4 Executive Summary The following report contains the results of Milestone Certified Solution tests performed on the Oncam 360 o video dewarping XProtect Smart Client plugin integration. The tests were intended to verify that all the intended functionality of the plugin is available when the solution is successfully integrated. During this process, Milestone engineers reviewed all documentation covering the plugin solution and documented the expected functionality of the integration. Oncam confirmed that the documented functionality met customer expectations, and the test plan for the certification was designed to verify that each documented item of functionality was present when Oncam Evolution 360 o surveillance cameras, the dewarping plugin, and XProtect were installed, integrated, and operational. The tests environments were installed and integrated by Milestone engineers, and all functionality was verified by Milestone engineers working hands-on with the test system. Performance of the solution may vary if different XProtect products and/or system components not listed in the tests details are included.

5 Technical Requirements: The Oncam plugin is only for the XProtect Smart Client. It is installed on each Smart Client workstation independently. When initially installing the plugin files, it is important that the Smart Client is turned off during the installation. The default location for the plugin is in this location: C:\Program Files\Milestone\XProtect Smart Client\MIPPlugins\OncamGrandeye360\ The only requirement for the successful integration of the Plugin is that the Smart Client version is 7.0b or higher. There is a measurable performance impact on the Smart Client workstation when the plugin is working to dewarp the native 360 o video. Milestone always recommends to change the default username and choose a strong (15 characters or more) password on any installed camera for the purposes of increased cybersecurity. You can download the Oncam camera configuration utility at this link: Performance Impact: To measure the impact of the plugin on the performance of an XProtect Smart Client workstation Milestone engineers compared the performance of a workstation that was not using the plugin, to the same workstation which was using the plugin. The primary focus of this comparison was on the impact to the CPU utilization and the Memory consumption. The two tested scenarios are detailed as follows: Baseline scenario: Camera Views Resolution Frame Rate Codec CPU% Memory 3x Simulated 1920x H % 1.54 GB cameras Integrated Plugin scenario: Camera Views Resolution Frame Rate Codec CPU% Memory 3x Oncam 3200x H % 1.92 GB EVO12

6 Obviously, in the scenario with the plugin, the resolution of the images was much higher, even though each of the three view items contained a plugin which was only displaying a portion of the entire image resolution. There was much more data in the integrated solution streaming to the Smart Client, and as expected the increase on the CPU utilization was considerable. This needs to be considered during the specification and engineering of any system that will make use of these dewarping plugins. Currently, there are no dewarping plugins which take advantage of the hardware acceleration features which XProtect has available. Integrated Functionality The list of integrated functionalities that was verified by the Milestone Certification process is listed below, all functionality will be available in a successfully installed and integrated surveillance system that utilizes XProtect and the Oncam plugin. Oncam Dewarping Plugin Integrated Functionality with XProtect Smart Client: Item # Function Description 1 Drag and Drop Plugin View Item into Smart Client Pane In the system overview pane of the XProtect Smart Client, while in Setup mode, you can drag the Oncam 360 plugin into any pane in the available view. 2 Select available Oncam cameras to display in the Plugin. Click on the camera setup icon in the lower right corner of the plugin view pane and open a camera selection window with all cameras in the XProtect system available to select. The chosen camera will be displayed by the Oncam 360 plugin.

7 3 Display Dewarped video in both live and playback modes of the Smart Client. The Oncam 360 plugin works to display dewarped video that is streaming live, and the fisheye video that is recorded to the XProtect Recording Server can also be dewarped and viewed while playing back the recorded video. 4 Configure Digital PTZ views and save them. Each Plugin view item in the Smart Client can display a separate digital PTZ configured view from one or more Oncam cameras. These views can be saved and they will persist when each view is loaded in the Smart Client, and they will persist between logins.

10 7 Display Settings There are several image quality and display settings which can be adjusted within a pop-up menu directly in the Smart Client. 8 About Open the about pop-up menu to check the version of the Plugin which is installed on that Smart Client workstation.

11 Conclusion The Oncam Dewarping Plugin solution for integration with Milestone XProtect Smart Client is a certified solution. All the functionality listed in this document is achievable in a system installed and integrated by authorized partners of Milestone and Oncam. Milestone and Oncam collaborated to define the functionality that this solution brings to their customers, and using a system designed to replicate realistic surveillance installations, both parties verified that the solution indeed delivers the promised functionality. The additional functionality this solution offers for dewarping and displaying 360 o video from Oncam cameras is reliable and repeatable. Any XProtect system which could benefit from the use of 360 o video cameras, and dewarped viewing of live and recorded video, with predefined view settings and types, could make great use of this integration from Oncam.
