6 Introduction Chapter 1: Introduction Overview InfoSAP HC01 provides high availability and functionality to meet today s fast paced and ever-changing business environment. Now you can make your messaging content and delivery system easier and faster. The InfoSAP HC01 is Windows compliant, easy to integrate and can be managed through a PC interface. It incorporates dragand-drop functionality for the creation of playlists and programs. InfoSAP HC01 requires Microsoft.NET framework v3.5 to run. During the installation process, the installer will automatically detect whether you have the required version of.net framework installed and, if not detected, will install it. Installing the Software 1. Double click the Setup application. The window below appears. 1

7 Chapter 1: Introduction 2. Click Next to continue the setup. 3. Check I Agree after reading the License Agreement and click Next to continue. 4. Select the Folder Location. Note Folder Location refers to the directory where you want to install the InfoSAP HC01 in your PC. 2

8 5. Click Next, the window below appears. Chapter 1: Introduction 6. Click Close to complete installation. Installation is now complete. 3

9 Chapter 1: Introduction Program Interface The Program Interface of the HC01 consists of a tab bar for navigating interface screens and various toolbars and menu items depending on which screen is open. The Tab Bar contains six items: Main, Program, Program EZ Update, Schedule, Schedule Update, and About. Item Main Program Program EZUpdate Schedule Schedule Update About Description Select interface language Create a new Program file. Update a part of an item file for the player to auto download. Arrange publishing sequences Update schedule to players and set auto update parameters Display the InfoSAP HC01 version number. Main Screen Upon opening the program, the main screen appears as follows: Tab Bar Language Selection Menu 4 The Tab Bar is described in Program Interface. The program currently supports only English for the interface language.

10 Chapter 1: Introduction Program Screen The InfoSAP HC01 includes tools and panels that help you create and navigate your programs. Understanding these tools will help you maximize the application s capabilities. The hierarchy generally consists of the following tree elements:

14 Chapter 1: Introduction Program: this is the root of the hierarchy and defines the name of the program. Frame: this is the viewable field within the program. it consists of one or more layouts Layout: A layout defines the items contained in the frame for specified periods of time. Layer: layers of the layout are defined as video, weather, ticker, and HTML among others, and are included in the Layout definition. ItemGroup: ItemGroups are subsets of a layer and often contain duration information for the items contained therein. Item: a file, URL, text, or other supported content for the particular ItemGroup. Item Lists Item Groups can be edited by either modifying individual items in the Program Tree or by right-clicking the ItemGroup to open the Item List menu. The advantage of using the item list menu is that it provides a preview of the graphic or video to be used in the item list. To use Item Lists: 1. Expand the program tree until the ItemGroup you plan to edit is visible. 9

15 Chapter 1: Introduction 2. Right-click the ItemGroup to display the context-sensitive menu and select Open Item List. The Item List screen opens. 3. In the Item List Screen, perform one of the following: 10 Preview: The preview function varies depending on the element that you are editing and is explained in the respective section in Creating Content.

16 Chapter 1: Introduction Add: Click to add another item to the item group. a browse dialog appears. Delete: Select one of the items in the item list and click Delete to remove it from the list. A confirmation dialog appears. Replace: Select one of the items in the item list and click Replace to replace it with a different file. A browse dialog appears. Modify: Select the item on the item list to modify and click Modify. This menu item only appears for some element types (HTML, Ticker, Weather) Up: Select an item and click Up to move the item up in the list. Items cycle in the specified order. Down: Select an item and click Down to move the item down in the list. OK: Click to save settings and exit the Item List screen. Cancel: Click Cancel to exit the Item List screen without saving settings. Property Area Contains information on the selected object in Program Tree. Layout Area The workspace for changing a layout. 11

17 Chapter 1: Introduction Tool Bar Click the icons in the Tool Bar to use the commands. After selecting a desired command, left click inside the Layout Area and drag to create a layer. 18 Program EZUpdate Chapter 1: Introduction Clicking the Program EZUpdate tab opens the following window: Menu Bar Tool Bar Program Tree Layout Area Property Area The functions of the Program Tree, Property Area and Layout Area are identical to the Program tab screen Menu and Tool Bar There are three items in the menu bar: File, Edit and View. There are four icons in the tool bar: Open, Save, Zoom in/out. Menu Item Description Tool icon Description File Open *.plc file, Save or select recent project file Click the icon to open a *.plc file. 22 Information Area Chapter 1: Introduction The Information area contains the Program and Command Filters and the month view if a time mode is set for the Edit area Edit Area The edit area contains a calendar timeline for adding and editing schedules. 17

24 Getting Started Creating a new program Chapter 2: Getting Started 1. Click the icon to start a new program. The window below appears. 2. Enter the name of your program and select the layout resolution for designing this program. 3. Select Portrait Mode if you want to create a Portrait Mode program. 4. Click OK to start the program. The Main User Interface appears as follows. 19

25 Chapter 2: Getting Started Insert a Frame 1. Select the program name and right click. A menu window displays. 2. Select Create Frame. The new Frame1 displays under the program name. Insert a new Layout into Frame 1. Right click Frame1 to open submenu. 20

26 Chapter 2: Getting Started 2. Click Create Layout to insert a new Layout into the Frame. The Layout Template window appears as follows. 3. Tick the radio button on the top to view Default Templates or User Templates (defined by user). 4. Select a layout by clicking on the desired template image. 5. The new layout displays in the Program Creator menu. You can insert additional layers by into the current layout. 21

27 Chapter 2: Getting Started Save Layout as User Defined Template You can save the layout of different types of contents as template. 1. Right click the Layout you want to save as template to open submenu. 2. Click Save Template to open the Save Template window Type the name and description of your template. 4. Click OK to save. Note All inserted items are excluded in the User-Defined Template.

28 Manage Template Chapter 2: Getting Started 1. From the Menu Bar, click File to open submenu. 2. Select Manage User Template to open the Manage User Template screen. Note You must export any saved templates that you plan to use in other programs. Saved templates only appear in the program that you are using. 3. Click + to add, - to delete, or to export templates. 23

29 Chapter 2: Getting Started Editing Layout Properties You can adjust the order of a layout by selecting a layout and right clicking to open up the properties submenu. 24 Function Delete Up Down Copy Paste Preview Change Layer Level & Opacity Adjust Layer Duration Save Template Create Layout Description Click to delete the selected layout. Click to move the selected layout up in the tree order. Click to move the selected layout down in the tree order. Click to copy the selected layout to the clipboard. Click to paste the previously copied layer. Click to view the selected layout. Click to adjust the level and opacity of the layers within the layout. Note: Layout must contain more than one layer to adjust the levels Note: Opacity pertains to the adjustment of a video layer. Click to view the layer duration. Note: Duration is pre-configured according to program. Click to save as user based template. Click to create a new layout.

30 Chapter 2: Getting Started Click Delete to delete the Layout. Changing layer level, opacity, and duration To change layer level and opacity: 1. Right-click the layout to open the submenu. 2. Click Layer Level and Opacity to open the Layer Level and Opacity screen 3. Select a layer and use the arrow controls to change the layer level; use the Opacity control to change the selected layer s opacity. 4. Click OK to finish. 25

31 Chapter 2: Getting Started To change the duration 1. Right-click the layout to open the submenu. 2. Click Adjust Layer Duration to open the Adjust Layer Duration screen 3. Select a layer and type in the desired duration. 4. Click OK to save changes and exit. 26

32 Chapter 2: Getting Started Change the order of the Layout 1. Select the layout to re-order. 2. Right click on the Layout to open the submenu, see following image. 3. Click Up to move the Layout up one level or click Down to move the Layout down one level. 27

33 Chapter 2: Getting Started Saving the Program 1. Click File from the Menu Bar to open the File menu Click Save or Save As... to save your program. Note Saving the program saves a PLC file to the current file directory. Clicking Save As saves the PLC file to a different location. Saving a program does not save the content files included in that program; if content files are moved after the PLC program has been saved, you will not be able to access the content files. To allow for portability of the program, you should choose the Export option. Exporting creates an PLC or XML file along with a series of subfolders containing the content files. The exported file and its associated subfolders are portable as long as the file structure is maintained. It is not recommeded to save as XML as you cannot open an XML file in InfoSAP HC01. Program Properties Program Tree and Property will appear after a program is created. Program Tree consists of frames, layout, item groups and items in hierarchical order. Resolution is defined at Program Initiation, while the output timing is determined by the Video Output mode of the player and the program; scaling to fit the video timing is automatic. Duration is not adjustable but auto updated by duration of all frames. Maximun Duration is seconds.

36 Creating Content Chapter 3: Creating Content This chapter will guide users on how to add content to a program. To create a program you have to: 1. Create Frames 2. Create Layouts 3. Create Layers and ItemGroups 4. Create or upload items to the InfoSAP HC01 31

37 Program Structure A program may consist of the following items: audio, video, images, tickers, HTML, and weather. Items can be uploaded from a PC or linked from web pages. Items are bounded by ItemGroups, which are bounded by Layouts. Layouts, ItemGroups, and Items are grouped together by Frames. Group all the frames together and you have a program. The illustration below shows the hierarchy of the program structure. 32

38 Item/ Button Program Frame Layout Layer/ ItemGroup Description Top level of the program structure that is made up by frames. Represents the duration of all items in all Layouts. Layers created from templates or by users. The type of layer decides the types of items you can insert: Image Layer. Use to insert image files. Supported formats include:.bmp,.png, and.jpg. Video Layer. use to insert media files. Supported formats inlcude:.wmv,.asf,.mpg,.m2p, M2V,.TS,.VOB,.DivX,.AVI,.MOV,.MP4,.FIV Ticker Layer. Use to insert message tickers. Weather Layer. use to insert a weather report. OutSource Layer. use to insert content from Component, Composite, or S-Video. HTML Layer. use to insert web pages. Video Streaming Layer. For inserting streaming videos. Audio Layer. use to insert audio items. Clock Layer. use to insert the time. 33

39 Item/ Button Item Description Video Streaming. Users can assign a multi-cast IP and port to receive Video Streaming. Ticker. A ticker is any information that scrolls across a TV or monitor. Users of the DS-Server can create normal tickers or RSS feed tickers. Text tickers fall under this item. Weather List. This item shows live weather status of a list of cities. HTML URL. Signage players can display the content of external web pages in HTML format. Video. Video files which are uploaded from your PC. Audio. Audio files which are uploaded from your PC. 34

40 Creating Frames Chapter 3: Creating Content 1. Right click the name of your program in the Program Tree to open a submenu. 2. Select Create Frame to create a new frame. Note lclicking Edit on the Menu Bar also creates a new frame. lthe maximum number of Frame in Program is 100. lthe maximum duration of Frame is seconds. 35

41 Frame Property The Frame Duration does not need to be edited; it reflects the sum of the duration of all layouts contained in the frame. 36

42 Creating Layouts 1. Right click a Frame to open a submenu. Chapter 3: Creating Content 2. Click Create Layout to insert a new Layout into the Frame. The Layout Template window appears. 3. Select Default Template or User Template. 4. Double click the template to insert it into the frame. 5. After inserting a template, you can insert additional layers into the current layout. Note The 34 default templates included do not contain empty layers Use filters to help review included audio file templates. 37

43 The maximum number of layouts in a Frame is 100. The maximum duration of a layout is seconds 38

44 Creating Layers and Items Chapter 3: Creating Content Creating Layers using the Tool icons 1. Click the Layer icons on the Tool Bar to use the commands. 2. Left click inside the Layout Area and drag to create an area for the layer to appear. 39

45 Creating an Image ItemGroup 1. In Image Layer right click Image to open submenu. 2. Select Create ItemGroup to insert the Image ItemGroup. 3. Image Item Group is added. 40

46 ItemGroup marked in red when the duration of an ItemGroup is more than a Layout's. ItemDuration defines an initial duration for each inserted item in the group. If ItemDuration was changed after items are inserted, all the duration of items will also be changed. Size will be auto set to the entire size of all inserted image items or files. Items in the group will be displayed repeatedly until the GroupDuration ends. The Items in Program Tree will be marked in red when the item duration exceeds the Item-Group duration. The ItemGroup in Program Tree will be marked in red when the group duration exceeds the layout duration. 41

47 Inserting an Image ItemGroup 1. Right click the Image ItemGroup to open the submenu. 2. Select Create Item to insert the Item. An empty Item is created. Note As an alternative to using the Create Item submenu, use the Item List function as described in Item Lists. 42

48 3. Click to open the Choose File window. 4. Locate and select the image file from your PC. The image file is now inserted into the ItemGroup as shown below. Note Program Creator has an image pre-scaling function that will resize the images automatically according to the size of the image layer. The duration for each item can be set after the item is inserted. 43

49 Image Properties The table below describes properties for image Layers, image ItemGroups, and image Items. Level Item Description Left The horizontal coordinates of the image layer. It is editable. Image1&2 Top Width The vertical coordinates of the image layer. It is editable. The width of the image layer. It is editable. Height The height of the image layer. It is editable. Group Duration Duration the itemgroup will cycle for. Items in the group will cycle until this parameter is met. ItemGroup Total Duration Item Duration Displays the length of all items Sets the duration of items inserted after this parmeter is set. The default value is 5 seconds. Size The disk space used by the group Size The disk space used by the item 44 Item Resolution Duration (Sec) Source The image resolution Sets the item duration. The default value is 5 seconds. 50 Drag & Drop image files Chapter 3: Creating Content You can also select multiple image files by clicking and dragging to insert them to the item group. Drag & Drop can be applied to Tree View and Layout area, the rules are defined below: 1. When you drop files to an Item Group, the files are inserted after the last item of the group. 2. When you drop one file to an Item, the Item is replaced with the new file, and therefore dropping multiple files to an Item is not allowed. 3. When you drop multiple files to an Layer (in layout area), the files are inserted after the last item of the last Item Group; if the layer has no Item Group yet, an Item Group will be created automatically. 4. When you drop one file to a Source field, you are assigning (or replacing) the file to the Item, therefore dropping multiple files to an Source field is not allowed. If the file format of the selected files is not supported, an error message appears. Note You can use Copy & Paste to insert one or more image files. The rules follow the above definition. 45

51 Inserting a Video ItemGroup 1. In Video Layer right click Video to open submenu. 2. Select Create ItemGroup to create Video ItemGroup. Size is auto set to the entire size of all inserted video items or files. 46

52 3. Right click the ItemGroup to open submenu. 4. Select Create Item to insert video into ItemGroup. An empty Item is now created. Note As an alternative to using the Create Item submenu, use the Item List function as described in Item Lists. 47

53 5. Click to open the Choose File window. 6. Locate and select the video file in your PC. The image file is now inserted into the ItemGroup as shown below. 48 Note 1. Video Duration is native video length and is not adjustable. 2. Videos are repeated if total duration is less than the GroupDuration.

54 Drag & Drop Chapter 3: Creating Content You can also select multiple video files by dragging and dropping from an Explorer window to insert them to the item group. Drag & Drop can be applied to Tree View and Layout area. If the file format of the selected files is not supported, an error message appears. Note You can use Copy & Paste to insert one or more video files. The rules follow the above definition. Manage Video Item List 1. In Video layer right click ItemGroup to open submenu. 2. Click to finalize and close the video file item list window. Click to give up the modified and close the window Select OK or Cancel to close Item List window. Note In portrait mode, the video file will be rotated and transformed into.avi file if user checks the Rotate Video checkbox.

56 Inserting a Ticker ItemGroup & Item 1. In Ticker Layer right click Ticker to open submenu. 2. Select Create ItemGroup to insert a Ticker ItemGroup. Writing Mode: Read-only, either Horizontal or Vertical, depending on the ticker which you select for layout. Ticker Direction: For Vertical writing mode: Move Up, Move Down, Scroll Right, Scroll Left. For Horizontal writing mode: Scroll Up, Scroll Down, Move Right, Move Left. Pause Time is defined only for Scrolling Up/Down/ Right/Left. 51

After exporting an XML file, the file format of the message icon is converted into an.png file. If the size of the message icon is more than 256 x 256, it will be scaled down after export. 58

Insert a Video Streaming Layer via default or user template. 2. Key in the source and the port in the Property Area to insert Video streaming item. The duration is predefined by layout duration. 67

73 Insert Audio Audio layer is used to specify audio files to play back. It is enabled by selecting the Audio check box in Template dialog window. 1. Right click the Audio Layer to open submenu. 68

78 Previewing the Layout Chapter 3: Creating Content To preview a layout, right click the layout that you want to preview to open the submenu and select Preview from the menu. HTML files and RSS feeds are not visible in preview mode, but images and videos will preview in a small on-screen display in the defined layout. Note User can change the duration in ItemGroup to define playing length. When you select an auto file to be volume source, volume for this layout will be fixed in Audiofile. Saving and Exporting a Program Saving a program saves all the information in the program, however, if files referenced in the program are moved or deleted they will no longer be available to the program. Exporting a program saves the program as well as all referenced files in a subfolder and is recommended if there is any risk that referenced files may be moved or deleted. 73

79 Program EZUpdate The EZUpdate is a function that allows you to update existing items to players quickly via the internet. If you want to create an EZUpdate file, you must open an existing *.plc file and select a previously saved *.ezu file. 1. Click the Tab Bar, The EZUpdate screen appears as below. 2. Click to open an existing *.plc file that you want to modify. 3. Select the item that you want to modify and click to replace the source file Click or left click File in menu bar and select Save to save the modified file to be an *.ezu file. Type the file name and click save button. 5. Type the *.xml file name that you want to create. Click OK to save. Before saving the.ezu file, please confirm the folder to which you want to save is empty. (You must save the.ezu to an empty folder.) 6. A script file (.ezu), the XML file that you created and the new files are stored in the project directory (EZUpdateDemo). The original PLC file also is stored. You can copy those files to a USB flash memory, and update the files in player.

80 Creating a Schedule File Chapter 3: Creating Content To create a schedule file follow the guidelines as explained in the following section. Click Schedule in the Tab Bar menu. The Schedule UI displays in Week view, with the current day highlighted in the calendar field. Schedule Tab To select a certain period of time, you can use the following: Click New or Click on a starting date in the calendar field. Click on day ( ), week ( ), month ( ), or agenda to change the view for the Edit area. Click in the program or command filter to change the program or command color scheme. From this screen you can enter the Program files. 75

81 Inserting a Program File 1. Click or Edit from menu bar or right click in Edit Area and select Add Program to open the window. The Add Program window appears. 2. Click the Browse button to select a program file (*.xml). The frames, resolution, size, and duration length display information are not adjustable. 3. In the Schedule Type drop-down menu, select the schedule type: In-rotation (default), Week Repeat, Month Repeat, Timed. In-Rotation Mode: You can edit the date fields to select a starting and ending date. Check Never if you want to play continuously. The starting date must precede the ending date. Note Click after start line to select the hours and minutes. Click OK to insert the program or Cancel. An error message appears if settings overlap or are incorrect. 76

82 Weekly Repeat Mode: Note First select a program, then select the schedule type. The functions are similarly defined in the previous mode. Check Never if you want to play continuously. The ending date must proceed the starting date. Click after start line to select a specific starting and ending week. In the Repeat Day of Week row, Select the specific days to repeat. Click OK to insert the program or Cancel. Month Repeat Mode: First select a program, then select the schedule type. The functions are similarly defined in the previous mode. Check Never if you want to play continuously. The starting date must precede the ending date. 77

83 Click after start line to select a specific starting and ending month. In the Repeat Day of Month field, select the specific days within the selected month to repeat. Click OK button to insert the program when you are done. Timed Mode: First select a program, then select the schedule type. The functions are similarly defined in the previous mode. Check Never if you want to play continuously. The starting date must precede the ending date. Note Click after start line to select a specific starting and ending month. Click OK button to insert the program when you are done. InfoSAP HC01 automatically checks for schedule types that are overlaid. If an error is detected in In-Rotation Mode, a pop-up window displays requiring you to overwrite or cancel the new program. In Week/Month repeat modes and Timed mode, InfoSAP HC01 displays an error message then cancels the new added program. 78

84 Inserting Commands Chapter 3: Creating Content There are seven kinds of comments and three types of schedule. InfoSAP HC01 can help you easily manage players. Click from the Tool bar to open the Add Command dialog. The window below appears. Note In the Command drop-down menu, select a command: Reboot, Shutdown, Monitor On, Monitor Off, Play Start, Play Stop or Power On. In the Schedule Type drop-down menu, select a schedule type: No-Repeat, Week Repeat or Month Repeat. Click OK to insert the command when you are done. Special Command: Shutdown After using the shutdown function, the player can not be accessed through the Power On or Reboot commands. The player must be manually restarted. Special Command: Power On To use the Power On command, set the Power Off Time to define the auto power on/off occurrences. During a powered on state, if a scheduled Power On command is set prior to a Power Off command, the Power On occurrence will take place the following day. 79

85 An error message appears and the new command is cancelled if two commands are overlaid. 80

86 Reviewing the Schedule Chapter 3: Creating Content Command and program events are displayed as blocks in the Edit area of a view. The current day is highlighted by using the following color. The selected date is marked in the calendar as follows. Normal business hours are designated in white, while nonbusiness hours are designated in yellow. Day View Edit area Week View Commands 81

87 Month View Click to open a detailed view of the selected event. Icons represent program or command events. Note Pick a program or command in Day, Week or Month view. InfoSAP HC01 uses a red line to mark it or mark it as a group when the schedule type is repeat mode. Further detailed information is found under the Command Filter menu. Agenda View 82

88 Programs and commands are organized by starting day. Item Color Block Title Schedule Type YYYY/MM/ DD~YYYY/ MM/DD Repeat Time Every + number or day Description Program or command information. Program: Full path of the program file. Command: Name of the command. The selected schedule type (repeating, non-repeating or other). Duration of program or command, for example: 2009/02/03~2009/03/03. Starting and ending times in repeat mode.time is displayed in a single day when schedule type is not non-repeating. Repeated defined day of week or month, for example: Every 01,15 or Every Monday, Friday. Note InfoSAP HC01 uses the F1, F2, F3, and F4 buttons to change view states. F1 displays Day view, F2 displays Week view, F3 displays Month view, while F4 displays Agenda view. 83

89 Managing Programs and Commands InfoSAP HC01 provides functions for adjusting play order or selecting a schedule type. Copying and Pasting 1. Click Edit from menu bar and click Copy from Days. The following window appears. 2. Click to select a starting and ending day from the calendar, or edit the textbox directly. 3. Check copy item and click OK when you are done. 4. Click Edit from the menu bar and click Paste To Days. The window below appears Click to select a start or end day from calendar, or edit the textbox directly.

90 Note Note An error window pops up if there is a schedule conflict. In-rotation programs and commands are overwritten. When target days have overlaid commands, the original commands and duration are automatically removed. Copy and Paste only supports in-rotation programs and non-repeated commands. Editing and Deleting 1. Right click a program or command to open the submenu. Click Edit to open the window for modifying or click Delete to cancel it. 2. You also can pick a program or command first. Click Edit from the menu bar and click Edit or Delete to modify the program or command. 85

91 Adjust Program Schedule Priority 1. Click Edit from Menu bar to open the sub-menu. 2. Click Adjust Program Schedule Priority. The following window appears: 3. Select a program schedule type and click to move it up or to move it down. 4. Click OK when you are done. 5. In Day or Week View, the UI organizes programs according to the schedule priority. You can see which program to run in player in case two programs of different scheduling type are overlaid. For example, if the priority is Timed > 86

92 Month Repeat > Week Repeat > In-Rotation, the UI will draw the programs as follows: 6. InfoSAP HC01 retains priority settings. The settings are used in next new schedule, except when a different file (*.she) is opened. 87

93 Adjusting Working Time 1. Click Edit from Menu bar to open the sub-menu Click Adjust Working Time and the window below appears. The default working time is from 8 o'clock to 17 o'clock. 3. Click on the Start drop-down menu to select the starting and ending time. 4. Click OK to save the changes. In Day and Week Views, the edit area uses different color schemes to separate normal working time and non-working time. When you change the View mode to Day or Week View, the scroll bar in the edit area automatically moves to the working starting time. Saving or Exporting Schedule Files 1. Click File from menu bar to open sub-menu. 2. Click Save or Save as create a *.she file. The *.she file is only for you to edit it in InfoSAP HC01. The player can not play it. 3. Click Export to create a *.she file, the several *.xml files and same named media folders. Before you export the schedule, please confirm the folder which you want to export to is empty. (You must export the schedule to an empty folder.)

94 Updating Schedules Searching for a player 1. Click Schedule Update. 2. Click Start. Chapter 3: Creating Content 3. After 15 ~ 30 seconds, a list of players displays. 4. Click on a player item to view the respective web page. Note When the Player is disconnected, the Player information in Device List will be disabled within 90 seconds. 89

95 When the Player is connected and respective information displays in gray, the Device List information is enabled within 25 seconds. Uploading a Schedule 1. Select the players that you want to upload 2. Select a schedule file Note The folder of the schedule file that you select must only have one schedule. If there are more than one schedule in the folder, the error message "Please select a folder with one schedule file (.she)". 3. Click Upload button 4. As the schedule uploads, the player will stop and display a "Content Updating" message. 90

96 5. After clicking Upload, schedule and content files will be uploaded to the player. 6. After updating, a will display next to updated players Note After uploading, each player will reboot and the font color will become blue until the player finishes rebooting.(maximum wait time is 120 seconds) You can select more than one player. Up to 2 players may be uploaded simultaneously. While uploading, if the players or computer which you use to upload files from LAN are disconnected, a failure message will display within five minutes. If the network is disconnected while updating, InfoSAP will show the error message "Player: IP Address is failed to connect..." (Maximum wait time is 60 seconds). If the network is disconnected during updating, you must wait 60 seconds before updating again. 91

97 Cancel Upload If you want to cancel uploading, click Cancel. After clicking Cancel, the warning message "Upgrade process is canceled. Please wait..." will pop up and the error message "Player: IP Address is canceled to upload files..." Not Enough Free Storage If the free space on the SD card is insufficient, the error message "Player: IP Address has not enough free storage space to upload files... will show in the log list. Set Auto Update Parameters 1. Select the players that you want to upload 2. Set Auto Update Parameters 92 Auto Content Update: On/Off auto content update Daily Checking Time: Check server at HH:MM everyday.

98 Content FTP Address: The FTP Server from which the player downloads the schedule. The field cannot have spaces. User Name: The user name for the FTP server.
