Prerequisites Always check the latest Change History notes document for the current VM version online at Resources: The following VM resource configurations are for trial and testing installations. These numbers may need to be increased for production. Always review production VM installation resources with TCPWave support prior to installation. Download the open virtual application (OVA) Download the IPAM and Remote OVA s from the download or FTP site using the credentials provided by support.

Install the IPAM and then the Remotes while providing the IP addresses, netmask and default gateway s that the VM s will run in.

Installation Import the OVA s into the virtual machine manager of choice, using the appropriate resource settings. Install the IPAM and then the Remotes while providing the IP addresses, netmask and default gateway s that the VM s will run in. IPAM VM Installation Start the IPAM VM using the virtual machine manager. The VM will perform a series of tests and initialization during the boot process. When the startup process is complete the following screen will appear: Login as root using the password provided by TCPWave support. You will then be prompted to change the root password. Keep your new root password in a secure environment. Once the root password is reset the system will produce the following screen. The next step is to configure disaster recovery using MySQL replication.
