I.) Introduction Once again, congratulations on your PartyBox PhotoBooth purchase. At this stage of the process you have the initial set-up of the Frame and the Accessories. In this manual, you will learn how to operate the booth, you will become familiar with the optimum settings that your computer should be on, and you will learn how to troubleshoot when settings are changed. Our focus here is to get you familiar with the PhotoBoof v7.22 software so that all of your events flow smoothly. II.) General Settings When you open the PhotoBooth Program, a Black screen will appear with a blue PartyBox rectangle in the middle that reads: PartyBox PhotoBooth is warming up one moment please. - Hit the ESC key You will now have two windows: 1) PartyBoxPhotoBooth v7.22 (registered) 2) Moving Images 3

In the General Settings section, we will go over all of the fixed settings and show you a snapshot of them so that you will have it for your records. These settings are designed to operate for the Single PartyBox Photo Strip. We will go over all of the important settings in these two windows to make sure that your booth is running properly. 1.) PartyBoxPhotoBooth v7.22 (registered) In this window, we will cover the following settings: - Preferences - Configure Printing - Layout Editor - Launch Reprinting Utility All others can be disregarded. Preferences The main setting to check here is the Photo layout. This tells the program what type of print to make. Click Test to ensure the correct layout is selected. (It should be partybox single strip) 4

Ensure Photoboof with Webcam is your selected camera. Configure Printing Click Configure to get to the next section. Must be done to both printers!! Round Robin is the default setting that we use. There are other print options available. 5

Once you click configure: - Canon Inkjet ip3600 series Printing Preferences will pop up - Focus on Main and Page Setup These are the settings that should be used for proper printing of the single PartyBox strip. 6

Layout Editor Click the preview button to see if the graphic you loaded is correct. These are the settings to print the correct size for a partybox single strip. Click browse to pick a graphic to load. An in depth graphic loading tutorial is on pg. 11 of the manual. You can change the color of the photo strip with this button. Leave these numbers that the current setting. This is for the picture placement for the photo strip. If these numbers are changed, nothing will print correctly. 7

Launch Reprinting Utility You can keep this window open during the entire event. After a Boof session, you can click the right arrow to get the new picture on the screen. (It takes a second to register, so if you do it too soon, it will take you all the way to the 1 st picture. If it does, just click the left arrow to get back to last picture.) Once you have the picture you want to reprint in the screen, simply click the printer icon. If you need 5 additional prints, click the printer icon 5 times. 8

2.) Moving Images Snapshot size should be set on 640 x 480. Notes: This window has the live preview and camera settings on it. Camera Click here. Camera Options is the only important setting in this dropdown menu. 9

If the laptop has an onboard webcam, it may default to it. Ensure under the Camera Properties Window that Microsoft LifeCam is the selected camera. Frame rate should be set on 30, but the webcam may auto adjust it to 15 or 10. It is okay. This is just the camera adjusting to different lighting. Frame size should be set at 640 x 480. It should be the same as the Snapshot Size. 10

*** Your client will get a copy of all of the photo strips, as well as all of the individual pictures of the entire event. IV.) Troubleshooting If you are experiencing any issues with your booth, the first thing you should do is check your settings to make sure that they are set to the optimum settings that we have preset for you. This manual has visuals of all these settings that you can reference. The following are issues that we have experienced in the past, and have an easy and direct solution: 1) Monitor Issues 2) Printing Blurry/Wrong Size 3) Pictures are displaying 4 boxes like a window 14

Monitor Issues If you are seeing the entire computer screen in your monitor instead of just the photoboof screen, follow these instructions: 1) Right click on the main screen of your laptop 2) Click Screen Resolution 3) Under the Multiple Displays tab, it should be on extend these displays. 4) Before you close the screen, make sure that Display 1 is your main display Multiple Displays must read extend these displays. This is vital to your monitor having the correct PhotoBooth screen. Printing Blurry/Wrong Size Every now and then, you will get one blurry picture due to the camera trying to auto-focus. If all of your prints are coming out blurry or seem to be the wrong size, it is probably because the Snapshot Size and Frame Size are off. These two should always be the same: 640 x 480. The Frame Rate should be set at 30. If it adjusts on its own, that is okay. The camera does this to adjust to different lighting conditions. 15

Pictures are displaying as 4 boxes like a window If each individual picture is showing up as a 4 box window (usually the top two will be the same picture, and the bottom two will display just a black screen) you need to change your resolution under the moving images window. As stated in the manual, the resolution needs to be set at 640 x 480 under Snapshot Size and Frame Size at all times. Look underneath the moving images chapter previously mentioned in this manual. V.) Conclusion This manual can be used as reference tool as you learn about your PartyBox PhotoBooth. It surely doesn t cover all the functions of the photobooth, but it is a great instrument that will help you grow as your PartyBox grows in your market. These settings can be adjusted to your preference. We just wanted you to have a standard setting to start from. For questions not answered or covered in this manual, please contact the Baton Rouge office, and we will be more than happy to assist you. Good luck, and remember, the party is in the box! 16
