3 Logging into Google Docs for WCS Logging into Drive The first time you access Westside s Google Docs, you need to log in. The easiest way is to go to: Enter your username and password and click Sign in. As a reminder, your username is created using the following format: last.first@westside66.net Get to Google Calendar After you log in, click Calendar on the title bar. This is your main web calendar view. Notice that on the left side, you have a mini-month view calendar and right below that you have a listing of the calendars available to you.

From here you have the ability to add users to your calendar, as well as the ability to make the calendar public. To add a user to your calendar, start typing their name into the text box under Share with specific people. After you type their name in, you can set the level of permission that they have. The top two options give the person you share with the ability to create and delete events.

6 Naming and Sharing a Calendar with Students Sharing a Calendar with Students If you wish to share your calendar with students, first go into the Share this Calendar setting and make sure that Share this Calendar and Make Calendar Public are checked. In the drop down next to Make this Calendar public, select See All Events and Details Next, click save and then click Calendar Details Scroll down to see Calendar Address. Copy the link and it to students.
