5 eschenker Customer Registration Become a customer on the eschenker portal In order to register, please click on the Register a New Login link on the eschenker Portal entry page. You are directed instantly through our onboarding process which at the same time links you to and secures your sensitive data. Important to know: Every eschenker business user is assigned to an own Login ID in order to sign into the eschenker Portal All Login ID s are provided by the DB Schenker Identity Management System (SIMS) Schenker AG August
6 eschenker Customer Registration The DB Schenker Identity Management System (SIMS) Profile Through registration, you will need to provide an unique address and your valid contact information like name, address, company name, phone etc. Access Request You are automatically given access to eschenker as part of the basic DB Schenker services. A customer may request access to additional DB Schenker services (e.g. PVMI) by clicking on the appropriate radio button. Summary Before submitting your registration, you will see a final summary for your review. For security reasons, please follow the additional information in your and finalize the onboarding process by setting your individual password. How to access the portal and register for a login id 6

9 eschenker Request access to eservices Discover now the impressive possibilities of the eschenker portal When you start working with the eschenker portal, you are directly able to work with the public available eservices like Scheduling, Emission Calculator and Tracking. But eschenker offers you much more You have two options two request access to specially secured eservices: 1. During the Become a customer process, eschenker will present a list of available eservices. A click on a respective eservice will show detailed information and offers you to request access. 2. The launchpads show you all available eservices Coloured means you already have access. Greyed out icons are available, but you need to register. A double-click on a greyed out icon will open again detailed information and offer you to request access. Schenker AG August

11 eschenker Navigation eschenker The portal provides a consistent user interface The portal and the eservices within the portal will fit within 4 user interface areas 1. The Header displays the DB Schenker logo, identifies your User Group and signed in User Identity by displaying your user name and if provided already - your company logo 2. The Footer provides links to general information about DB Schenker policies, contact information, technical information and the current software version 3. The middle / right area is reserved for the eservice and is where most of the information and functionality is presented. Every eservice will display a name and unique icon that identifies the functionality that is provided. 4. The area on the left side is called the Left Navigation Bar and it provides several navigation features covered on the next slide. 5. The Left Navigation Bar can be hidden and shown by clicking on the Show / Hide button Name Logo Schenker AG August
12 eschenker Navigation eschenker Navigation is simplified by several common UI features Navigation within the portal is easy once you learn a few of the common features 1. Click on your name to open the Edit User Profile pop-up dialog 2. Click on the eservice icon at any time to open the Launchpad 3. Click on an eservice shown in the Launchpad pop-up dialog to quickly navigate to that eservice - Shows your eservices that are designated as Favorites - Closes the currently active eservice and then opens the eservice selected from the Launchpad 4. Click on a link in the Left Navigation Bar to open dialogs within the current eservice and to use features provided outside the eservice - The upper portion is identified with an eservice title (e.g. Advanced Tracking) and provides a menu for features within the eservice - Lower portion contains links to other eservices and widgets like Quick Tracking 5. The Support link in the footer will open a dialog where you can send an message to the portal administrator Schenker AG August Name Logo 3 1

14 eschenker Customization eschenker Changing languages in the private area of the portal Once you have signed into the portal, the language displayed is based on the Preferred Language specified in your User Profile. To change languages 6 1. Click on your user name in the upper right corner 2. Click on the Edit User Profile menu option 3. eschenker portal will open the Edit User Profile (settings) pop-up dialog 4. Hover the mouse to the right of the Preferred Language combo box and click on the pencil icon Inherited from User Group 5. Click on the Preferred Language combo box and select a new Language-Location 6. Click on the Save button and then click on the Close button to return to the main dialog The preferred language is initially inherited from the user s User Group until the user overrides the inherited value as described above. To return to the inherited state, the user must repeat the process and click on the X icon. 14 Click Click to override inheritance to return to the inherited state
15 eschenker Customization Configure the eschenker Home Page and the Launchpad 1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of eschenker Home to enable customization 2. Click on the check box for Favorite eservice Management to make this dashboard dialog visible or invisible When there are more than one dashboard dialogs available, click and drag the DRAG ME tag to change positions of the dialogs Hover your mouse over the icon of an eservice in the All eservices panel (lower) and either click on the Star icon or simply drag and drop to move the eservice to your Favorites (i.e. designates this eservice as a Favorite and makes it visible on the Launchpad) Hover your mouse over the icon of an eservice in the Favorites panel (upper) and click on the X icon to remove the eservice from your Favorites Drag an eservice between panels or within a panel. 6. Click on the Save button to save your changes. Schenker AG August
16 eschenker Customization Configure the Left Navigation Bar The Left Navigation Bar help the user to navigate within eservices and within the portal. It can be customized to the personal preferences of each user The top portion of the Left Nav Bar provides a menu to dialogs contained within an eservice 2. The Left Nav Bar also provides a way to quickly navigate to other parts of the portal. eservice Shortcuts Provides a widget that allows a user to enter a DB Reference Number and search for shipments in Standard Tracking Quick Access Provides hyperlinks to commonly used or related eservices Bookmarks A bookmark saved by another eservice can be used to quickly return to the page bookmarked. NOTE: This feature will be expanded as eschenker continues to mature. 3. To configure the Left Nav Bar, hover the mouse over the section heading and click on the gear icon 4. Click on the check box next to each available option to make visible or invisible on the Left Nav Bar 16
