2 Setting User Preferences Overview The Repair Order Portal allows users to manage the following preferences: Time Zone: If the correct time zone of the user does not reflect on repair orders, the specific time zone can be designated as the default. To set the default, users must update their preferences and select the applicable time zone. Once selected, all repair orders reflect the users time zone Ship Address: If a user selects the same ship address on all repair orders, the specific address can be designated as the default address for repair orders. To set the default, users must update their preferences and select the specific ship to address. Once selected, the ship address defaults in the Shipping Details screen of new repair orders, saving the user from searching and selecting the address View My Repair Orders: By default, when the user accesses the Repair Orders and Order Status tabs, the Repair Order Portal displays all repair orders associated to the account linked to the user profile. This can be cumbersome for a user who may want to only view their repair orders. If a user would like to limit the view to the orders they submit or save, the preference can be set. By setting this preference, only the user s repair orders will display in the Repair Orders and Order Status tabs. This setting can be modified during the search, should the user need to expand the search criteria The following information outlines how to manage the preference settings for a users time zone, default shipping address and order display. 2

4 Setting User Preferences Time Zone The User Preferences screen displays Step 2: Click the Time Zone drop down field and select the applicable time zone Step 3: Click on NOTE: The user must log out and log back into the Repair Order Portal to immediately apply the selected time zone to newly created repair orders Displays the account name and number associated to the portal uses account 2 3 4

7 Setting User Preferences Ship Address The Pick the Address to ship this order to pop-up displays a list of shipping addresses associated with the account Step 3: Select the check box associated with the ship address or click on to conduct a search for the address Step 4: Click on 3 4 7

10 Setting User Preferences View My Repair Orders The User Preferences screen displays Step 2: Click the checkbox associated with the applicable setting in the Order Display section. Options include: View my saved repair orders only: When the user accesses the Repair Orders tab, only the repair orders saved by them display View my submitted repair order only: When the user accesses the Order Status tab, only the repair orders submitted by them display Step 3: Click on NOTE: The user must log out and log back into the Repair Order Portal to immediately apply the selected shipping address to newly created repair orders
