5 VOCATIONAL DEGREE APPLICATIONS WEB WEB APPLICATIONS MOBILE APPLICATIONS AND INTERNET OF THINGS To take part in the design, development, implementation and deployment of applications and services based on web technologies, both front-end and back-end. To contribute to the definition of the architecture of information systems by identifying, designing and integrating components for web, mobile and IoT services and applications. To analyse and include needs and non-functional constraints in the development process: security, performance, scale, legal requirements, usages and ergonomics. To appropriate emerging tools and technologies using varied and selected external resources. VOCATIONAL DEGREE SOUND AND IMAGE TECHNIQUES 3D COMPUTER GRAPHICS To train versatile 3D computer graphics designers capable of autonomously carrying through a 3D computer graphics project. 3D computer graphics designers may be involved in one or more of the stages of the creative and artistic production process as well as the technical and organisational aspects of a 3D production (advertisements, video games, animated films, 3D animation) and the preparation, application and finishing of the product. Graduates will be equipped to work in different types of organisation: advertising agencies, multimedia or audiovisual production companies, communication branches or departments within companies or institutions, local television stations or web television channels. They will be the ideal direct contact for the commissioning client, as they will be capable of taking part in every stage from the definition and writing of the specification to the production of the end product. 6 3 DUTs 2-YEAR COURSES LEADING TO A QUALIFICATION & AS AN ADVANCED TECHNICIAN Courses are organised over 4 semesters. Courses alternate lectures (CM), seminars (TD) and practicals (TP). Students receive strong pedagogical and methodological support, in particular through tutored projects. Saint-Dié A genuinely vocational focus Tutored projects enable students to pull together the knowledge they have acquired in a number of work-based assignments demanding a methodological progression. A work placement gives them the chance to experience a genuine immersion in the world of work. During the placement, the student will have to demonstrate his/her skills, a spirit of initiative and the ability to adapt. Students also have the opportunity to spend a study period abroad under the European Erasmus scheme (a semester at an educational institution or an internship abroad). Students also have the possibility of taking external exams such as the TOEIC, SST, Siemens certification (for GEII students).
