4 What's New in APM Introduction We went back to the drawing board and created an online application targeted in helping you create order and process APMs for your aircraft more efficiently and effectively. In doing so, Honeywell has focused on the following things: Make the application more intuitive, easy to navigate, and make the application easier to use. Here are some of the updates we have done in this release: 2.1 Fleet Information for Airline customers In this release, a dedicated page for viewing the fleet related information for the users with airline customer role has been added. This feature will enable the customers to take number of actions such as add their aircrafts, upload fleet details, delete aircrafts and search for an aircraft in its existing fleet 3.1 Online Quote Request for Airline Customers As part of the customer centric approach, APM web application will now allow the airline customers to request for the quotes. This functionality will enable the customers to create a quote for a new APM part. A customer can also save their existing quote, edit it later, and submit it. 4.1 Security Code Generation for APM (OEM Specific) OEMs can now use the APM web application to get the security code for the APM by entering the details related to the make and model along with the serial number, base and dash number. Instant security code generation will provide more control to OEMs with respect to getting security codes related to the APM parts, which are security, enabled instantly (Please note that this feature is only for the factory purpose orders). 1-1

5 Accessing the APM Site Log on to the Website To login to the website 1. Once you have a registered Honeywell ID, visit MyAerospace.com portal, and sign in with your Honeywell ID and Password. 2. Hover the mouse cursor over Services, Support, and the click Aircraft Personality Module (APM). IMPORTANT: If you are not a registered user for APM application, then you will be redirected to the APM application registration page. Provide your details, and select your contact type. Please note, that this page will come only if you are not registered for the APM application. If you are already registered then you will be directed to the APM homepage. 2-2

6 Ordering and Order Status Viewing Order Status To view the order status 1. Click the View Status & Delivery link in the navigation pane. A. Search for a specific APM order. You can search by Invoice, PO, Make and Model, Pack slip and Order Date. Click on Advance Search for additional search items. B. Results for your search will be listed here. By Default, the 25 most recent orders are displayed. C. Details for each order. You can also download the APM, view invoices and POs, and view and generate pack slips 3-1

7 3.2 Status & Delivery Icons The View Status and Delivery page displays the following icons that enables you to perform various operations. 3-2

8 3.3 Download an APM To download an APM 1. On the View Status & Delivery page, click the Download APM Files icon under the actions column. The Download APM dialog box displays the APM Details along with the link to download the APM files. 2. Click the link next to each order to download the files as applicable. 3.4 View Shipment Status To view the shipment status of an APM 1. On the View Status & Delivery page, click the View Shipment Status icon under. 3-3

9 2. Click the link next to each order to download the files as applicable. 3.5 Download Media Labels To view the shipment status of an APM 1. On the View Status & Delivery page, click the Download Media Label icon next to an order. A web prompt is displayed at the bottom of the page along with the Open, Save and Cancel buttons. 2. Click Open or Save buttons as applicable. 3.6 Download Invoices To download the invoice of an APM 1. On the View Status & Delivery page, click the Download Invoice icon next to an order. A web prompt is displayed at the bottom of the page along with the Open, Save and Cancel buttons. 2. Click Open or Save buttons as applicable. 3-4

10 3.7 Download Certificate of Conformance To download the invoice of an APM 1. On the View Status & Delivery page, click the View/Download Certificate of Conformance PDF icon next to an order. A web prompt is displayed at the bottom of the page along with the Open, Save and Cancel buttons. 2. Click Open or Save buttons as applicable. 3-5

11 Additional APM Tools Media Inspecting Tools To view Media inspection tool 1. In the navigation pane under Installation, click Inspect APM Media. 2. A popup window will display. Follow the Steps listed to Inspect APM Media. 4-1

12 4.2 Inspecting Contents To test the media and verify the status 1. In the Inspect APM Media pop-up, click Inspect Contents. 2. Your media will be scanned and results will display as being valid or invalid. 4-2

13 4.3 Validating Security To test the media and verify the security Status 1. In the Inspect APM Media pop-up, click Validate Security. 2. Enter the Aircraft Serial Number and Security Code in the fields and click Validate. 4-3

14 3. Your media will be scanned and results will display as being valid or invalid. 4.4 View Test Report You can view a report showing the results of a media scan with Security on or off. To view the test report 1. From the results of the scan, click View Test Report. 2. A pop-up window will display. You can view a report showing the results of a media scan. 5-1

15 Fleet Management View Fleet Information Once the user with the Airline Contact role logs in the APM application (post successful registration) then user will be redirected to the fleet information page. Your Fleet Info page will allow you to view your fleet related information To view the fleet information Click on Your Fleet Info link under Fleet Information in the left menu bar. a. You can search your fleet by serial number, part number, and manufacturer, model and tail number. Click on More Search Options to reveal additional search filters. b. Validate Selected Aircraft and other actions with respect to the aircraft listed for your account. Actions that user can take are: Add new aircraft Delete aircraft Upload fleet details Download fleet template c. Results for your search will be listed here. 5-1

16 5.2 Validate Selected Aircraft Validate your aircraft in the Your Fleet Info page itself. To validate the details of an aircraft 1. Select the check box next to an aircraft in the list, which needs to be validated. 5-3

17 2. Click on the Validate Selected Aircrafts button. On clicking OK button, aircraft should be successfully validated. 5.3 Add New Aircraft Add a new aircraft in your fleet in the Your Fleet Info page itself. To add a new aircraft 1. Click on the Aircraft button. 2. Fill the mandatory details in add new aircraft info pop up and click on Add button. 5-3

18 3. Provide your confirmation for adding an aircraft. 5-4

Review the message from the application for confirmation of addition and validation. 5.4 Download Fleet Template Template for the fleet can be downloaded and uploaded in the APM web application from the Your Fleet Info page itself. 1. Click on the Fleet Template button. 2. Save the Excel file on your local system. 5-5

Open the Excel file saved, and review and fill the details. 5.5 Upload Fleet Details You can upload the fleet details by filling in the Excel template that can be downloaded by following the above steps. This option will be present in the Your Fleet Info page. To upload fleet details 1. Click on the Fleet Details. 2. Confirm the upload process. 5-6

21 If wrong data is entered, then you will get error message after confirming the upload process. On clicking the ERROR LOG link displayed in the message, the error log will be downloaded in a text format as shown below If the data entered by you is correct then, success message will be displayed. 5-7

23 5.6 Delete Existing Aircraft Aircraft can be deleted from your fleet by using this option present on the Your Fleet Info page. To delete an aircraft 1. Select an aircraft, which needs to be deleted. 2. Click on the Delete button and confirm the deletion process by clicking OK button. 3. Once deleted, you should get a success message and the aircraft should disappear from the fleet details. 5-8

24 5.7 Edit Aircraft Details Details with respect to a particular aircraft can be edited by you on the Your Fleet Info page. To edit the details of an aircraft 1. Click on the Edit icon in front of the record you want to edit. 2. Edit the detail in the pop up that opens and then click Save Changes to update the record. NOTE: Once you validate a particular aircraft record, then the only base number, dash number and tail number will be editable. However, if the record is not validated, then the fields present in the Edit pop up will be editable. 6-1

25 Manage Aircraft Delivery Information Introduction This feature will allow you to manage the aircraft delivery related information and is available only for the OEM enhanced user role. To manage aircraft delivery information 1. Click on the Manage Aircraft Delivery Info link under the APM Services. 2. Select Manufacturer will be defaulted to the OEM name. For example, if an Embraer user has logged in,the manufacturer drop down will display only Embraer as an option. Select the Aircraft Model for which the delivery information is needed. Once information is entered click on Display button. 6-1

26 3. On clicking the Display button, records will be displayed for the user. User can further search by the use of various search filters. However, by default all the aircrafts, which are with status as Not Delivered, will be displayed. 6-3

27 4. For updating/editing the record, click on the edit icon in front of the aircraft record. On clicking the edit icon, EDIT AIRCRAFT DELIVERY INFORMATION pop-up can be viewed, where information can be edited and saved. 5. Click on the SAVE CHANGES button to confirm the update of information. 6-3

29 Features & Packages View Features, Part Numbers, & Spreadsheets To view features, part numbers and spreadsheets 1. Click View Features, Part Numbers and Spreadsheets link in the navigation. 2. Use the control panel to select your Manufacturer, Model, and Base Number. 3. Click on the Features Setup button 4. Results will display all of the available options for this base configuration. Select the feature you like to have enabled by clicking on the feature and updating the variable. 7-1

31 5. Click on the Find a Part Number button, and available part numbers will be displayed. 7.2 Download APM Spreadsheet To download APM spreadsheets 1. Click View Features, Part Numbers and Spreadsheets link in the navigation. 2. Use the control panel to select your Manufacturer, Model, and Base Number. 3. Download option will appear. Click on the link to show details of the download. 4. Details from your selection will be displayed in a pop-up. Click on the APM Spreadsheet link to download. 7-4

32 5. A popup window will open; providing you a link to download your APM spreadsheet. 7-4

33 Quote for Airline Customers Create Quote 1. As an airliner, you can request a quote for an new APM for an existing part number. The quote request can be initiated by clicking the Online Quote Request sub-menu option as displayed below under the Order main menu. 2. On clicking the online quote request link, you should be able to view the page for requesting quote. You need to select the manufacturer and aircraft model, and provide details for the base and dash number, which is needed as part of the APM. You can also add additional ID s who will be notified once the quote is submitted successfully. 7-4

34 3. Once you have provided the manufacturer, model, required base and dash numbers, click on the Import Fleet Details button as shown below. This will fetch the fleet related information based the details you provided. 4. Select the aircraft for which you want to raise a quote request and use the remarks field for adding any additional remarks. Once done, click on the Request button. 7-4

35 5. Once the request button is clicked, then you should be able to view a confirmation message. Click on OK to proceed further and submit the quote successfully. 6. Once the quote is submitted successfully, you will be navigated to the View Status and Delivery page, where the submitted quote will be displayed as a record with status as Quote Submitted 7-4

36 7. However, it might happen that instead of submitting the quote, you might want to save the quote and submit it sometime later. In that case, instead of clicking on the Request button, you need to click on the Save button during the quote creation process as shown below. 8. On clicking the save button, you will get a confirmation message to save the quote Click on the Ok button to proceed further. 9. Once the quote is saved, you will be redirected to the View Status and Delivery page. A saved quote will be listed with a status as Quote Saved. A user can click on the edit icon as shown below. On clicking this edit icon, the user will be redirected to the Quote Request page as shown in the starting. 7-4

38 Security Code for APMs 9 This feature will allow the users with OEM enhanced role to generate the security code for the APMs they want to use. 9.1 View Security Code 1. Click on the View Security Code link present under Installation menu item 7-4

39 2. Select the relevant details related to the aircraft in the View Security Code page 3. Click on the Get Current Configuration, and select the APM Base and Dash Number 7-4

40 4. Click on the Get Security Code button, confirm the detail and click on the OK button which will be displayed subsequently on the confirmation pop-up 5. Once clicked on Ok button, the security code will be displayed 7-4

41 9.2 View Security Code on Status and Delivery Page On the View Status and Delivery page, click on the lock icon as shown below. This icon will be displayed for all the APM records that have security feature as ON. Clicking this icon will trigger download of a text file with the security code details as shown below 2 You can also click on the download icon for security enabled APMs to view the security code through a text file. 3 On clicking the download icon, a pop-up will open as shown below Click on the download link which will display the security code as shown below. 7-4
