to view the total number of locations uploaded to InsitePro. 31 8.1.1 Add Users System Administrators open the Users section to add or remove users from an organization. Since there is no limit to the number of users within an organization, there is no administrative control on Users. 1. To add a user, click Users, and then scroll to the end of the displayed list. 2. 34 InsitePro FAQ 3D BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE GENERAL HOW DO I CHANGE THE BASEMAP? Navigate to the Overlays tab and select your choice. WHO PROVIDES THE BASEMAP IMAGERY FOR MY AREA OF INTEREST (AOI)? Google Maps currently provides all basemaps for InsitePro. This can be changed on a custom basis. HOW DO I SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC LOCATION? Type the address into the Place search field in the top left of the InsitePro map. HOW DO I CHANGE THE COLORS OR SYMBOLS OF FEATURES WITHIN INSITEPRO? The current version of InsitePro does not support custom symbolization. This functionality will be available in future releases. HOW DO I LOG OUT OF INSITEPRO? There is a Logout button in the User tab. PORTFOLIOS WHAT FILE TYPES CAN I USE TO CREATE A PORTFOLIO? InsitePro currently accepts CSV files for portfolio creation. Future releases will allow portfolio creation from a wider range of file types, including XLS and KML. IS THERE A TABLE SCHEMA THAT MY CSV FILE MUST FOLLOW? Each CSV file used to create a portfolio must contain a column for: 1. Name 2. Latitude 3. Longitude Row 1 must contain column headers, and Cell A1 must not contain ID. I ONLY HAVE ADDRESSES FOR MY LOCATIONS. HOW DO I CREATE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE INFORMATION FROM THEM? The addresses need to be Geocoded. Intermap offers Geocoding as a Professional Service. Geocoding will be introduced into the InsitePro product, starting with single locations in the second release, followed by full portfolio Geocoding in late HOW MANY PORTFOLIOS CAN I CREATE? You can create as many portfolios as you would like. The InsitePro license that your organization has agreed to will determine how many locations you are able to analyze. HOW DO I ADD AN INDIVIDUAL RECORD TO MY PORTFOLIO? You can add new items to your portfolio in two different ways: 1. Right-click on a location on the map viewer where you would like to add an item and enter a name. 2. Open the Portfolios tab, click the Create New icon on the left corner of your browser window and enter a name. InsitePro creates an item in the center of your map window. HOW DO I EDIT THE NAME, LATITUDE, AND LONGITUDE VALUES FOR THE INDIVIDUAL LOCATION I ADDED? First, select the record by either clicking on it within the map window or highlighting the record within the data table, then click the Edit icon to the immediate left of the record. A dialog appears allowing you to input a new name. All table values within the portfolio can be edited except Latitude, Longitude, and analysis output values. HOW DO I REMOVE AN INDIVIDUAL RECORD? First, select the record by either clicking on it within the map window or highlighting the record within the data table, and then click the X icon to the immediate left of the record. CAN I SYMBOLIZE MY LOCATIONS BY ONE OF THE COLUMNS IN THE ANALYZED DATA? FOR EXAMPLE, SIZE THEM BY THE MAXIMUM DEPTH OR COLOR THEM BY THE FLOOD EXPOSURE POTENTIAL? Future versions of InsitePro will offer the ability to customize feature symbolization based on location attributes. HOW DO I SORT MY RECORDS IN THE TABLE? Click on a column header to toggle between ascending and descending order. WHAT DO THE NUMBERS IN BLUE OR YELLOW CIRCLES INDICATE ON THE MAP? These are clusters of locations that cannot be individually plotted on the map at the current scale. Clicking on the circle, zooms in to the location cluster. OVERLAYS CAN I ADD MODELS TO INSITEPRO? Yes, you can add models to InsitePro. If you have your own models, Intermap can add them to the Overlays tab as a Professional Service. 36 CAN I BUILD MY OWN MODELS IN INSITEPRO? No, InsitePro is not for building models. CAN I RUN SCENARIO ANALYSIS WITH INSITEPRO? No, InsitePro does not run scenarios. CAN I CHANGE THE COLORS USED FOR THE FLOOD RTP? The colors for RTP zones are pre-defined in the current release. HOW DO I ADD ADDITIONAL REFERENCE DATA (GIS) TO THE MAP? Future releases of InsitePro will enable the uploading of GIS data into InsitePro. WHY, WITHIN SOME AREAS, DOES THE FLOOD MAP NOT OVERLAY (I.E., ARE OFFSET) PRECISELY WITH RIVERS AND LAKES? Depending on the basemap that you choose to overlay the flood models over, there may be inaccuracies visible. All of the data overlays provided by Intermap Technologies, such as the WorldFlood RTP and Wildfire, are created using the most accurate elevation and reference data available; often more accurate than freely available imagery and basemap data. In addition, several governments have modified their imagery and street network data made available publicly within Google and Microsoft mapping programs for security reasons. WHERE CAN I FIND THE RELEASE SCHEDULE FOR UPDATED FLOOD MAPS? Please contact Ivan Maddox, the Product Manager for InsitePro, at imaddox@intermap.com. HOW DO I HIDE THE TABLE FROM THE MAP SCREEN? Within the Overlays tab, click the grid icon under Portfolio, or from within the table, click the X within the upper right of the table. Clicking either of these buttons also reactivates the table view. HOW DO I HIDE THE LOCATIONS ON THE MAP? Within the Overlays tab, uncheck the Portfolio name under Portfolio. Rechecking this box reactivates the locations in the map. ANALYSIS WHAT IS ANALYSIS? The Analysis tab allows you to analyze the currently selected portfolio against any of the available overlays. Analysis correlates each location with an overlay to determine the output specific to each model. For example, analysis against WorldFlood outputs the flood risk for each location based on the model. WHAT DO ALL THE NEW COLUMNS OF ANALYSIS REPRESENT? The output glossary can be found in Reports, within the Portfolio Legend. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CLICK ON SHOW REPORT? After clicking the Analysis tab, click the Show Report link to go to the Report page for a completed analysis. IS THERE AN ANALYSIS TOOL FOR UNDERWRITERS? An Underwriting Module is planned for release in the second half of IS THERE A MEASURING TOOL? A CSV file of the currently selected portfolio is exported to your desktop. CAN I CHOOSE WHAT COLUMNS OF DATA ARE INCLUDED IN MY EXPORT? Currently, there is no control over the columns output in the CSV file; future versions of InsitePro will support this functionality. CAN I EXPORT OTHER FILE FORMATS? The initial version of InsitePro only exports CSV files; future versions will support this functionality. CAN I SAVE THE MAP AS AN IMAGE? Currently, the initial version of InsitePro does not support this functionality; future versions will allow maps to be exported as a file or image. CAN I PRINT THE MAP? Yes, via the Print Screen function; future versions of InsitePro will support additional printing options for the map. WHAT INFORMATION IS CONTAINED WITHIN THE REPORTS? Date Analyzed is when the analysis was conducted (i.e., your local time zone). Outside Measured Area is the percentage of the portfolio outside the zones of that risk model. Number of Records is the number of locations in the portfolio. The Pie Chart represents the distribution of the portfolio locations within each risk zone. USER WHAT DOES PORTFOLIO USAGE REFER TO? This is the total number of locations uploaded into InsitePro. There is an annual limit associated with the specific tier purchased by your organization. WHAT INFORMATION CAN I FIND WITHIN USERS? The Users tab allows account administrators to add or remove users from an organization. There is no administrative control on this function because organizations are allowed to have as many users as they want. HOW DO I ADD A USER? From the User tab, click Users, and then, at the end of the list, click +New User. Complete the information for the new user via the Create User wizard. WHAT IS THE LOGOUT BUT TON FOR? This logs the current user out of InsitePro.
